Rotisserie St-Hubert - Ottawa / St-Laurent
Delicious food brought to a quiet booth graciously by a friendly server. The fries, chicken pies, cole slaw and quarter-chicken breast meat dinner were all perfect. Used to the St. Hubert on Avenue Road in Toronto (now no longer in business), my guests requested St. Hubert which they preferred over Swiss Chalet (the sauce, for one, is better). It was a quiet Monday evening, and there was plenty of room for more guests, but I booked online in advance so as not to be disappointed. The greeter at the store entrance was nice, and asked if we preferred a booth or a table, a choice I had not anticipated but was glad it was available. Stay in business in Ottawa!!!
Le panneau d’éclairage devrait être allumé puisque l’accès aux stationnement n’est pas très évident à partir de la rue.
Always a good meal.
We had a reservation for 5.30 pm on a Friday night this restaurant is usually booked up solid on weekend evenings and this evening was no exception but when we arrived our table was available right away it was set and water glasses were filled and ready for us along with menus yahoo ! Our server was very nice and prompt with everything throughout our time there I even asked for a little candle to celebrate a birthday of one of the people at the table and he remembered and provided us with that very request very impressed and Kudos to our server and Open Table for their great service !!
Based on past visits I would recommend this restaurant but not on our last visit. We were squeezed in a small table in a corner next to a table of people who insisted on talking so loud that we could barely have a conversation. Very unusual but it took over 45 minutes to get our meal. Very disappointed!!!
Using OpenTable to make our reservations was fast and easy. The restaurant was ready and waiting for our party. The service was friendly, the food arrived quickly and it was delicious. A very good experience.
Understaffed. We had to wait an hour to get our food due to overwhelming delivery orders on Good Friday.
Was served by Curtis, absolutely wonderful experience.
Been here before. Advise you make a reservation. The long line up shows the popularity. This place is great for the Angus steak as well as chicken. It was our anniversary.
Had a business meeting and was seated bar side, in the quiet area. The service was impeccable. Our coffee was always warm and the waitress wasn't too far away. They were really welcoming and accommodating. Couldn't be happier!
Will not go back on a Saturday evening. Way too noisy and busy, especially when a whole section was reserved for a party. Good chicken and service.
Positives... I loved that the kids meals were very reasonable and the menu had pictures. Huge bonus! Great value! The server was lovely even though she mixed up our orders every time.
Negatives- my chicken roll bun was burned, the food was ok. A ( not ours) waitress was not very tolerant of our active son.
The food was good once we got it, but it took close to 90 mins for our main meal to arrive.
With that kind of delay I would have expected to get our appetizer or a dessert for free but we barely got an apology.
Table placed next to the kid zone. Had to shout loud to keep up conversation. Booked table for 515 and it wasn't ready until 530. Took almost an hour for food to arrive. Missing poutine in one meal. Got poutine after everyone was done. Will not be returning and advising all friends and family to avoid this place!
My granddaughter’s Birthday
Old and tired; cleanliness needs to be addressed. Any of the St. Hubert’s I have been to in QC are incredibly clean and well maintained. This location needs to step up their game.
waitress was overly busy. attrntive when she should be. very noisy for early dinner.
food consistently good and temperature hot.
The reason I gave 2 stars for food - the rice with the ribs was cold.
Thank you for a wonderful evening The food was served hot, plates well presented and our server very friendly, amiable and prompt to refill our drinks and prepare our bill without error.
Excellent as usual.
St Hubert is reliable; simple, straight-forward, you know what you are going to get. Service friendly and good. Wine reasonably priced.
It is a great place to go anytime. The staff always try to accommodate the sitting preference. We don't have to wait long for the drinks and coleslaw. The service has been very good so far.
We have also used St-Hubert for take out during lunch hour.
It is well located.
Server was excellent. Young woman very pleasant
il y a eu confusion avec la réservation, on nous a oublié. Ala fin, ils ont enlevé $15.00 sut notre facture et $15.00 sur la facture de no amis, en guise de compensation.
The service was excellent! Nathalie our server was very attentive to our needs. My only complaint would be with my meal. I ordered the special Maple Lumberjack meal which was ribs and a quarter chicken, rice and roll. The rib no word of lie was about 3 inches by 3 inches. I had never seen such a small rib. Nothing like they showed in the picture. My wife said I should have complained and sent it back but I didn't. Anyway, I would not be calling it the Lumberjack meal as any lumberjack after a days' work would not find that meal very filling. Other than that everything else was very good.
