OP Italian Indy is open for breakfast Monday-Friday 6:30AM-11:00AM and 7:00AM-1:00 PM on the weekends. We are open for dinner Monday-Saturday 5:00PM-10:00PM OP Italian is all about fresh-made pasta, fresh seafood, slow cooked meats and authentic Neapolitan pizza. These are the traditional comfort-food classics that Italians have been roasting, baking, curing and making in their own kitchens for generations. OP Italian is a revitalized concept that is making the classics new again, all in a modern setting. With an open kitchen concept and lively wine bar, OP Italian combines the past and present to serve good food to good people.

    We were privileged enough to have the same server as we did last year, Deirdre, and that speaks volumes about the restaurant to have the ability to keep a server at the caliber of her status for longer than a year. She’s fantastic, and was definitely part of the overall positive experience. Overall, the food was very good and I look forward to returning again next year with our group.

    We really enjoyed the evening. While this was due mainly to whom we were with, OP was great! Attentive service without being on top of you, good food, nice atmosphere, decent value. What is not to like?

    Horrible service. Every table around complained and many tables comped parts of their meals. One person in our party got their meal 15+ min after everyone and two people had incorrect orders brought to them. They were “too backed up” to get butter for the toast. I do not recommend this for brunch. Overpriced and subpar food with even worse service

    Burrata not coming with bread is a joke forcing you to get garlic bread too. The tagliatelle was linguine and lacked all flavor. The spicy shrimp spaghetti had no sauce, just a cup of oil and garlic. Overall terrible but the waitress did her best despite being understaffed. Never going back but thankfully I’ll probably not be in Indianapolis for a while and this restaurant will be gone by then.

    We enjoyed everything about OP! The food was delicious. The atmosphere was nice and quiet. I think that for the price, there should be sides or bread offered. I had the filet and it was delicious. My husband had the lasagna and he loved it but it didn’t come with any sides which I feel like was a little disappointing. Overall, we really liked it!

    Food and service were both phenomenal. Cocktails are exquisite, dessert brown butter latte was to die for. There's not a single thing about this restaurant that I wouldn't recommend. It was fantastic.

    Stopped in for a solo meal during a business trip. Food was excellent and the service from Paige was great! I had a calamari starter which was very good followed by a mushroom and truffle pizza entree. Both were delicious! Wine selection was well paired for meals and the chocolate cake dessert with cappucino was scrumptious. Would definitely recommend.

    We had the pleasure of Brook guiding us on our culinary visit to OP. Her exceptional attention and suggestions were spot on and much appreciated. she made us comfortable and engaged with the menu. She is a gem! One personal caveat, the lasagna was delicious, but it was massive! Love ya OP, but more than one person could handle!

    Our last night in Indy, we had an amazing dinner. Our waitress, Jordan, was awesome even though she had only been there for a week. My husband ordered a specific cocktail and she worked with bartender to get it perfect! I ordered the gnocchi only to be told they were out of the short ribs. I asked if they could substitute for shrimp and again Jordan made it happen. Very enjoyable meal.

    Nice atmosphere especially the open kitchen. The food was just average. Prices are expensive for the quality of food you get.

    We had not been to OP for some time due to a negative experience. So my wife and I decided to go for the Devour event. The food was much better than our last experience and the wines were good too. Our server, Deirdre, did and excellent job of making our dinner a pleasant experience.
