This was a truly memorable experience, amazing omakase tasting menu, superb service, great atmosphere
We love Roka Akor server’s are always very pleasant and helpful. They were very agreeable to doing Social distancing and that was much appreciated. Unfortunately the table that was 6 feet away from us was incredibly noisy. I don’t understand why people have to be that loud when you’re in an environment where the ones nearby are not being loud. Consideration would’ve been nice, but they were clueless. Not the restaurants fault. Food was fabulous
Bad crab legs some was not cooked and tasted really bad and we told the waiter and did not take it off the bills. Don’t order seafood here as smells bad and tastes bad. Manager did not care enough to say sorry. But I will say the steak was amazing!
Chandler and the other staff were amazing. Food was excellent! I highly recommend!
The food top not h and Jeffery our server was very pleasant and informative and treated us as VIPs
The server mentioned she couldn’t do a half pour of wine for me when I’ve been there before and have gotten a half pour.
I love this restaurant. I have always had excellent service and fantastic food. I'll keep coming back!
We ended up downstairs at the bar instead of upstairs in the main restaurant and the experience was incredible! Very personalized service from the staff and they were happy to take care of my existing reservation so I didn't have to pay/cancel. Food is wonderful. This is a must-visit in SFO!
Great food, service. I ate in the bar area and it was amazing
Disappointing compared to Roka in Chicago. The food is very good but not compared to the price.
Great casual ambiance. excellent service! Food was very well prepared but a bit of a let down given all the rave reviews and high prices (due to a la carte ordering)
Sashimi app was great; chefs choice nigiri was average (and thus overpriced) Love black cod and expected melt in your mouth but it was a little too firm and bland. Didn’t care for the heavy sauce.
Others really enjoyed their steaks and mushroom hotpot (sort of like risotto)
I’ve lived in San Francisco for 40 years. This is my new favorite San Francisco restaurant.
Food is pricey but amazing. Highly recommend the yellowtail, the dumplings, sashimi, and filet to share family style.
Great ambience and the food was delicious. The service was pretty good and the staff friendly. They forgot one of our orders, but besides that it was a great experience.
My wife’s birthday celebration at one of our favorite restaurant places in the city
My boyfriend and I celebrated our third anniversary, we loved the food, we did have to ask for a table by the window, if it’s a special ocasión of course I want the best table!!!!!
Food was great service we're awesome, lighting in the restaurant was pretty dark. 🤷🏻♂️
Been here a couple times and would recommend this restaurant. Great service & amazing food!
Experience was pleasant, service was great. Typical San Francisco Japanese steakhouse, high price sushi, well plated but lacking flare for price. Rate sashimi in Vegas better, chicken was fabulous, Mayo was overly salty and had peculiar aftertaste. Would recommend, but not a have to return.
We went for my birthday dinner. The team gave me a sweet card and comped a tasty ice cream dessert! All of that on top of the amazing food— it was a WOW meal for sure!
Absolutely the best birthday dinner I have had in a while. The restaurant started a bit noisy but got better as folks left. Our server brought each course at the perfect time leaving enough time for conversation. we had a drink before dinner at the downstairs bar and the bartender/mixologist was amazing and informative.
so much fun and worth the price.
