Very nice meal. They did a great job building the seating area outside. It was good although I must’ve met I’ve been there and it’s been much better. Service very good
Most the item are very good. Is good but not special!!
Excellent as always! Friendly attentive service. My husband had the burger and he loved it. I always crave the tuna which never dissapoints!
Great food and service
Fine. Safe responsive staff. Great meal
Fantastic food, excellent service outstanding wine selection
My friends and I very much enjoyed our Saturday lunch here. The staff were friendly and attentive, even moving us to a table with more shade when requested. We thought our dishes were delicious. The only reason I gave it only four stars for ambience is that we were eating outside on the sidewalk. The restaurant itself is very stylish. I highly recommend it.
Too bad they can’t close Park. It was very noisy with cars zooming up and down the street while we were trying to have dinner!
I love Park and Howard. The service is always great!! I love the seared tuna dish. The tuna has a thin coat of a delicious salt/pepper and something else combo that gives it such a great flavor without being overpowering. The avocado was so fresh and the mango slaw perfect. My daughter loves the penne pasta with tomato sauce such that she actually craves it. They follow safety protocols. Overall a lovely experience!
Great food. Beet salad fantastic. Ahi perfect. Best bread pudding anywhere.
Excellent food, the best in the Bay Area!
Very - good. Our choice to eat outside. By far - the best restauruant in Burlingame.
Food was very good. service too. We sat outside which was our choice. Actually, with all the Covid going on it’s wonderful just to eat out and have nice serve. I definitely appreciate the service.
I would give this a million stars if I could! The restaurant is tiny with wonderful decorations and an overall great vibe. We got appetizers, entrees drinks and dessert and seriously could not stop raving about each thing that was set in front of us. The food was probably the best meal I have had all year and cannot recommend this restaurant enough!! It’s a bit expensive so it is more of a date night or special occasion place but it is so worth it. Go here!!!
Food was very good
Good food and nice people. Nice outdoor heated patio.
Great food good service...……………………………………………………………………………..…………….
The manager and staff here are excellent and very conscious about new covid guidelines. All tables were outside, six feet apart and well taken care of. This is a neighborhood gem! Let's keep supporting them!
We tried outdoor dinning at this location due to the reopening protocols last night. The open air ambiance provided a different look to the corner of Park and Howard. As we sipped our drinks under the heat lamp, we enjoyed the architecture from the surrounding buildings - It provided that destination feel. The food was rich and savory, the chef treated each dish delicately and with pride. The standard of P&HB is the same quality of food and service that one would find at a two Michelin Star Restaurant. The ownership should be applauded for putting together a solid team that respects the integrity of the business.
Wine: Lyric Santa Barbara
Entree: Coq Au Vin
Excellent Caesar salad with steak with a tasty hamachi appetizer. Park & Howard Bistro is a cut above the alternatives.
Asparagus soup was excellent, and of course their house made bread!
Upscale, yet lively atmosphere and comfortable ambience. Service was excellent as was the food.
Would definitely come back here if I am ever in the area again
Absolutely wonderful restaurant! Great for special occasion. Food always fantastic!
Just love this place, for both lunch and dinner. Great food, great service. Can be a bit loud at dinner on weekends, but that stop me from going!
Overall had a nice dinner. Service was OK. This is a great local Burlingame restaurant..
Perfect setting and food for a ladies birthday luncheon!!!
Food was amazing! Best filet mignon I’ve had in a long time, perfectly cooked and seasoned. Desserts were tasty, everything was delicious! Plus, they did a nice job decorating for Valentine’s Day ❤️
We had the following:
Beet salad -- solid, not overly dressed
Gnochi appetizer -- good.
Seared scallops -- good
Baby back ribs -- very good.
Service was fair at best. The staff is considerate and professional but either there are not enough or their processes are not right. Gaps between salad, appetizer and entrees were on the long side and it was hard to get servers attention.
For the above food, 2 bloody orange martinis (one of their signature drinks) and 2 bourbon/water cocktails we paid about $170 including tip. I think that is too high, particularly considering the service.
The service was mediocre (very difficult time ordering some cappuccinos at the end of lunch) and I did not care for my chicken salad sandwich (too much mayonnaise and the chicken was smushed to a pulp). Also they sat us by the door, where their phone for reservations is, so it was noisy
Because of the great service and extraordinary food, I always feel so special when I go there. And I love the ambiance of this jewel of a full service restaurant.
We had reservations for a party of 6 on a Saturday. The restaurant was not even full, there was however 1 table at the back with a large party. Waited an hour for our food to come which would have been fine but the party of 2 next to us, who came later, was served first and even finished eating, without our food being delivered. They only had 2 servers working that time.
Food is excellent and service very good. Scallops perfectly cooked, coq au vin wonderful, linguine with crab excellent. Sadly noise level didn’t easily allow a conversation without lots of repeats. We sat in the front by the door and there were 2 tables of very loud guests nearby. Perhaps a table in the back room would be quieter. Complementary dessert (bread pudding) was delicious.
