Service was great, waiter was helpful with recommendations for appetizers, dessert and drinks. Because it was our first time there, we decided to order a bunch of the small plates in order to try a bunch of different things. The octopus was so good we ordered a second dish of it, apple salad, artichokes, and brussel sprouts were all worth ordering too. Definitely leave room for dessert. The pumpkin cheesecake was served with a crumble and cinnamon whipped cream, it was one of the best cheesecakes I’ve ever had!
Highly recommend eating here.
Delicious food and great service. Will definitely return.
This was my first visit to the restaurant and I was so very impressed from my first step into the place. I liked the modern, open, industrial feel of the restaurant. Our server,Julie, was wonderful! She knew the drink and food menu inside out and was able to answer any question we posed. Her recommendations were spot on and our drinks and food orders were not a disappointment. The menu was very tempting with interesting options and preparations. The popovers were light and airy and the fish options were cooked perfectly!
Well done Prescott Provision! Cannot wait to return!
We had a tremendous evening. The food was excellent as was the service. Definitely coming back! The pumpkin ravioli I had was excellent as were our appetizers.
My new favorite restaurant! Awesome cocktails, great staff - never disappointed!
We had such an amazing experience. The food was outstanding and our waiter was phenomenal! Such a wonderful experience. We can’t wait to go back.
Food quality and presentation are outstanding. Have enjoyed dining here on several occasions and each time superb experience.
Server was very friendly and attentive but not overbearing. Food was amazing. I had the Long Island fluke and my daughter had the lamb. Both were cooked perfectly (and delicious).
First time there and totally exceeded our expectations. Drinks, food, service all top notch. Friendly and not pretentious. Nice lighting and comfortable atmosphere.
Beautiful restaurant with interesting menu and great cocktails. It’s truly a gem in Tonawanda. Our server was nice, but honestly not as attentive as I’d hope for. I really wanted a glass of wine with the pasta course and the food runner who dropped it off didn’t offer another drink and ended up not seeing our server until we had finished. We also waited probably 15 min to pay after our check had been delivered. These were minor issues and did not by any means ruin the evening, but just things I noticed. I do have to mention the server helping the table next to us, because she handled a difficult costumer with amazing professionalism. This man was belligerent and couldn’t stop yelling how much he enjoyed the restaurant, which is great other than the fact he was oblivious to the fact he was bothering other tables. Especially when he interrupted another couples dinner to loudly tell them how great of a meal he had, this server very calmly got him back in his seat and diffused the situation. I really can’t wait to come back and try more off the menu, keep up the great work.
Food was ok. The menu is trying to be fancy with the combinations. Lots of wine choices very few beer choices. Desert menu was lacking. Cost did not equal what we received.
Consistently amazing place. Great service (veterans, not airhead kids), great food, cool ambiance - neat to be able to watch your food cooked.
Try the Waygu steak - to die for!
We have been there twice now and each time was a great experience. The food was excellent, and our waiter, John, who we had both times is great. He is very efficient and polite. It can be a little loud, but I guess it depends who’s sitting at the next table. We look forward to going back.
As always, we had a wonderful experience. This is my favorite restaurant in Buffalo!
Food was outstanding! Service was good once we got waited on. It took quite some time for anyone to come over to our table. It seemed most of the wait staff went out of their way to avoid making eye contact with us! However, our server once he came over (perhaps there was confusion as to who was assigned our table) was very good and attentive. Overall we were very pleased with the experience (after the initial hiccup!)
Definitely would go again but will ask to be seated away from the kitchens fluorescent lights, way too bright .... food and service were excellent
Everything was excellent. The food was fantastic and so was our waiter. His timing was impeccable and he was not intrusive. He was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He recommended a couple of starters that were amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant. Great food and ambiance
Open and bright space; worth the trip even if it’s not close to where you live. The pumpkin ravioli is -seriously- the single best dish we have ever tasted.
Fabulous food great service wonderful dessert. Could use some soft surfaces to absorb some of the noise other than that it’s an excellent dining experience.
The food was delicious, the service was excellent. It is fairly noisy but we enjoyed our dining experience very much.
Great food and great service! Loved it!!!!
So thrilled with this restaurant. It’s relatively new but WOW! Creative, well-executed preparations. That were also nice to look at. Well done team!!!! Can’t wait to get back there!!!
