I held a surprise birthday dinner for my sister at Roots Southern Table and it was great! The food was incredible and the service was even better. They seamlessly handled our table of 13. I will definitely be back!

This was my third visit and it was as incredible as my first. The service as amazing as the food. Can’t wait to go back for a fourth !

Roots is one of my favorite restaurants. Always great service and overall experience when I visit. I brought a college friend in town visiting and she loved it... until she got back to the hotel room and I got home. Both of us ordered the halibut and both of us had terrible stomach aches. I think th fish might've been slightly undercooked... But, this one time occurrence doesn't taint my overall experience.

We brought 2 other couples with us as it was their first time. Roots ST didn't disappoint. The cornbread is so delightful. The deviled eggs were just a bit spicy and wonderful. The halibut in curry sauce was a huge hit, so were the short ribs. We enjoyed the fried chicken that cannot be compared with any other. Thank you so much for a good time. The wait staff was kind and just the right amount of attentive. A perfect evening in every way.

This place is awesome. We received excellent service from the host to the manager. Our server was Ahhhhhmazing, made excellent recommendations, food was DELICIOUS, drinks were Delicious, ambiance very nice once live music started it was a little bit loud but not so bad that it was intolerant. The manager made several visits to our table, which showed his concern for us. Every employee that interacted with us was soooooo NICE. This is a definite RETURN SPOT FOR ME.

How have a waited this long to visit this establishment! This restaurant is now on my top 5 restaurants in DFW. From the hostess to the wait staff, to the food…everything was amazing. The duck fat fried chicken was sinful! And the drinks are so good. I will definitely come back!

Delicious food! Please consider serving old fashioned non fancy desserts, such as sweet potato pie, banana pudding, german chocolate cake, and/or bread pudding. More people will order desserts.
