    We asked to have our oysters steamed or grilled since they did this another time. The chef declined but then the table next to us had grilled oysters. Then we ordered the mussels and after 20 min they told us they ran out. Our waiter was great and apologetic. He also took care of our drinks. This use to be one of my favorite restaurants at the domain. I was disappointed but I will try them again.

    We had the hushpuppies with jalapeño jam to start and they were delicious. I had the redfish and it was also very good. Drinks and service were good as well. Will definitely be back.

    First off- the food was amazing! Had the This clam chowder- mmmm great for the holidays, and The Brussel sprouts, and the red fish. all really good and perfectly prepared. It was a little on the noisy side- we were there at 7:30, so better for celebrations.

    Fantastic dining experience all around. Superior service, food and attention to detail. Personalized attention by the GM Austin put it over the top. My wife and I highly recommend Plank for an enjoyable evening.

    We dined at Plank in the Domain after a "shopping afternoon" on a Friday. It was a decent meal. We really wanted it to be great. As usual, we showed up for happy hour, and then mostly ordered off of the regular menu. HINT: happy hour is not that great of a deal at Plank, nominal savings on most things. DO NOT treat Plank as a "happy hour go to" for great deals... minimal savings on the things you really want. Treat it as a full fare restaurant any time you're there. It's a chain seafood restaurant, nothing "spectacular" that you'd expect from a truly "local" restaurant. High points: The house margarita is made with only orange and lime juice, better with tajin on the rim! Shrimp toast and the Golden Beets salad were good, but not "you gotta get this" quality. We've had better beet salads. We had a bottle of Selena pinot gris which was delicious, on point, and served at the right temperature (we took the leftovers home!). Low points: The oysters are average, all East Coast... which we do not understand when we have monster-sized delicious Gulf oysters everywhere in town (HINT: again, chain restaurants don't understand we have GREAT oysters here... CHEAP!). The "uppity crowd" may demand PEI oysters (any East Coast), they pale in comparison to "our" awesome local oysters! The special of the day was grilled sole, the fish was great! The bed of broccolini on which the fish was served was severely undercooked, virtually inedible... a big miss there. The lemon tart dessert was OK, served chilled... the filling was tasty, the crust reminded us of pre-made bad pie crusts. Make the crust fresh, it's not that hard! Finally, a word about ambiance and service... cool place, decor fun and nautical. Service not that great, slow most of the time, and dirty dishes left on the table for way too long (it was not busy or crowded when we were there!). Bottom line, not a "go to" for us. For the prices and the location, you have to do a lot better to retain customers.

    Great team lunch for 11 people, was pretty open seating for 1pm on a Monday. Everyone enjoyed it!

    The food and service was excellent/ superior/ awesome!! We had red fish, salmon, flounder, ahi and a burger! Totally accommodated a 5year old with a smorgasbord of fries chicken tenders fruit Gummies tangerine yogurt and lemonade!! Family celebration of birthdays and the deserts were perfect!

    The menu needs to be revamped. The past couple of times the food has been mediocre. We love the oysters and salmon crudo appetizer but the main courses fall short. We had the shrimp, salmon caesar salad and ribeye. We were told the Atlantic salmon is also farmed, just fyi.

    Way overpriced for what you get. Oysters at $4 each seems too high to me. $48 for a dozen? The redfish was dry. The salmon was better. Not sure I would eat here again.

    We dined for an anniversary dinner with friends, only to be asked and told to leave the restaurant so the section we were in could accommodate a party of 20. We asked if we could have another table, brought to the table, then told sorry that table has a reservation. Mind you, we had reservations to start the dinner. We then we’re asked to sit at the bar. While the food was great, service was inexcusable.

    Food was great, but the slightly dirty martinis I ordered were rough. I drank the first one even though there was so much brine. When the second one arrived it was yellow, and I couldn’t drink it. But apart from that, our server was fantastic, and the food was excellent albeit pretty expensive for such small portions. ($13 for a side Caesar?!)

    Plank had a nice happy hour menu, though with very limited wine selection. The food was fresh and well prepared. The service was prompt and attentive. Noise level got quite high as the restaurant filled up. Definitely a decent option for dining at the Domain.

    Trendy-sounding ingredients, lengthy item descriptions, and "fancy" presentations did not offset the use of too much fat and salt and lack of actual flavor in the food itself. My redfish at $38 was small, overcooked, and drenched in brown butter, completely overwhelming the flavor and texture of the fish. Putting it on top of a few broccolini and fingerling potatoes did not redeem this dish. The other dishes I tasted (shrimp & grits, seared tuna) were similarly way too greasy and salty. For the prices, the service was rushed and careless -- for example, a plastic-covered dessert menu was tossed, unbidden, in the middle of the table before the party had even finished their entrees. We did not try any of their "raw bar" oysters, so maybe we missed out on what they do best here.

    Lovely experience. I went for a lunch date and the food was great and so was the aesthetic. It’s very cute, not super fancy, but great for a lunch date. Would definitely go again.

    Food was amazing as usual. Love the oysters and crab pasta. It made the experience even more fabulous to have fun visiting with the manager Austin and one of our fav waiters Stratton. Our server, Anya(?sp), was helpful, efficient, and took great care of us.

    The restaurant was closed and we were not notified until after we arrived for our reservation. There was a sign on the door saying closed. About 10 minutes after our reservation time passed, we received a text saying the restaurant was closed. Very disappointing.
