Servers very pleasant. Food is great.
Great staff and a really good breakfast. We always enjoy the variety of dishes
Excellent service, excellent food, great view
Wonderful service, food, and ambiance. Hightly recommend!
Food outstanding, waiters are the best! Our waiter on Saturday night was engaging without being intrusive.
Supper meals are delicious, not large, but just right for enough to eat without being stuffed.
We always enjoy Ocean Point. Beautiful Views and food is top quality.
Dinner was delicious and the service excellent!
We came up from SC to experience Maine Lobster. We weren’t that impressed. Service was OK but overall I thing Charleston, SC lobster has it beaten. And definitely Southern Hospitality is best in the world.
In age of outdoor dining, primitive picnic tables are not appropriate for what we thought would be an excellent dining experience on the ocean. Tiki lights were never lit that would have improved the ambiance.
Waiter didn’t know menu that well—obviously never tasted the food. Didn’t know what gluten free meant.
Actual food ok—lobster and scallops cooked well, but chicken breast was not cooked to order and was very dry. Couldn’t begin to cut it with plastic knife provided. Potatoes were obviously cooked much earlier and warmed in microwave.
Great breakfast selection, included fresh fruit & apple cinnamon muffins. Had scrambled eggs, wonderful bacon & home fries.
Vacation here at Ocean Point. Love our visits every year.
An excellent meal and a stellar view.
Our serve, House, was outstanding.
Food was mediocre. Unfortunately if you are a guest at the inn, other dining options nearby are nonexistent. Rack of lamb was served undercooked. Salmon was over cooked. Daily vegetable was steamed cauliflower and slices of overcooked zucchini. We were disappointed by the lack of care put into plating the meal.
Special drinks not so good. Scallops delicious, blackened swordfish good, but the grilled swordfish was dry and overcooked. Cauliflower soggy. We dined watching the magnificant sunset, sitting at picnic tables along the water. Wait staff was excellent.
Excellent. Food at a reasonable price. The wait staff for most attentive. And how can you not like a view of the ocean from your table. It was our 50th anniversary and it was an excellent experience. We will be going back.
We were looking for an outdoor dining experience and saw Ocean Point Inn on Open Table. The Inn is in an incredibly beautiful spot in East Boothbay, away from the bustle of the harbor. We ate at picnic tables just feet from the water and enjoyed the sunset while having a wonderful meal. The service was very fast snd attentive, and the food was excellent. I enjoyed the mango salad and one of the specials, lobster ravioli. My husband loved the crab cakes and chicken dish that also had lobster and scallops in it. Delicious!
Filet Mignon was superb. Veal francese was delicious although would have preferred the veal to be tenderized.
Location and view are phenomenal.
Excellent as always.
Tbis restaurant is about 20 minutes from the town of Boothsbay. It is right on the water so the views are beautiful. We both had the steak with the bourbon sweet sauce which was delicious. Service was very good. There is outside seating but it was very windy so we ate inside.
Great food and service. My guests was really happy also.
1st night of a weeklong stay in Maine. Nice start!
The service was four star! The food was amazing. My husband had the Delmonico Streak with a bourbon sauce and the steak melted in your mouth.
Great setting and location! Limited lunch menu but food is good! Considering service and staff challenges this year, I applaud them for keeping staff and staying open!
We had the duck and fish tacos, which were excellent. We requested on of the specials, lobster ravioli, but they were out. Great for sunsets.
You will not get a more beautiful setting for dinner. The food was good and the service was excellent.
Amazing and the weather was perfect for a stunning sunset.
Breakfast included a variety of choices. Items were well cooked. For a restaurant touting local food sourcing, it was disappointing not to be served Maine maple syrup. A decent start to the day.
Nice food great quality great value and great service.
Two entrees were tried, menu item rib eye steak was nice with sides of cheesy mashed potatoes and carrots. Other entree was daily special French dip with same sides. This was a major disappointment. Not served on French bread but toasted sliced bread which became soggy and fell apart necessitating fork and knife to eat. Dessert was a delicious fudgy chocolate cake. Server was inattentive, unsure of special details, and didn't bring our table bread, by the time we could grab her, she said she'd get it right away, then cleared a table first. By the time the bread arrived the entrees were delivered before we could even butter it. Understanding times are tough on servers right now we were patient and didn't make an issue, but an apology or two for the missteps would have been more appreciated customer service.
We had the waiter named House on several occasions during our stay at Ocean Inn and Resort. He was great and ensured we had everything we needed
Lovely staff, beautiful setting, ease of making reservations! Thank you.
It met all our expectations. The ocean view, the great food and Cece's service, friendliness and attention were outstanding.
My guests were impressed with the attention that one of our handicapped friends received.
Outside seating had mosquitoes. We were moved indoors and had a delightful delicious dinner with very attentive and friendly service.
The hostess was great accommodating us to move inside and our server (Montana) was wonderful. Two of us had swordfish, which were a small portion, undercooked baked potato and two sprigs of broccoli. Another guest had the baked haddock which had no flavor, so rather disappointing. Sitting outside when sun not directly beating down on a warm night would have been ideal as the view and sunset are stunning!
Amazing fresh food and great friendly service by CeeCee. She was working so hard with a big smile on her face. Can’t wait to go back
Hostess seated us between two other occupied tables while many other open and clean tables were available. Our presence was a partial obstruction to a server who needed to access another section past our table.
Had a delicious blackened sword fish on 8/28 and a fine tasting portobello lasagna on 8/29.
Great experience every time we come, we love vacationing here 😊
Saturday breakfast was much better than Sunday. Eggs were no cooked completely. Food was just warm. Saturday was so much better
