    The ambience and service was great. It’s a solid spot and sets a great vibe. We were excited about the food we ordered, the tonkotsu ramen, chicken karaage, and donuts. We also got the yuzu margarita and the yuzu sake bomb. The cocktail and beer were great, but the food was disappoint for the price point. The ramen was lackluster with the broth not being very rich, the chashu being too tough and thick, and a lack of ingredients in the katsu ramen as well. Overall, a decent experience but disappointed in the food.

    The Thai Tea creme brulé was the star of the show. It was delicious. My friend has the pork ramen which looked excellent. Unfortunately, I have celiac disease and has to do gluten free ramen. It was bland and lacked in flavor because I was not able to get the pork option. I had the "Pho" chicken with modifications. Happy I could eat ramen at a restaurant, but I wouldn't come for gluten free ramen again.

    We have always found the food at Ramen to be of high quality and value, but they have consistently had great staff. Call out on this trip to Alexandra, she was a delight to have help us and our kids. Cheers to the rest of the staff.

    Ordered a beverage that was never delivered despite asking again for it, waiter did not ask how our meal was at all, and at the end I asked for a to- go container for my leftovers but they took them and never brought them back. Really disappointed as a longtime Ramen San fan.

    The ramen was good, the dumplings were good, the chicken wings and the karrange nuggets were disappointing. There are many ramen places in Chicago. Ramen-San is good but certainly doesn’t dissuade me from trying other spots that may be as good or better.

    we got our orders in and got our food out promptly although there was only one thing that our server got incorrectly it was all warm and delicious. It was our first time at the LP location and it will not be our last. appreciate the attentive service and great food. never disappoints

    The 10-hr tonkotsu and the katsu tonkotsu were both excellent, I would highly recommend either. The beers were great and very cold. They even mentioned that due to an equipment issue, they weren't as cold as usual-- I was very happy with it as it was, so the fact that it is normally somehow even more chilled is a good sign. Try a sake bomb!

    I've been to the River North location, but I think the Lincoln Park location will be my frequent haunt now. The wait staff is friendlier and super helpful. I came here for a date night, and our service was quick and the waitress was very attentive and helpful when we had questions about the menu, especially the sake selection. The ramen is very tasty, and full of flavor, and there is A LOT of soup. There are also vegetarian options and options for those who don't eat pork, so the menu is more than accommodating. Atmosphere wasn't too loud, you can comfortably have a conversation without yelling at the person next to you, and the music is dope. Props to whoever is the DJ here—they play lots of 90's old-school bops. Just a heads-up: this is a Lettuce Entertain You restaurant, and the wait staff was very patient with me while I was figuring out how to find my login information for redeeming my reward points.

    Server was very friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Edamame hummus and crispy tofu / fried chicken buns were excellent. Ramen broth could have been hotter (temperature wise), but the flavors were very good. Hot donuts were a delicious way to finish off a great meal.

    Had a wonderful time. Alex our servers was the best. They were very down to earth and knowledgeable. They had great recommendations for us and overall made the experience. Food was was also amazing. The edamame hummus and the chicken nuggets are a must! To drink you cant go wrong with the Yuzu Margarita! Cant wait to come back and ask for Alex!!!!
