The food was completely fantastic, inventive flavors beautifully plated. Oysters with cucumber horseradish foam were great and the hamachi was a show stopper. Very pretty location despite having to be outside

I loved this restaurant so much- incredible food and warm, friendly, stellar service. Not an inexpensive venture BUT...,,the kind of place where you go to indulge a little....go to enjoy the “A Level Quality” ....and.....all without one ounce of regret. In fact, it will become a “must have” kind of favorite.

We love this place. It's our favorite restaurant that we visit every time we're in town. It's a little over priced. I love risotto but I'm not going to spend $100 on it 😳. But the service, food and drinks are awesome. And it's such a beautiful place!

Spectacular experience. The staff is warm, inviting and very attentive. The food is out of this world. We felt there were extra measures taken throughout our time there to truly make it special. The gnudi melts in your mouth and the salmon had been one of the best preparations I’ve ever had. Great experience.

Our server was rude and it took forever to get our food.
This was our anniversary weekend that we chose to finish off at PRESS. Before that we went to Joseph Phelps Vineyards and PRESS was just as incredible. Our waiter Eric was most attentive to us throughout the entire evening and the sommelier Andrew was exceptionally helpful in providing us with good wine and even bringing me a selection that I didn't not choose initially but better fit what I told him I wanted.
And eating outside in the middle of the fall in the evening was magnificent because with their standing quiet heaters we weren't freezing! Very comfortable warm temperature.
Thank you to everyone for helping to make this special evening for us an enjoyable one!

We enjoyed the oysters with horseradish mousse and thinly sliced cucumbers. The presentation of the panna cotta was impressive and it was very delicious as well. The lobster roll was served in a brioche bowl and had a good flavor. The hot Nashville chicken sandwich was certainly tasty. The staff was attentive and friendly. The ambience was perfect as we were settled in between the trees in the outside dining area. It was an amazing experience!

We always enjoy the Press. Even having to dine outside (it was 50 degrees) it was still an enjoyable experience with great food and wine. Always awesome service!
Would have preferred to sit on the back patio instead of the front patio due to noise from hwy 29, but that was only a small annoyance. The music helped and once Friday traffic died down we didn’t even notice it anymore. Back patio has better ambiance IMO. But hey, can’t be picky during a Pandemic.

Despite the Covid lockdown I had one of the best dinning experiences in recent memory.

Literally the worst restaurant experience of my life. Had a reservation, it was the first day of outdoor dining only. Server walked us by several really nice tables under trees wrapped in Xmas lights and led us to the last table in the back up against a wall. The worst table in the place. Seemed surprised when we wouldn't sit there. Next we were seated next to a falling down drunk girl - maybe 22 or 23. She was loud and yelling racial epithets - I hate white people, I hate white privilege, all white people are white supremecists. I am not kidding and I am not exaggerating one bit. Restaurant staff did nothing. Asked her to keep her voice down. She was clearly falling down drunk and still using racial epithets while speaking to the manager and they did nothing.
We walked out. I will never go there again.

Fabulous food - everything was superb. The only issue we had is that we were dining outside and I am very picky about this - there was a large table of about 8 loud people, who seemed to be a party and not a Covid pod. They were way too close to one another without masks on and it didn't feel good to be as close as we were to their table. I think that it is important for restaurants to limit the number of people at a table during these times because chatter can get very loud and animated, which can feel unsafe to others.

Food took forever. 45 minutes for a soup. Kitchen was moving at a snails pace. For 4 dishes it took 3 hours. Unacceptable.

We had great service. Our lunch was very good. We asked about the chicken sandwich and the chef came out and explained the flavors. That was so personable. We will come back again.
