Ronin features elgant farm cuisine with a constantly evolving menu. Set in the beautiful, newly-renovated historic Ice House on Main in downtown Bryan, our restaurant shares an open-air kitchen with our dining room, floor to ceiling exposed brick, and hand-built, suspension tables made from wood salvaged during renovation.

Our menu is updated daily, based on what we have harvested from our garden during that given week. Our farm is located just seven miles from our restaurant. The climate and changing seasons play a major role in what we serve. It is our intention to always provide a variety of menu options and to accommodate any dietary needs.

    This is a fantastic place. The ambiance is great. Food is great. But this go around I felt very rushed by the waiter. We hadn’t even been served water and he was already asking for drink and appetizer order. Slow down a bit. Give customers some time to settle in. It’s not a chain restaurant and we want to enjoy all of it.

    I have been to Ronin about five times. I have enjoyed it, but when I leave I question why I would go back. While the food is very good, the service is always slow (wait 10 minutes for water slow) and it is very overpriced. Bread is $9 for about 4-5 slices of very good bread with butter. But $9? That is really outrageous. I reminded myself this time, it will be the last time. There are many other good/high-end restaurants in Bryan and College Station. There is nothing on the menu, except for maybe the wine, that is worth what you are charged.

    The space is very cool and the service was very good. The cocktail list is insane and bar staff were very friendly. As far as our main entrees went it definitely was a let down, especially for the price point. My wife had the curry tuna over risotto with fried green tomatoes. The tuna came out deep fried and breaded and just odd shapes and strips cut up. It was just a very odd and not appealing plate. I had the shrimp and miso fettuccine and it was just ok. We did have the cheese toast for an appetizer and that was the best thing we ate there. We really wanted to be blown away by the food because the space is so cool, but it just fell flat for us.

    I enjoyed the Moroccan chicken and would give that a five ☆ but my daughter had the grilled gulf shrimp and rates that a three to four ☆ meal. The host was wonderful and managed the table of 15 very well. The restaurant is bright and friendly. A wonderful place for a special occasion.

    Very smooth. Waitress was nice and knowledgeable. Not A fan of the seating arrangement but everything went well. Would come back to try some other menu items
