Wonderful service and delicious food!
Absolutely fantastic dining experience at every level. Amazing cuisine that was so thoughtful from the preparation to the complex flavors to the presentation; service was five star and should be the gold standard for other any restaurant!
This is the restaurant I would not think twice about coming back to when returning to San Francisco.
We had an amazing experience! We simply loved all of it! We will never forget! Such a friendly, cozy and lovely place! The food is amazing!
Food, service, tastes, hospitality, everything perfect, superb.
The restaurant for being a 3 star Michelins is too noisy. Leaving aside this particular, I suggest you try it, you won't regret it.
Best service ever
We’ve eaten in countless Michelin starred and fine dining establishments and this was up there with the best. Yes there were a few hiccups to start with for instance I was served cool pasta which should’ve been warm and there was a lot of up selling for alternative more expensive dishes however... the food was beautifully presented and genuinely tasted phenomenal (the wagyu was melt in your mouth buttery and totally delicious), great professionalism from staff and wonderful surprise of dining with the chefs which made our evening that much more special. Would recommend in a heartbeat.
Superb and exquisite dining experience
I searched for Michelin 3 stars restaurant in San Francisco, the only one available for this weekend was Quince. The restaurant is elegant, the service is attentive. However they try to charge you as much as they can. The price was $295 per person. But the waiter talked us into paying additional $75 per person for “unbelievable” pasta dish, which was simply average. Also additional $75 pp for pairing with non alcoholic drinks, also additional $85 to switch lamb to Wagyu beef. By the time we added tips we spent more than $1800 for 3 people (luckily we don’t drink alcohol).
What an amazing experience, great ambience, excellent service and phenomenal food! Every course was an explosion of flavor and taste! We were treated to dessert in the kitchen, what an orchestra created by Chef, absolutely amazing to watch! I would recommend Quince for any event but most importantly, I would visit on my own for dinner!!
Delicious food and best service I’ve ever had at a restaurant!
Just amazing. Every aspect. The food, the service, the thoughtfulness of the staff.
Extraordinary hospitality, incredible tasting menu! One of the finest culinary experience you will ever encounter!
I didnt mind the price. the food was delicious. The only thing I didn't like was how the entire staff tries very hard to make us know exactly why Quince is so great. The food speaks for itself. It is very good and I definitely can't find it elsewhere. However, I wanted to relax and also not wait too long. I felt antsy. And when staff members came to talk to us and talk about all these things... it made me tired. I love the food. I just dont always want to listen to so much information. The part where we went to the kitchen... it seemed very planned. The extra dishes... very nice, but I also think you guys do it for many customers. That's just fine... but you guys don't need all that. You are already good. I guess it is lacking humor and a more down to earth feel, but this is just me. Most people probably love all the talk.
It was an absolutely wonderful experience. My daughter felt extra special on her 16th birthday. Thank you
A stunning meal. Loved the whole experience, $$$$ is not for the faint of heart.
Wonderful dinner, great food, friendly and knowledgeable wait staff and a wonderful sommelier to help with a comprehensive wine list. Well worth the price and a must visit for serious foodies in SF.
Be carefull of their supplementary menu.
Before Quince. We visited Benu which is same level ( 3 Michellin stars) Same set menu price no hidden cost during the whole course at all.
However in Quince my brother and I ( two people ) were asked for supplementary things during the whole course. We were asked for upgraded lamb to wagyu for additional $85. Salmon caviar into premuim for additional $85. Of course you can refuse them however waiter makes you feel like your original menu is not as good as upgrade one, and it was quite annoying too.
Food with no superise and plate presentation is below average. The worst thing is after this meal I felt too much gas in my stomach. I didn't realise this was caused by dinner until the next day when I chat with my brother he had exactly same situation last night. I will simply ignore this without calling them to complain because I know I won't give them a second chance.
I hope they can impove and retain thier reputation. To be honest I won't give a second visit maybe it suits someone else but not me.
Quince was our fourth Michelin 3-star experience in the Bay Area. While every single experience has been outstanding from all aspects, Quince resonated with us, perhaps a tad more than the others. This by no means is meant to be a knock against the others, but to make the point that the Quince outing was singular. For us, on that day, under the set of circumstances. Another way to state this would be while we would definitely do an encore on the other 3-star restaurants, we would like to start with Quince first. Thank you for everything.
It was one of the best fine dining restaurants I’ve ever been, the food and service quality was great.
It’s been a few weeks. I had to think about this. We’ve been to EMP, saison, Brooklyn Fare, French laundry, meadowood, George V, etc...not sure how this place got a 3 star. We waited for 15 min at our table to be greeted by the server....The food was very good but for the most part lacked innovation and creativity. I would give them 2 star at best, probably somewhere between 1-2 Michelin stars.
We had the most amazing experience! Thank you to everyone who so perfectly and gracefully took care of us. We were even given the opportunity to eat one pasta course in the kitchen! I cannot put into words how special the entire staff made our evening.
We had an exceptional meal at Quince. Every dish was perfectly balanced. We especially liked the potatoes and oysters, and the lamb. Service was arguably the best I'd ever experienced: warm, well-paced and with exquisite attention to detail. Would love to come back!
The food and service was exquisite
Most amazing meal of my life. The service team was exceptional.
An amazing meal and service.
Quince definitely deserves it three Michelin stars. Every aspect of the meal is exquisite. You are surrounded by history and fine art in the dining room. The pacing of the courses in perfect; and the servers keep you entertained with educational comments about the restaurant and the cuisine.
Food was great, staff was helpful and nice, great food experience
We were celebrating a 50th birthday. As my husband stated, “Quince you had us at canapés then came the summer tomatoes, the caviar, the peas in pods of pasta, the lamb the wines! Superb!” A very unexpected visit to the kitchen for a course put our visit over the top! Thank you and well done!
Awesome time. Fantastic service and unique food. Wine pairing was excellent, but expensive.
Fantastic meal in every way.
Exceeded expectations. Service and food are on par with the best restaurants in the world. Great experience from beginning to end.
Truly an epic dining experience. Amazing!
When we finish the dinner, we have a cup of tea in paper cup which is complimentary . I feel it’s kind of wired. Usually in Michelin star restaurants, they will give a small box of treats to their clients, not a cup of tea in a blank paper cup.
Everything worked out in the end and was good! I really liked the meat and seafood, but wasn’t a huge fan of the vegetables. I also really liked the in house cocktail at the end of the meal.
