A celebratory way to spend a couple of hours after being at the Chelsea Flower Show. Originally given table 13 which is by the door with a constant flow of customers almost engulfing the table. Fortunately were able to move to a quieter location.
Cute little place, but very over priced in my opinion. Food mostly tasted good.
Cupcake was cold as left in a fridge so it tasted abit dry.
Fresh Orange juice was tiny so I had to get another drink when I left
Go there if you want to tick it off your list, pretty looking place but not somewhere I would want to go again
Lovely staff and lovely food. Beautiful little parlour
Amazing!!!! Definitely will be returning in the future! Thank you
We loved it here! Incredible pancakes, the staff were really helpful, enthusiastic and accommodating to my 4 year old daughter who was THRILLED to be at the pink cafe. We will definitely be returning when we’re next in London, this place is so novel and so beautiful, well worth a visit.
I really wanted to go here for afternoon tea after seeing pictures online but I definitely wouldn’t recommend it to anyone else.
I wanted to check if I could change the time of our booking on the day and called the shop 15 times but no one answered (I called the other one and they answered right away but couldn’t help).
The shop was absolutely freezing, the girl said the door doesn’t close properly but it also felt like AC was blowing on us the whole time so we couldn’t wait to leave.
I ordered a hot chocolate with our afternoon tea and when it came it was lukewarm at best.
The visual merchandising and doorway are stunning but the whole experience was so disappointing and the afternoon tea was massively overpriced.
We were rushed out within one and a half hour. Wish we could stay longer, that would have been exceptional customer service to us.
When we arrived, the cafe looked amazing & really welcoming. We had ordered the vanilla cloud cake which was amazing because it was soo light and fluffy, so we really enjoyed that of the menu.
However we then decided to try their buttermilk pancakes which tasted solely of eggs which was disgusting and we sent it back straight away. We received NO refund as the supervisor stated “This is how they’re made and theres nothing else we can do. Sorry!” That was a disappointing end to our visit to the cafe, which is why i’ll be rating our experience at Peggy Porschen a 4/10.
Beautiful cakes fabulous service abs very friendly
The food was delightful and beyond my expectation. The place itself was very aesthetic. Would 100% visit again. Perfect place for a group of friends to hang out in. The staff was very friendly too.
After 2+years of listening to my daughter go on about here we booked for her 16th birthday treat . We travelled down from Derbyshire . We arrived a little early(10 minutes) for our booking . We were shown in to a little side room where the table wasn’t ready & the staff were pushing tables together & adding chairs . This was fine but did take the shine off the occasion . We were then given menus & after a while asked what we would like . I explained I was a little confused as we had booked Olivia Burton afternoon tea for 8 I thought . Our orders were taken .it was a very long winded process on an iPad . 6 Of the 8 drinks ordered were wrong . We had them anyway . Coffees were Luke warm . Tea flavours were wrong. Champagne choice was wrong . Sandwiches & cakes were very lovely . Despite everything staff were polite & nice other than 2 arguing over who another customer had left a tip for . May have been joking with each other but wasn’t pleasant to hear . Not really sure why on booking we were asked if it was for a special occasion as no gesture was given to my daughter who’s birthday it was . I thought every where today made the effort to put a candle in your bun or sandwich . As I’ve already said food & cakes were lovely but as whole the experience was a little disappointing. And then at the end a £36 surcharge was added to the bill . The service we received didn’t justify this . one gentleman was very friendly & helpful but can’t remember his name . He told us he was Spanish with French ,Arabic heritage .
I was disappointed that there was only one gluten free option available, this for me personally let the experience down and therefore I wouldn’t recommend you to friends/family and gluten free sites I’m a member of to visit. It’s a shame because other than that it was lovely for my non gluten free friends.
Everything about this restaurant was amazing! The food & the service was 5 star. Would definitely recommend this restaurant it was so beautiful and so amazing
We travelled from Milton Keynes especially. It was the best day out
Nice place to go with a daughter or friend. Not an everyday thing as it’s rather expensive. Staff are polite and attentive. Food is pleasant. The toilets are not what you would expect in an expensive tea shop in Belgravia. They urgently need up dating.
Great service, staff were all very helpful & attentive.. we loved our food as well! Can't wait to go back!
Recommended by friend to visit, so glad she did, truly amazing and worth the visit. Beautiful setting and very good service and food.
About my experience? Oh this is going to be long.
Well, I had a looooong day from night shift at the hospital and after a grueling day at work all I needed was to reward myself and relax, enjoy the afternoon good weather over my favorite food: a French Toast with a good cappuccino. So, I thought it was best to book a table outside of this pink restaurant.
Since I was on a long shift at the hospital, I was Not able to Finish eating my lunch bagel. After ordering my french toast and coffee, I requested for a plate and utensils so I can have the bagel (for savoury) that I saved from lunch while waiting for the sweet toast to arrive. The plate and utensils came and as I placed my little remaining bagel on the pink plate they provided, a lady was sent out to inform me that they do not allow “outside food” to be eaten in. OH MY GAWD I WAS OUTRAGED AND EMBARRASED!!! But I had to hold it in because I wanted to be respectful. I placed my bagel back in the crumpled paper bag, handed it to the lady so they can dispose of it.
I did not see any polite notice about not having an “outside food” around. If I’ve only known about this policy, I would not have come, really.
