Primal Cut Steakhouse
Seriously, everyone..I mean everyone - from the bus boy to the hostess- was super fun, thoughtful, genuine and made for an exceptional night of laughter and friendship. Everyone's food was cooked to perfection and delicious.
Everything high quality. We we definitely be back!
The food was flavorful but warm not hot. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very nice
Great food & great service. Most importantly its on the Southside so you don’t have to go into Chicago to enjoy a first class steakhouse.
My wife had the bone-in NY strip and she was not pleased with the amount of fat in the steak. It has an abnormal amount of fat in the steak. I had the bone-in Ribeye and it was pretty good although mine did have fat around the edges. Overall we had a good experience and willing to try it again.
The meal was outstanding! Service was very personable.
Great experience. I had the Blackened Cowboy ribeye and Lobster tail. My date had King crab legs and Lobster mac and cheese. Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection. Drinks were a decent pour for the price. The meal was pricey but worth it. I will be back soon.
Good food and great service but it’s very loud in there and so dark we had to use the light on our phones to read the menu.
Husband birthday it was nice liked that it was in the area
Our steak had to be sent back because it was undercooked. For that price there should not be issues. I don't mind paying for a good meal but $7 for broccoli and $4 for mushrooms is a bit excessive. The service was great but for the overall price there are better options in the area. Sorry
Second time that we've been here and everything was delicious!
Delicious food, portions are generous! It was a bit loud, on a weekend night. Will be back!
Highly reccomend Primal Cut. My husband and I have been celebrating our anniversary there the last 3 years and the service is always outstanding! We rarely have to wait and if we do, by the time we receive our drinks at the bar our table is ready. The steaks are always done perfectly and the crab bisque is delicious! As always, we end our night with a fabulous old fashioned. We will definitely be returning!
I have been to several steakhouses in Chicago, but Primal Cut in Tinley Park was the best I have ever experienced. Food and service were incredible and the manager extremely nice. Well worth the drive. Highly recommend.
We dined at Primal Cut for our anniversary. It was absolutely amazing. From the fresh warm bread, the salad with delicious garlic Parmesan dressing and finally to the melt in your mouth steak. We both ordered the 8 oz filet-medium. It was cooked and seasoned perfectly. I ordered the au gratin potatoes while my husband ordered the garlic mashed. The waiter called mine cheesy heaven and they were just that. We did not have dessert though I’ve heard it is also to die for. We had the steak the next day and I was able to cut it with a butter knife—it’s just that tender. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Always fantastic! My husband and I love this place and often times choose it over going to the city for a nice romantic dinner.
First time going to this restaurant. Looked for steakhouses in the south suburbs and picked this place, i could not be happier. Food was awesome.Me and my wife had the bone in rib eye which was cooked perfectly and was a quality steak. $1 oysters on Thursdays and my waitress was very attentive and knowledgeable. Will be going back soon.
We were very pleasantly surprised with this restaurant. the food was excellent and the ambience was very nice. I would most definitely recommend this to friends. As a matter of fact, some out of town friends have made reservations for December 22nd in the name of Pechukas.
My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary which so happened to also be Sweetest day. We had the crab stuffed mushrooms, crab bisque, we both had the filet. I had asparagus and my husband had the lobster mac and cheese. Everything was outstanding. The service was great. The only issue is that it was an almost 3 hour dinner for just the 2 of us. Our appetizer was stolen by a different server so we had to wait for another to be prepared. There was to much time in between courses. I do not believe it was the servers fault. He was pretty attentive. Overall we enjoyed our dinner.
We celebrated Sweetest Day as firt times. The experience was phenomenal from the food to the service
Great food. Great atmosphere. Our server Adam was awesome!!!
We waited over an hour for our steaks. I understand there were several big parties but for the cost that’s ridiculous. We had a gift card which was why we tried it because we had heard mixed reviews. We won’t be going back.
Awesome experience at Primal Cut as usual!! It’s our favorite restaurant to hit for date night!! The staff always remembers us (we got engaged here) so we always get great service!! Food was amazing as always!!
The waiter seemed preoccupied maybe it was his first day? He didn’t give us specials or ask if we were celebrating anything? It was my husband’s 40th birthday and the meal was only ok...his truffle mashed potatoes were cold and no dessert menu was offered. We love this restaurant and have had great experiences in the past. This time was a little disappointing...
One of my favorite places to eat! Wonderful staff, great food, and very clean!
Great steaks chops and seafood. Cooked to perfection. Sides feed 2.
Our server was very friendly and attentive. Patricia definitely made the experience a pleasant one. Had a wonderful birthday dinner.
Way too loud the servers had to yell to even talk to us. We didnt e en stay to eat so I just gave the food 5 stars. I'm sure the food was good but the environment was loud and awful.
Just so-so. The steak was definitely not the star of the show. And any steakhouse should make excellent cocktails. The old fashioned and manhattan were both sub-par. Ambiance is great -- nice-looking place. Probably won't be back.
Great place to celebrate a special occasion!
Service was excellent. Steak was great but the lobster was over cooked , kind of rubbery.
I’ll come back just won’t waste my money on surf and turf
Three of us dined there on 10/9/19. This is located in the former Bogarts restaurant in downtown Tinley building but all redone and pretty inside. The bar is very nice. My ONLY complaint is the darkness. It was SO DARK inside. If they turned up the lights just a smidge they would still have the ambiance they are going for but you may be able to SEE people and the menu. Honestly very dark, too dark. Maybe just that one night, not sure. They have amazing wine and food specials Monday through Thursday like free wine, half-price wine, food specials. My filet was perfected medium rare and was delicious. Overall nice place! Just dark. I should have said something to the manager; maybe someone just turned the lights down too low???!
Food was quite tasty; I had a filet that was delicious.
The waitress did not give use hear full attention. I had to stop the waitress to order drinks.
Really like this place! Great steaks, chops, potato sides. Our waiter Michelle excellent!
The ambience and service were exceptional. The $48 22oz ribeye was cooked (med rare) as requested but was a very tough cut for a rib eye.
Had a 5:00 reservation on Friday to avoid the crowds. Got seated right away at a booth in the bar. They offer nice privacy and are comfortable. The bartender/server was great-frequently checking on us and offering input when asked. Enjoyed the cajun scallops as an appetizer-cooked well with a nice spice. The crab bisque was delicious and hot with a good amount of crab. Salad presented beautifully with great blue cheese dressing. Trio medallions cooked perfect with the au gratin potatoes which are sinfully good-rich and large enough for at least two. Crab stuffed shrimp were a little overcooked but still had good flavor.
The wine list is broad with some really nice offerings but be prepared to get a bottle as there's limited 'by the glass' choices.
A neighborhood gem for the south suburbs!
The service was very good. Food had too much salt. Steaks were average but seemed salty. Crab soup was very creamy but too salty and had very little crab in it. Salad was very fresh but on the small side. Scallop appetizer had only 3 scallops on it. They were blackened , tasted ok but had too much salt. Dinner would have been better with less salt on almost everything.
Our server was super; considerate and efficient with a warm sense of humor. She made our dining experience excellent.
The description of the food was inaccurate and my husband ordered Medium Well steak and after waiting for an hour it came out Rare. I don’t think the cost of ONE crab cake for an appetizer is worth $13. Do not recommend.
Absolutely Amazing Meal & Atmosphere for a Romantic Dinner
