Pt Leo Restaurant
Amazing food and wine backed up by great staff
Always enjoy dining at Pt Leo restaurant. Service by Cam was informative & entertaining :)
Having the sculpture park afterwards to walk around to enjoy & digest our lovely meal is always a bonus.
See you again!
Exceptional food, great location. Unfortunately our mains came out late and the staff did not give us an indication of time so we were unable to order dessert. The sitting was very short.
Loved it, just so noisy, nothing to absorb all the chatter, so hard to hear each other over large table.
Setting was excellent, the staff were pleasant and the food was good. It was very busy but very noisy unfortunately. We had a 12.30pm booking and were required to vacate the table by 2.00pm. This time frame is unreasonable. Our food did not arrive in time for us to leave by then. We were given an extension of half an hour but our deserts still hadn’t arrived. We were then asked to leave our table and eat our deserts in the tasting room. Pushing diners through at this rate makes it feel like dollars are far more important than the dining experience is for their customers.
Food was delicious and very good value and staff were wonderful very helpful,
Fabulous lunch, food was great but we especially appreciated the service from friendly and helpful staff who were attentive but not hovering. The whole setting is lovely and we enjoyed the special touch on our dessert for our anniversary. This is not a cheap place to eat but I feel the whole experience gives value for money.
Tremendous venue, service was excellent from the moment we walked in till the moment we walked out!
Food was first class, they even went to the trouble of providing a dessert that was not on the menu.
Fabulous place to dine. Exceptional food, great service by friendly staff who were very knowledgeable about the food and wines. All topped off with beautiful views looking out over Western Port bay.
Highly recommend for lunch or dinner for anyone wanting a treat in a peaceful setting and being spoilt.
Delicious imaginative menu. Excellent wine list and table service.
Outstanding service from start to finish. Wait staff were well informed and trained which really added to the experience.
We both had the John Dory main course which was tasty and perfectly cooked.
Water glasses were topped up promptly.
My only gripe is a $30 mark up on a bottle of the Pt Leo wine which I thought was excessive.
Absolutely stunning food, wonderful service and unbeatable views
Point Leo was absolutely amazing!! From the food, wine, staff and service I couldn’t fault anything.
We started off in the cellar door for a tasting and the gentleman there was fantastic. He was extremely knowledgeable and it really felt like he knew his wine and was just reciting from a script.
Monica was our waitress for dinner, she was great. She had good knowledge of the food and wine list and was very attentive. If there were questions she couldn’t answer she was very prompt at getting the right answer or grabbing another team member for us.
One of the highlights of the evening was when the head waiter came out to explain one of the dishes we had. There was a component of the dish that was incredible and I wanted to know exactly what it was, turned out to be the mushroom soy butter. The head waiter even went to the kitchen and got the ingredients for the butter and wrote it down for me. It is definitely one of the best beef dishes we’ve had in a long time.
If you haven’t been you need to get yourself there!!
Spectacular view awesome experience with food and customer service a professional level of wine selection advice that point Leo offers will definitely be back soon
Quality , service , presentation everything actually was outstanding couldn’t complain about a thing , if I had to pick one thing would simply be the main could have been a little bigger but is to be expected definitely not a complaint anyway , would highly recommend to anyone I spoke to , great experience
fantastic ! could not ask for better service and the food is amazing.
This is a great place, food and staff exceptional. I would recommend it to anyone.
We took friends from Canada to Point Leo Estate last week. We have enjoyed it very much previously and the four of us had a delicious lunch there. The food was delicious and unusual and service and ambiance first class. Views are glorious as is the interior design. Would highly recommend it for a special occasion with friends or family or just treat yourselves.
Loved it - although tables felt a little too close together. Keep up the great work.
Almost everything was wonderful. Unfortunately my wife had the cooked cheese which was over done and therefore a little chewy but everything was fantastic so that was the only small sour note. The table next to us ordered the same cheese dish and theirs was visibly softer and runny so that was a shame. The steak was amazing, cooked perfectly and you can see why the Rose has won awards. Overall a great experience with the cheese dish the only thing stopping it being virtually perfect!
Great in every way, except would have preferred to look at grape wines, rather than the big modern art with the beautiful ocean view
Loved Point Leo Estate. The restaurant looks fabulous. Great view of the sculpture park and looking out over the bay. Food was magnificent. Presentation spot on, lovely flavours and a great variety. Deciding what to eat was a challenge. Point Leo 2012 Chardonnay delicious. The building & atmosphere is classy but personable. Staff were very attentive. We’ll be back.
Outstanding facility, manicured surrounds and great ambiance. Walked in and immediately felt the warmth of the staff and it only got better once seated. Have recommended to friends and family and we will return.
Fantastic views over sculpture garden ambience is diminished by the noise level being a bit too high. Friendly knowledgeable service . Outstanding food , delicate subtle flavouring, appetisingly and attractively presented
Lovely afternoon wine tasting and a fabulous lunch.
Staff were very accommodative
Pt Leo Restaurant is a family favourite. We love to bring overseas guests to admire the sculpture park, the architecture and the food.
Another very enjoyable lunch at Point Leo. it never fails to live up to expectations. Great location for special occasion dining.
Very good efficient service
What’s not to like !
A busy Saturday night, but when you're paying $100+ per person it shouldn't take 20 minutes for your first drink to arrive, and then spend the rest of the evening trying to get a staff members attention to top up water / wine glasses. All courses were over-salted, and whilst they arrived in a timely fashion, overall the experience was pretty underwhelming. Can't see us going back based on the fact that the Mornington Peninsula has such an abundance of good dining options.
The food and drinks were overpriced and the presentation and taste of the food was uninspiring.
Lovely setting among the sculptures
Amazing view and incredible food. Great options for adults and Children. Childrens and dessert menu felt over-priced but otherwise everything else was amazing and as expected
We were very well looked after by the staff. Food choice was interesting and enjoyable. Great location and lovely outlook from the restaurant.
Lovely warm friendly staff amass , waiting to welcome, greet & seat guests.
Attentive service all throughout sitting .
Non invasive , & ability to flow through experience with caring but minimalistic fuss !
A wonderful experience in a memorable, but understated atmosphere , for special occasions of family or friends gatherings . Or relaxed low key affairs in the Wine Terrace !
Fear fish dishes & fine wine 🍷!
Lovely setting and delicious food
Will definitely recommend this restaurant to our family and friends
A beautiful restaurant set amongst amazing garden sculptures, with a view beyond to the bay.
Food is OK, presented beautifully.
A good place to take an interstate or overseas visitor :)
Fine dining with great personalised table service and a fantastic view. We requested a window seat which was not available apparently however, there was no comment nor apology made. The meal was of a high standard however the oysters in the entrée were of a very small variety. A walk around the property and the sculpture garden is available at price whether dining or not.
Environment beautiful. Staff attentive, polite. Food was very average for the price. Many local eateries provide stiff competition against this menu.
Fabulous service and great food. Our waitress was fantastic.
One of the best wineries on the peninsula. The food wine service were outstanding . Very relaxing with a beautiful outlook. Can’t wait to go back
