An incredible sophisticated dining experience in a beautiful unique setting. The steak is perfectly cooked, the veggies and side are artfully prepared. All the food is accessible but different, a twist on every presentation. And make sure you save room for dessert! I loved this place and will return.
The best food I have eaten in SF. Fabulous wait staff, delicious food. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu. Would recommend this restaurant to all my friends. Very reasonably priced.
I had wonderful meals with Palette SF .. the food is one my best epicurean rendezvous ..Staff are friendly The owner and Chef Peter & Sous Chef Alex Was so .. talented in his food presentation the Artistry is pretty impressive .. taste so scrumptious...the ambiance is very appealing to the diners including myself .. overall my dining experience is above & beyond my expectations I highly recommended it ..
I was dining alone. My table setting was far enough away from the next couple that I did not feel like part of their conversation; thank you for the spaciousness! The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. I enjoyed the opportunity to just be in the surroundings and appreciate the exceptional choreography of food and drink orders taken and fulfilled. I look forward to my next meal at Palette!
One of the better restaurants I’ve been to in SF. Presentation and aesthetic was second to none. Food was phenomenal. Talked to the GM, chef and owner, all of which were great and very friendly. Definitely Michelin-quality and worth a visit.
Great food and service. Small crowd for a Thursday evening.
Great food and great service and ambiance. Really cool space for a restaurant. The plates were also themed to the dish from their in-house artist which was SO COOL.
The space and concept are fresh and appealing. The food is beautiful in presentation, complimented by handmade dishes and glassware. The menu is very limited in variety, at lunch. Desserts were excellent.
The service very poor and they charge us sparkling water that we don’t have .
Went here with a group of five people total for dinner on a Friday evening. Loved the service and the overall experience starting with a tour of the gallery as we wait for our table and some wine. The food was excellent and not too heavy. Will definitely go back again!
Great for business lunch. Friendly professional service and very fresh dishes.
My husband and I discovered Palette Tea House in May while visiting San Francisco from Seattle for a family event. We were so impressed with the restaurant, food, and service that we came back in July from Seattle with our friends to have them experience it. All four of us love great food and great service. We were not disappointed.
Palette SF was a great experience. Everything I tried tasted delicious and everyone in my party thought so as well. They have a good wine selection too. The ambience is very different than most restaurants in the city. It's a beautiful space. I love the concept of this restaurant and will definitely be back.
Love the concept and food was delicious! I will be back. The server had a bit of an attitude but that could just be his personality and/or an off day. Not so bad that I wouldn’t return.
Food was really mediocre, nothing stood out. We had artichoke fries (was really bland) dumplings for a starter - the dumpling was the best part of the whole meal but was still nothing outstanding. For main courses we got the Kale/bachamel flat bread/pie and the shrimp.
The flat bread was also very bland that we had to ask for hot sauce, how can you get a pie wrong? The shrimp was good I cannot complain but still not outstanding especially at that price point. I can think of at least 5 restaurants at the same price point that I'd recommend in the city. The ambiance and setup is pretty cool
An amazing dining experience with a twist! The GM, Karter & Chef Pete, lead an attentive staff delivering exceptional service. And don’t miss the adjoining gallery and store.
The ambiance was expansive yet cozy. Beautiful well designed interior with great colors. The menu is a little odd. Minimal options and some of the items that seemed more like sides or appetizers were a little high priced. We were disappointed there wasn’t much of a cocktail menu yet, only vermouth aperitifs. We did however really enjoy the cheese plate and the fried artichokes. The focaccia was wonderful!
Great service and great food loved it
Toooooo expensive for portions. 3 Crispy Shrimp=$36.00! 6 Oysters=$20.00 A couple of drinks and bill was $120.00.
Would rather splurge on The Fabulous Oyster Pie at Bellemore, in Chicago!!!
Great atmosphere, service and food. Unique dishes all very flavorful and beautiful presentation. Overall a bit pricey for what is served, would likely go back and have a drink at the bar and an appetizer verses the full expensive meal.
We met some friends for dinner. We were impressed by the space and the service was excellent. Wine list was also stellar. The food was inventive. Eclectic, even. We had a number of different types of dishes infused with Californian and Asian spices and flavors. Our main course was their rotisserie chicken. We heard is gives Zuni’s chicken a run for its money. It was tasty but still not as delicious as Zuni’s. All and all, I think we would have enjoyed the experience better if had been curated experience like a prix fixe.
Fantastic food and outstanding service. Just WOW. We made it for HH, and ordered most of the things on the menu, some of which we had to order 2x, because they were so good. The Egg Situation was phenomenal, the oysters fresh and full of flavor, and the wine on the HH menu paired perfectly with the rest of it. But it doesn't stop there - the plates were hand drawn and the Lamb's salad we ordered was on gorgeous plate with lamb! I also wanted the baked oysters, but my partner does not eat them so I hesitated on the full order. The chef surprised me by bringing out 1 baked oyster just for me - and I have to say, it was the best one I've ever had and it was beautifully plated on a black stone plank and a bed of salt. This place is a feast for your entire Palette. We didn't get to see the art gallery next door, but we can't wait to be back.
Food was good and service was excellent. My only complaint is the unusual menu, which didn’t give any traditional choices. I had a difficult time choosing an entree.
The halibut was a overdone so ended up being too dry. Very extensive wine list, with some original choices. The artichoke fries were unique & tasty.
I visited Palette for the second time ..perfection,creativity, sincerity..delicious and beautiful food. Great experience!!
They’re just getting started, but it’s a great concept and I appreciate that they’re bringing more art and community space into SF.
Definitely a bit pricy for what you’re getting re. the food menu, but it’s worth stopping by for a drink and to check out the art on display.
Would recommend to a friend.
The whole concept Restaurant, art gallery and store is a one-of-kind spot in San Francisco.
Small menu with everything sold out prior to 7pm. Artichoke fries are largely bland.
Chicken was solid
Great venue, creative, delicious food. Excellent food
What a New extraordinary restaurant!!!
I’m so glad to welcome this to the neighborhood.
For a special treat try their Bulgarian red wine!
