Red Lobster - San Jose - Almaden Expressway
Waitress, Diana, was nice and did a great job. Service was prompt. Garlic shrimp skewer and Atlantic salmon were very tasty. Garden salad was lacking. It was mostly lettuce. Biscuits were great, as usual.
Great deals on Monday’s with all you can eat shrimp & there are 4 different kinds of shrimp!
The service was mediocre as to be expected at a chain restaurant. The server was very nice and did her best though. Very polite. We appreciated her. The atmosphere was chain restaurant to be expected. The food came on plates that were 250 plus degrees which indicated it was re heated or microwaved. My adult sons salmon tasted like it was in the freezer for a year and my lobster was as tough as shoe leather. Mainly went for the fresh oysters and the bread. They didn’t have oysters and the bread was ok. Disappointed

Been this place for 20+ years. Getting worse and worse. Slow service and got half of our order wrong. Very upsetting
Worst dinning experience ever! Then as I was sharing my experience I found out all my friends said the same thing about this red lobster location... I still like red lobster but would never go back to location again!
It’s red lobster...
Worst service . We were seated right away and the server just kept walking by us. It was 15 min later she dropped off bread and was going to come back. She doesn’t know how to multi task. I watched her walk by with 1 bottle of A1, then one beer, then jus carrying an empty tray. There was no manager around or any one else to help her. As we sat there and luckily did not chock on our bread another 15 min went by. We left! We don’t need to help pay her rent. We left and wen to chilis
Everything was too long even we had reservation
Everything was great - the only complaint I would have is that refills on the shrimp did at times take super long in between... could be better handled. Other than that - it was good. Thanks!

Love the Endless Shrimp deal... was a bit slow at first getting out the refills and had to wait awhile but then it somehow speeded up and was great. Thank you!
We left abruptly as they seated a guest near us with a dog who sniffed each patron while walking to table. Did was not marked as a service dog. One of my guests is allergic to animal fur so wasted our money. Other than that food was good
Got forks ten minutes after we got our salads. Got our drinks after we got our entree. Not really impressed.
Took my grandsons for a birthday celebration. Ideal venue for this. Friendly, helpful staff.
Awful experience. Waited and waited and waited for our dinner and after more than an hour decided to leave.
Other tables received their meals and a couple of them had even arrived after us.
The manager apologized and offered to comp the dinner, but it was late and we just wanted to go home.
Off our list - don’t plan on ever returning.

Many delicious menu choices! Good service! Able to visit and converse at the table without loud music and noise! Highly recommend Red Lobster

The service was mediocre at best. The server took our soft drink order and it was about ten minutes later that she showed up with the drinks. The restaurant wasn't that busy; but we were seated in an area with few patrons, so she probably forgot about us. We ordered off the daily special menu and instead of letting us choose two sides, like before...we were only allowed to choose one side. Then the meal arrived with the second side being broccoli, not something I wanted. I would have rather picked an upgraded side, so the restaurant lost out on some enhanced revenue. The baked potato was not fully cooked and was not at temperature. The Mahi mahi was excellent and cooked to perfection.
This is my review about Red Lobster for tonight. From Open Tabel, they only consider me & my family as a prority seating and I’ve checked in 3 mins prior to 6:45pm today. A host lady (Don’t know her exact name) told me that there will be 20-25 mins waiting required for the total of 7 including 2 kids. While we were waiting all other patites came after us called and we were the only group still waiting. I’ve asked her once again and she reprates another 20-25 mins waiting required. In addition, she laugh at while were waiting. I ended up call the manager at Almaden Expwy store in San Jose & he did mentioned about calling Poice. We gave up our dinner and came out...but I wanted to find out her name & came back in. The other lady host told me that we neede to leave just because the manager of store kicked us out...we actually left & no one kicked us out. I’ve asked the manager to get his name...Jose Rodriguez...and told him to fix the problem. Worst night ever on my own birthday entire my life at Red Lobster. I will never even consider Red Lobster ever and wanted to share this for any family planning to have a family dinner to consider other location instead.

Have not been to a Red Lobster for 20 years. Was pleasantly surprised as it appears to have moved a bit more upscale on the ambiance. Felt less like a chain and more like a "real" restaurant. Food was fine - as expected - good value.
Fish was dry, ran out of appetizer ordered. Were not acknowledged when we went to check in, employee was too busy talking to coworker.
New Years Eve. Understaffed. Bartender no knowledge. Ordered a dirty martini & it came on the rocks.
Had to ask for fresh French fries as they were cold. Hostess was nice. It was just ok.
The server took over 2 hours to seat us and sat us when the restaurant was almost closed
Xmas eve dinner was pleasant
The food, for the price, was very disappointing. A steak ordered medium was very well done, the shrimp salad seemed like it was hastily put together and there was no char on the charbroiled shrimp. The service was very good in spite of it being Christmas Eve.
They have great service but the food was terrible. They served my husband a flank steak instead a fillet mignon and the lobster was rubbery. My salmon was under cooked.
Good Quality Food
Although this location is typically busy, we went the day before Thanksgiving and were one of a handful of patrons. Service was fine, but a bit slow. Food was yummy! Brownie sundae dessert is definitely worth it!