From then on, it just ruined everything!!! I wasn’t feeling relaxed anymore. I did not have the same appetite, I didn’t enjoy the OVERPRICED £15 French Toast and the ordinary £3.50 oat cappuccino. I wished I cancelled my order the minute they told me off. Or better yet, I wished I didn’t come at all.
Just terrible! I don’t think I’ll ever be back in this restaurant. It is simply NOT WORTH IT. I think I can have a better experience with an overpriced french toast somewhere else.
Dear Mezmira, Many thanks for choosing to visit Belgravia Parlour and for sharing your experience. We're very sorry indeed to hear how you felt, especially after a long night shift. I’m afraid that our waiting team is correct, and we are unable to permit external food or drink to be consumed on-site. We're not licensed to operate in this way, therefore do not have appropriate health & hygiene measures to cover. We do hope that you decide to visit us again in the future. Best Wishes Silvia
The overall ambience is quiet pretty but the food is very basic. I ordered the avocado benedict, the bread was so hard that it took me so much time and strength to cut it. I would recommend the place only for its decor and looks, food is not great.
Really lovely to have breakfast sat outside Peggy Porshen good food friendly staff. We Really enjoyed the experience
Fabulous and helpful staff and amazing food and drinks. Such a great place for lunch, coffees and afternoon tea. The scones were delicious.
Wonderful service, food excellent and staff could not have been more helpful. Beautiful location/ambience.
Lovely place for some lunch or cake & tea. Highly recommend.
We had a lovely time thank you enjoyed our coffee and cup cakes
Food came different times and cold. Service was also extremely slow
Many thanks you for taking the time to share your comments. It is our greatest concern to maintain the highest standard of customer experience across all areas of our offering, and we are very sorry to hear that we did not meet expectations when you visited. We are working with the team to investigate your feedback. We do hope you decide to visit us again. Best Wishes Silvia
Myself and my husband came here for breakfast while we were staying a short walk away. And it was delicious. One of the best hit chocolates I’ve had. They had lovely cakes on display too!
Amazing food amazing buns. Lovely friendly staff and tasty poached eggs and bacon. Would def go back! The coffee is great to.
Absolutely excellent service, couldn’t be more helpful , children loved it only complaint scones could have been a bit fresher ! Thank you so much
Had the pancakes whilst my friend had the eggs Benedict with Wiltshire ham, both were lovely. Also had some pink fizz to accompany which was very good. The cafe looked amazing! Would highly recommend.
Beautiful place with very friendly attentive staff.
Excellent!! Can’t fault anything thank you very much for a lovely time.
Beautiful decor and food. Man who greeted us was incredibly rude and told us off sharply for being 5 mins late. We were stuck in traffic and called 5 times to make them aware but no on e answered the phone.
We were in a little tiny room off the parlour and could have been anywhere.
The waitresses were trying so hard to be nice and attentive but in all honesty it was over the top.
We would 💯 recommend the food but the customer service needs some polishing
Dear Nicky, Thank you visiting us and for sharing your feedback. We’re very sorry to hear that your experience was let down. Our Belgravia Parlour is a boutique location and it has a bustling cafe atmosphere. Our internal space is limited but we are pleased to have recently refurbished our Elizabeth Room, to provide further dining space. We will investigate your comments regarding the team and hope you return to enjoy a future visit, maybe trying our larger Chelsea Parlour. Best Wishes Silvia
The most magical and beautiful dining experience I've ever had! My mom and I visited the morning of my 20th birthday yesterday and the staff were so sweet and wished me happy birthday whenever they saw me. I got the brioche French toast and it was incredible, and my mom adored her buttermilk pancakes. We both had a glass of the sparkling rosé and it just was the cherry on top of the beautiful pink cake! We also got dessert to go and thoroughly enjoyed the chocolate heaven cupcakes. I will definitely be coming back (probably sooner than I should, both my wallet and waistline may protest) and I highly recommend a visit to anyone in London.
Food and drink very good and reasonably priced. The ambience and noise level very pleasant. Service however was not so good. Have contacted the venue directly to give them the opportunity to respond rather than post here.
Dear Justina, Thank you for sharing your feedback. I replied directly to your email as soon as went back into the office this morning. We have a highly passionate team and it is our greatest concern to maintain the highest standard of customer experience across all areas of our offering. I'm sure that if a table was free, they would have accommodated you earlier than your reservation time. However, I'm glad that you enjoy your cakes and drinks. I hope you will visit us again. Best Wishes Silvia
A lovely gem in Belgravia, did enjoy our coffee and cakes. Would have liked to see a few more vegan options on the menu as they had run out of one of the two vegan cakes so not left with a lot of choice. Otherwise the décor and presentation of the food was very good and an enjoyable experience.
Food was nice and the experience, however tables were a little too small for my liking as tables for 2 were the same for tables for 3. Staff are incredibly helpful and smiley! Overall lovely experience
Pretty! Definitely an insta worthy venue. We stopped off for a quick tea and cake break and the place did not disappoint. Service could’ve been better as the waitress forgot my order but overall it was a great experience. Look forward to visiting the Chelsea cafe on my next visit :)
Beautiful cafe, Great atmosphere! The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The food was very well presented. Very efficient service. Expensive but worth it and will definitely go again.
lovely cakes and great service, only problem they delivered the wrong cake but didn't have to pay for it so happy days.
This place is amazing . So pretty on the outside & inside. Special breakfast treat for daughters 16th Birthday. 5 star food, 5 star service . Fabulous! Will definitely be back. Thankyou for such a lovely time.
