Everything was fantastic. The ambiance was great. The staff was exceptional with their great service. The food was delicious and it’s fresh from farms right here in California. I love that.

We had high expectations due to Michelin guide review, and were not disappointed in the setting, service or menu. Cocktails were original, and service was excellent. Wine list was nice. The food was just ok - most was over-engineered and complicated to the point of losing the flavours. The octopus was lost in chili oil and beans, the duck breast smoked to an almost rubbery texture and served with a salad so heavy with mint, cilantro and other herbs so as to overshadow the duck altogether. For the most part, everything was a bit heavy handed. The outstanding dish was the mushrooms - which were delicious and well prepared. I’d not go back, for the price.

Had reservations and got sat immediately. We waited 10 minutes at our table and nobody came to greet us or even serve us, I had to go get a waitress. This is not a good look when I have guests from another state visiting! And to top it off the food came out before our drinks. Overall food and drinks are great but service definitely needs work!

My husband &I were very excited for this place but kind of disappointing. We arrived early to get a drink and snack on some olives at the bar but the hostess said we could just be seated early. Our waitress insisted on us ordering all the courses at once so she could course our meal for us, even though I asked to order them separately. I wanted to snack on olives while we had a drink before we ordered everything but we were not able to do that. We were not even halfway through our appetizer when the waitress brought out my pasta. By the time I was able to eat the tortelloni it was cold and hardened. I do not understand why they would bring out a hot dish when we were still very much working on the app. Other than that, the tartare was excellent. Tortelloni was dry (granted I had to eat it cold). Cocktails were good. Ambience was beautiful! I wish they would let you order as you go. We definitely would have ordered more items.

We tried the tasting menu and loved that they were able to modify to accommodate my gluten allergy. The items on the tasting menu were hit or miss. The crudo and the scallop were fantastic, while the steak tartar and the squash blossom were severely under seasoned and bland. Everything else was average. The menu had so much promise but sadly underdelivered! The service was also spotty. Our waiter tried hard and was very pleasant but there were long periods of inattention. For a $435 check for 2 people this experience was not worth it.

Excellent date night spot. Amazing menu with seasonal changes. I would recommend utilizing uber for this spot as parking can be difficult.

We had a great first experience here at Poooy & Seed. Delicious appetizers and mains. Loved the cute spot and garden. Good service. Fun drinks. Bone marrow and ceviche appetizers were delicious. Looking forward to our next visit. Parking in the area is rough so plan accordingly.
