This was an amazing experience as always with Ozumo. My friends and I were celebrating several thing(promotions, new jobs, Birthdays, etc.). I left the GM a message before and she was able to give us complimentary glasses of champagne for us to celebrate and toast.
This experience was world class as always. If you have not had it yet, you have to try it!
Love Ozumo- such delicious food and excellent service, it's where we go when we want to know everything will be delicious and practically perfect ✨
Excellent dinner outside with great views of the San Fran waterfront. Our waiter Daniel was excellent and we really enjoyed the whole experience. Would highly recommend!
Everything delicious, the only thing was that the booths don’t have enough space to sit, they are too many and end up very tight
We sat outside (which was fun, but I don’t recommend it, because people come out from the bar next door and smoke near the outdoor seating area and the garbage is nearby and smells) …the food and sake is top notch and I recommend the chef’s choice of the freshest sashimi. Our server was attentive and helpful as well as super friendly. Overall it was a wonderful lunch experience yet I would choose an indoor table and wait for one of it’s possible to be seated inside.
Great sushi. Like the outdoor area. Great food and service.
Delicious Wagyu, super fresh cuts of sushi. Very pricey
First time here and amaze by the good and service will definitely be back next time im in SF
Nothing short of amazing.
I was expecting a great food experience based on the reviews. What I got was strip mall in an awful suburb level food and experience. I felt like I was in a TGI Friday. Oversized booths, bright lighting and they lied about seating at the bar. They said it was reserved for walk-ins and when I said that reservations should take precedence, they said that it was actually fully booked. And then no one sat there for the almost 2 hrs we spent there. Our server read the entire menu out loud to us and then brought our sake halfway through the meal. For what it was, it was very overpriced. I’m happy to spend a bunch of money on a good meal but not a bad one.
Everything was perfect.
The lobster was great, totally reconended and the ozumo roll.👏🏼👏🏼
I was completely impressed from the moment we walked in the door. The staff, the food, the ambiance, this place has it all. I will definitely be returning!
Sushi is absolutely excellent! Service as well! Some items were truly heavenly!
However, be prepared for a hefty bill. I think we calculated about $7.00/bite of food :-) that can add up. That said, definitely a place for a special occasion or if you are just not that hungry. Some extra nice tables with a water view. Bar tables were sticky to touch, even after we asked to have it re-wiped.
Good was exceptional and the staff was very attentive. We sat outside with a beautiful view of the Bay Bridge.
Music was loud indoors but everything else great! Dined outside.
Fish was very fresh. Great flavours. Overall delicious
Fantastic dinner! My daughter and I ordered many different dishes including the Kobe and everything was sensational!
Would we return?
Just OK !! I excepted something different.
Is really nice, the service too touristy and slow. They recommend you the most expensive Sake and the premium nigiris…… BTW nigiris less than average ….sashimi avatar be average. Difficult to think to come back again !
We had to sit in an odd spot in the main dining area, adjacent to a big table. The acoustics of this section is horrible, so it was loud with lots of echos. It was uncomfortable, and frankly a poor experience. Server was nice, but service was slow. I’d confirm the table before arriving.
Good food and service. Too loud!
It’s our first time eating at Ozumo. For lunch, we had ramen, kaisen don and bento. The food was good and the serving was just right. Jimmy, our server, was very nice and helped us pick what to order. Will try to eat here at night. The place has such a nice view of the bay bridge! 😊
Always the best. Found a nat in the soup other than that it was great as normal lol
Great food but expensive
Beautiful food and sake, artfully prepared and presented. The service was impeccable. A delight from start to finish.
Our waiter “Z” was very knowledgeable and available but didn’t hover. All the server staff were incredibly attentive and accommodating. Food was refined, fresh, and delicious. My only complaint is that the first 7 course arrived almost on top of each other before drinks were served. When I’m spending $250 per guest I don’t want to feel rushed. The second series of dishes were spaced in better sequence and we definitely go back again. Amazing Saki selection
Don't go at 3pm. Tried it before a Giants game. The shift changes at 3:30 so we were firmly told by the front desk that all our food orders had to be in by 3:30. Felt rushed and the restaurant was empty. Food was good but very expensive. A light lunch and a few beers was $200 with tip. Lesson learned. Wagyu nigiri was delicious though.
Amazing food, drinks and service! Must try the mushrooms and fried chicken as apps.