Absolutely excellent. The lg plates have the perfect amount of innovation. We are real food snobs and this was one of our top 5 meals this year 😍😍
My boyfriend and I had come here for restaurant week and we were both blown away by absolutely everything. The atmosphere was causal, charming and welcoming; seeing the clean, well organized and open kitchen was a great experience and the service was top notch. My boyfriend (a very picky eater) ordered a wood-fired pizza and said it was better than the wood-fired we had in Italy. (Being a picky eater, he is an EXPERT in pizza!) I ordered the pork chop and pork belly, that was SO buttery and SO delicious I could have eaten it for my first dinner, second dinner and third dinner. Which brings me to dessert: the chocolate terrine was remarkable. My boyfriend doesn't care for chocolate, and he ate MORE than his half of our dessert. If that's not saying something, I don't know what is. This is a win-win for couples/friends that are picky eaters and foodies. Well done, Prescott's Provisions. We'll be back!
Great service, food have some unusual texture and taste.. the event was enjoyable and we will return
It was busy being restaurant week, yet we didn’t wait long for our food and the service was excellent! Our waiter was attentive and helpful and the food was great! I would certainly recommend it.
It was Restaurant Week so I was not expecting much, however, it was great. We sat at the bar for a drink and then on the outside patio with heaters. The service was good (Rebecca) our waitress and food was good quality. Had salmon which was very flavorful and the pork chop was good too.
It was our first time there. But definitely not our last time. We were pleasantly surprised and there were do many menu items we wanted to try we will be back soon
Food great. Salmon cooked exactly how we love it. Brussels sprouts were excellent. Waiter was efficient and personable, service was top shelf. However noise level was difficult to overcome, hard to have a conversation. Overall a good value on Restaurant Week.
We have been there several times and the service, food and ambiance is excellent. We highly recommend this restaurant.
Definitely one of the best restaurants in WNY.This was my wife and I second time eating there. Our waitress Julie was very good,it was a pleasure having her serve us.
The food was delicious as well as the presentation. We split three starters,Brussels,Cauliflower and this amazing dish with apples and yogurt. My wife had the special, which was a sirloin cooked to perfection.I had the succulent scallops. For desert I had the Pumpkin cheesecake, which just melted in my mouth. We shall be returning on our next date night.
Great service, fun cocktail specials, dessert to die for! We got two appetizers and two pizzas. Crust was delicious and toppings were perfect. Highly recommend!
This was our second visit, the food was great as usual but our server Rachel was rude. I don't normally complain ever but any question we asked her seemed like an annoyance. Then to top it off she charged our credit card for the wrong amount.
Our bill came to $66 and she took our card and charged $103 that was supposed to be someone else's check. She didn't even apologize and proceeded to charge the correct amount after voiding the $103 charge. So now we have $170 outstanding charges from your restaurant because of a careless error on her part.
ALL of this would have been over looked if she wasn't so cold and rude. The food was amazing, we love coming this but her poor attitude ruined the night.
Amazing, every time! Quality has remained high, each of the 5-6 times I've been there. One of the best restaurants in the Buffalo area for sure!
Food was very good but the selection is fairly small. Good wine selection. Overall, very nice place
Only couple in the restaurant who where ordering food. We ordered an appetizer and was told by the waitress that the chef our dinner choice at the same time so he could keep up with orders. We refused and said look around we are the only ones eating. Everyone else were just having cocktails at the bar. We ate and paid for our appetizer and elsewhere for our dinner.
Food and service were excellent.
However the noise level in the main dining area was extremely loud!
Hard to have conversation.
Would definitely come back... May try the patio before it closes for the winter.
Our dining experience was fantastic on every point-from the moment we checked in, immediately received fresh water, waitress promptly came to table, drinks came ASAP and our food was delivered at just the right time-every bite was delicious. A special touch at end of dinner-French Pressed Coffee-awesome. The owner even stopped by our table to chat. Kudos to the entire staff at Prescott's Provisions. Their Buffalo News Gusto Rating of 10 is well deserved.
I rarely write reviews about my dining experiences but this had to be shared. This is now one of my favorite restaurants in Buffalo. From the drinks to the service to the food, everything was perfect. We had the fried cauliflower & brussel sprouts to start and both were good size portions and delicious. I had the burrata and added tomatoes (highly recommend) and it was the most flavorful burrata. The gem salad reminded me of a cesar but without the think cream and a little more on the citrus side. For our dinner we had the mushroom pizza, salmon, monkfish & scallops. All of which were very tasty and good sizes. As for the drinks we had the Siesta which was a little on the tart side but very refreshing and the southside with vodka which was awesome. Our server Johnny also mentioned they make a mean old fashioned... and he was very right. it was the best old fashioned I've had. Overall it was a truly great experience and we will definitely be back!
a great experience every time I visit. Food is consistently VERY GOOD
