I didn’t realize until after I got home that we were charged for a drink we never ordered or received.
Pacific Catch serves up a tasty selection of appetizers. Try the coconut shrimp!
We enjoy the beer and wine menu and can give a shout-out for the drinks menu, plus non-alcoholic alternatives. I like the sparkling water bottles as a step up from tap water.
The menu options cover a variety of tastes without being overwhelming. We enjoyed the teriyaki bowl with shrimp, the lobster roll, the waygu burger (outta-dis-world!).
The service is outstanding from the hostess to Joe, our ever pleasant server, whom we requested based on our last visit!
The ambiance is good for a gathering or a friendship meal with another pair.
See you again!
Another great dinner at Pacific Catch. They also have some SF Classics right now. The clam chowder was delicious!
We had lots of issues with the food order, heat of the food, and attention. Not sure what was going on, but a hard night.
The fish was fresh and delicious! However, the service was really slow and it was quite loud.
We brought another couple, their first time there. They loved it! I
Not good, second time in a row . Salad was wet and greasy, avacado going bad, really brown and spelled old. There was a hair in my salad dressing.
Carlos, our server, was very attentive and efficient. Excellent service!
It took over 10 min for the server to approach our table and he only wanted to tell us about the gift certificate and to look at the specials that were on a separate menu on the table. Then, he took off. When he came back, he took the drink order and was gone again for another 10-15 min. After putting in the meal requests we waited another 20 min before only a portion of our table received their food. The other half of our party didn't get their food for another 10 min. Meanwhile, the managers were walking around and never approach us or did anything to correct this problem. Once we got the remaining dishes, we never again saw our server. We finally had to grab a hold of another server to get the check and closeout. I should have used the picked-up service as they were pushing out food a lot quicker.
This used to be our go to place since they opened years and years ago because they know how to cook fish. I have been there five times in the last few months and each time something has been wrong with my order. I do not believe it is with waitstaff but the kitchen staff and getting the food out. Last night we asked for salads first and I received my entree soup first. Not a big deal, but it was wrong. Your server does not serve food so there is a disconnect to anything you order and anyone that cares. I keep trying but not sure it is worth it. BTW, the clam chowder was mostly pureed potatoes and not really a soup but the clams were outstanding.
Brianna was great - suggested a trio of salmon dishes: salmon chowder, salmon taco, and salmon firecracker role - all were great!
Great setup for a date night with a fireplace and wine. They have great food options for sea food lovers. Tried the guaca-poke, lobster roll and clam chowder soup. Everything was good, highlight being the Clam Chowder, it was bomb!! Definitely a must go.
I really like the atmosphere and overall I wasn’t disappointed in the food . I though for the price it was really good
I hadn’t been to Pacific Catch for some time, due to Covid. The food was fabulous and the service was amazing. It was a little noisy, but didn’t interfere with our conversation. We will definitely be going back again! 😊
Good poke appetizer, and great fish and chips as always.
*FANTASTIC FOOD! GREAT MENU!
GREAT SERVICE!!!! Nice outside dining patio. Plea to of tables& parking!!
A bit loud inside. Outdoor is nice with heaters. Nice local spot for drinks and dining.
I appreciated the great service by our waiter. The outside eating area was excellent and made us feel comfortable and protected.
So nice sitting outside and two heaters is great. Server was excellent and food great as always. Their Tuesday wine deal is great but can’t ever pass up the spicy pacific cocktail
Quality of the meal was as always good.
a little loud with traffic noise but was nice to have half off wine and get a free birthday sweet at the end.
very comfortable outdoor eating experience
It was cold inside due to doors remaining wide open, the music was too loud to hear table conversation, the food was mediocre…and served on metal baking sheets instead of plates! Our server Adrian, however deserves 5⭐️s - he was friendly, helpful and very accommodating.
The server was very pushy and constantly interrupted our conservation. She also pushed to sell a “gift card”.
It was very loud. This made it more like “fast food” experience.
The portions were small compared to the description.
Overall not an enjoyable place to spend the evening with friends.
The food was amazing and staff very friendly.
Food is always delicious and creative. Eating fish at a restaurant can be disastrous if they overcook the fish. Not here! The fish is always cooked to perfection. Very moist. And the various sauces are amazing! I haven't had a bad meal here yet. The outdoor seating works well and I think they've prepared for the rainy season as well with large umbrellas and outdoor heaters.
The food was delicious and served quickly. The staff was friendly and attentive to us.
We loved our dinner at Pacific Catch in Campbell.
Food was delicious and overall setting very warm and comfortable.
Pacific Catch offers a great variety of food options.
We had asked to be seated inside but were led outside. My wife liked the outside so we went along. It worked out.
Soup was ordered. It was delivered. Without the spoon. Seated outside, we went to the front desk to ask for a spoon. The soup was good.
I had mixed catch platter. Cod was soggy, instead of crispy, and stuck to the tray. Calamari was crumby. Coconut shrimp was good. As was the sesame slaw. Sweet potato fries actually overshadowed everything except for the coconut shrimp.
Wife's meal, Snapper, was unremarkable, according to her. Thai Iced tea was too sweet so my wife asked for another half glass of water with lots of ice so she could dilute the tea with water. Got glass of water with 1 cube of ice. Repeated the request and got a glass of ice. Gave up. Fixed her iced tea myself and asked for refill of my diet coke.
Still left a tip. The tip is for the sweet potato fries. And the coconut shrimp.
I've had lunch and dinner at Pacific Catch and never had a bad experience. The food is excellent and the menu has lots of choices, the servers are invariably helpful and combinations between different choices are always allowed. The music was a little bit high in my last visit, in which we were discussing business. Let's point out that there is also a good selection of wine and beer. Great place!
Our experience with our server was great until the manager did not like my request for a candle in our guests ice cream scoop to celebrate her birthday - which they knew from the notes on our reservation. He said we can't have people blowing out candles because of covid. So we can sit and talk and laugh with no masks but we can't blow out a candle? Ridiculous. However, the best answer would have been, unfortunately we don't have candles, but would love to make her feel special by writing something on the plate (or something of the sort). He was very rude about it and left a bad taste in my mouth.
They had a reservation but had to wait for a very long time to get our table. The server was new and so the service was slow.
Excellent food! We love the menu with all the great fish dishes. It is one of our top favorite restaurants in the area.
I like Pacific Catch as a good mid-week date night or pre-movie type of restaurant. The food quality is above average and consistent. I usually order one of the bowls, tacos or the fish and chips. It's a good value balance of good flavors and reasonably healthy nutrition wise. I have been here for lunch and dinner for personal and business types of events. For a mid-week date night take advantage of the 50% off wine list. In the past I got a great deals on Domaine Drouhin, known for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, from the Willamette Valley in Oregon.
Great food and great service just seems a little outdated compared to the one in Palo Alto.
They make the best ceviche! We always order it for an appetizer when we are there.
Server was excellent along with the food
We sat outside and it was a little chilly and windy, but our server accommodated us by moving the heater closer. One of our diners ordered the sea bass. It was very good, but the sides were out of sight great! Don’t give up the Brussel sprouts and cauliflower for fries! The fish tacos were very good. One diner ordered sushi and was slightly disappointed and probably would not order it again. But ... the ginger was exceptional. Service was excellent and the waiter skillfully led us through ordering on our first time to Pacific Catch.
