As always, we had a great experience at Rosina's. We would also like to thank the staff for opening up the patio for us along with bringing out a heater.
Amazing staff and the food was even better. Their pastas are fantastic.
Really good food, excellent service, well sized portions. I just wished the carpaccio came with some pieces of toast, but overall an amazing restaurant.
Small casual venue featuring great value and an attentive staff.
This is definitely a top spot in TO. Great home cooked meals for very reasonable prices. Service is top notch as well. This place is a real gem!
The pizza was very delicious. I dare to say it is one of the best in Toronto.
Good food and great drinks!! Celebrating a friends bday and we had a great time. Highly recommend the carbonara and the bruschetta - delicious.
The food was great as always, brought people with me who had not been there before and they loved it, our server was great, friendly and knowledgeable and was really sweet with the little one at our table..we will definitely be going back
And would recommend Rosina’s to anyone who wants great tasting quality food, and a great overall experience.
This was our second time at Rosina and it was just as amazing as our first! Great food and service! Looking forward to eating here again!
Outstanding place !
The food and service was great! Space is definitely a premium and made us and the table behind us very uncomfortable as we were seated so close to each other.
Excellent friendly service and amazing food! Definitely going back.
Great food and over great experience. Will definitely go back.
A perfect place to have a delicious and authentic Italian food without breaking the bank.
Rosina, located at King & Bathurst, is the sister restaurant of Trattoria Taverniti, located in Little Italy. It is a tiny place, not fancy by any stretch but not ugly. Its a simply design restaurant with a bar decorated with tiles that give vibes of southern Italy. This along with some touches such as a map of Calabria along with a large portrait of Nonna Rosina on the wall, give it a homey and casual feel.
You pretty much cant go wrong. I have the Penne alla Rosina, was Penne with hot soppressata, n’duja, basil in a rosé sauce. It sounds simple but it tasted absolutely amazing, I was debating on ordering another plate after I finished mine. The only reason I didn't is that the portion sizes are perfect. They are not to small that you will leave hungry, however I wouldn't call them large either. They are a decent size, and you will definitely leave full, especially if you decide on getting an app.
The reason I like this place and will be returning is because the prices are really good for what you are getting, especially compared to other Italian restaurants in the city (which seem to get more and more pricey these days). Id say this is $-$$ in terms of price. Most pasta dishes are about $15-$20 or less, with apps ranging from $5-$20. You can definitely have a dinner for two here for $50-$70 with apps and mains, and I'd highly recommend it.
Nico and the staff were super friendly and the food was authentic and delicious. My parents and I had a great time and enjoyed a delicious meal. Thank you!
Very good pricing
The food was amazing and the service was excellent. Very friendly staff!
Love this restaurant. The food is always awesome and the staff amazing
Wonderful food and service! Especially the house-made fresh pasta!! Can't wait to eat at Rosina again!
Always outstanding!!!! The only genuine Italian food in Toronto that has remained traditional. See you again very very soon!
Fantastic experience every time!! The food is amazing at a great price and the service is always impeccable!
Amazing food, most authentic I’ve had in the King West area. It’s also not expensive and the service is brilliant.
My husband and I so wanted to enjoy Rosina’s, sadly this was not the case. The restaurant was so hot (30+ celsius) that we were unable to enjoy our meals that took an hour to arrive! The food was just okay, and funnily enough, cold. The server was not attentive, I sat without a drink for 10 minutes. The tables are too close together and it is way too loud! We may give Rosina’s a second chance in the winter when it’s -30 Celsius outside lol
The food is outstanding! Be prepared to be transported to Italy. Two words- homemade pasta. The arancini is amazing also. Highly recommend!
Great, as always. So happy this is in our neighborhood, and it's always so kind of the staff to whip up penne arrabiata for us, even though its not on the menu (spoiler alert: they make a great penne arrabiata).
The food was excellent and the atmosphere was lovely. It was nice to hear the staff speaking Italian, it just adds that extra flavour to the atmosphere. Great restaurant and I’ve already recommended it to tons of people.
We had a lovely quick dinner on the patio before heading to a concert. The service was great and quick and the food was delicious. Very good value. I would highly recommend Rosina as a spot for a quick bite or to stay and enjoy. It also seemed busy with locals popping in for take out! Great experience all round!
Love them love the staff the food ambiance! Cute small resto that’s a gem! Shout out to Giovanni who has served us twice and is the most sweet pleasant soul! Makes me feel like I’m in Italy!
Rosina’s was absolutely amazing. From the food, to the service and everything else. If you are looking for authentic Italian food then this is the place to go. You truly feel as if you are being served home made dishes.
On top of the amazing food, the service was absolutely on point. I would 100% recommend Rosina’s for any event, celebration or even just a night out for some food and drinks!
I will be back!
My sister took a bite of her pasta and bit into metal which was pulled out and given to the server right away. He was actually standing at the table when it happened.
He said “oh it’s just from a wire brush” did you want me to make you a new one?
Why would a wire brush be used in butternut squash ravioli? And she was not really comfortable trusting them at this point, not to mention she was cut.
He didn’t take it off the bill.
The restaurant was extremely hot.
Very disappointing, we will not be back and we will not recommend.
Very casual but top class service , food and atmosphere - would highly recommend.
Fourth time at Rosina within the last month and a half and I can’t get enough of this place. This quaint southern Italian restaurant with home cooked food from the motherland is to die for. Every time I dine at Rosina’s I am always impressed with the friendly service, excellent food and quick turn around time from when I order, to when my dinner is served. I’ve brought many friends and family with me and the reviews are consistent across the board. Five stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This place is hands down one of the best Italian spots I’ve been to in awhile. The place is small but cute with a cozy patio as well. It was extremely busy when we went but our server continuously checked in to make sure we were good the whole time. The food was impeccable. Freshest pasta and pizza with so much flavour and do not forget the Arancini!!! I can’t wait to go back and try every single thing on the menu. Solid 11/10. Great staff and amazing food.
There was a metal screw in the meatballs, thank god I didn’t bite into it
My go to Italian place in Toronto. Impeccable service and outstanding food. I always bring clients and friends as convert them as the quality of the food speaks for itself. Thanks guys!! See you soon!!
Awesome as always. Best pizza in Toronto. Authentic Italian.
Never disappointed. Their pasta is just perfect. The sauce is one of a kind. Service is plenty and space is clean! Will be returning soon.
Lovely authentic Italian food and service. The acoustics make conversation difficult.
My first time dining here was great, their food was delicious and the interior was very cute! Would definitely the gnocchi.
A cozy dinner spot with authentic Italian cuisine which stands out from the typical King street vibe.
