Small menu but enjoyed our meals. Service was great.
Three people had the chicken mushroom pasta and absolutely loved it, I had the Pasta Bolognese and it was incredible! Cant wait to go back for more. The wintertime menu is minimized but still really great!
Our server was fantastic. I believe his name was Andrew. The trout special, the chili and the chicken pasta dish were ordered and each of us thought the food had great flavour, served warm and was just the right size portions. My salad could have used a bit more dressing but that is being picky. We definitely will return and recommend your place for sure. Thanks for a great meal. The Parson Family
Small portions and sandwiches have very little filling ... mostly bread.
Salmon dinner excellent, Calamari very good, salads good
Overall, the locals think the ambiance is really nice. Food portions small and very good but for the price they could be better.
Perhaps the winter menu might better suit the local traffic with more hearty meals.
Awesome spot; delicious lunch overlooking the locks in Port Carling. Sit outside on the patio.
Loved the outdoor patio location with outdoor heaters and blankets in September. Waiter was charming. Food was very good. Menu selection is not huge but we found something to suit everyone in our group of 4. Prices were reasonable. Would definitely stop by again if we were in the area.
Very tasty and good quality food. Recommend it highly.
The ambience of the restaurant was disappointing. It seemed very “blah” and there was no dinner music of any sorts. It lacked appeal for sure. Otherwise, the food and service was great.
This is a real gem in Muskoka. They have 3 different seating areas (indoor, covered patio and uncovered patio) which all overlook the locks at Port Carling. You can arrive by car or boat and then go for a nice walk through the park along the lake after. The food is seasonal and nicely presented, good portions, rich flavour and the staff are passionate and happy to help. I am a salt lover, and I didn't even think to request the salt as the flavours in the food was enough to satisfy me! Our fabluous waiter even brought me a blanket as it started to rain and I wanted to sit on the covered patio and watch the storm while we ate. Will be back!
Very friendly staff and a pleasant location overlooking the locks in Port Carling. We shared the falafel and hummus which were very good except the pita was dry and there was not enough. My wife had the tuna poke - which was quite good - fresh and tasty. I had the sausage with rapini - the pasta was under-cooked and the sausage was incredibly salty. We would go back based on the service and to try some of the other menu items - the trout looked amazing; however, they were sold out.
Lovely view of the river and locks!
Very relaxing atmosphere and the service was excellent!
We’ll be back!
Great location but food was mediocre and price was high for what was delivered.
Staff and good were amazing! Thank you Rachel and Joe.
The service was great, as was the food. Ambiance on the veranda overlooking the locks was lovely. Interior feels a bit sterile so probably wouldn’t want to dine inside. Overall a nice experience and will certainly return.
Good food, great waitress. Would return. Thanks for the nice evening.
Ok. Not great. Slow service. Food mediocre.
Food was amazing! Beautiful back patio overlooking the locks.
Just a great local place to eat!!
We Always recommend Portside fusion.
The food is consistently delicious.
Great food with some unique tasting profiles. Beautiful deck and view. A delightful evening with our engaging server. We will definitely be back in the future. For a new place it was very busy which speaks volumes as we were there on a Wednesday.
We’ve been there several times and are never disappointed. we even try something new each time and the food is always amazing.
I booked for outside and they placed us inside. We saw tables available and they refused to change our seating even though we booked outside. We were told that if we wanted a better view that we should have said so when we booked with open table. Since this was our first time there, they should have been more accommodating. The service was very poor. Not once did they come around to fill water glasses. I had to keep asking or trying to get there attention to get my glass filled. Food was okay. Prices were quite high for a casual dining restaurant.
Visiting Muskoka for the first time. Even though our property had a restaurant we enjoyed dining here for lunch and dinner. Enjoyed the trout immensely and loved the pasta with rapini and sausage. Next time we our staying in Muskoka we will definitely come back.
A definite place to dine when visiting Muskoka
delivery of food was very slow, server was friendly and apologetic . pasta was delicious. would go back...
Food was incredible. Very kind attentive staff. Will be returning.
Thank you for a fine evening of dining on your deck overlooking the river. The dinner, wine and service were all terrific and I am looking forward to my next visit. Gail Anderson
All in all enjoyable night.
Everything moves to slow, drinks were 20 minutes after ordering , ordered 2nd round of drinks as first ones were dropped, another 25 minutes
Apps were good and on time, dinner was 1 hour wait after apps.
Very nice staff, no present of owner/management
A disappointing experience. Waiter was too busy trying to push drink sales and up-selling. Food was ok at best. Portions were small and overpriced. Was there to celebrate my bday, left without even having dessert. Ambience was nice, but overshadowed by poor service and overall disappointing experience.
Lovely to be on patio looking over the locks. The shrimp penne was excellent as was the beet salad.
A most enjoyable evening.
Great atmosphere, fantastic view and delicious meal. it was a great experience and a wonderful time!
Very good quality location and service
My husband and I both had a pasta dish and it was delicious. Our appetizers were also very goo.
Nothing special for the prices. My lamb sliders had dry bread... and nothing else on the plate. House white was 18$ a glass
We were in Port Carling celebrating our anniversary. Our dinner at Portside Fusion was perfect! The setting on the patio was lovely, the waiter (Conrad) was excellent and the food was delicious! We would definitely go back there and would definitely recommend it to anyone!

The food was terrific.
