Can't believe that the server brings both of the appetizers and dinner at the same time. The manager came out to say sorry for the mistake they made and promised to make a new dinner when we were ready. however, they brought back the same cold dinner plates and lied to us that it was new. Very disappointed!

We reserved a spot for Thanksgiving dinner. It was busy as we expected, when we sat down the floor around our table was filthy - the prior diners must of had small children as they managed to spread food debris all around the table. The service was quite good and our waiter very friendly considering how busy it was. The steaks (I had a ribeye and my wife had the strip) were just ok. Not bad, just not Ruth Crisp good. A bit chewy, not the best choice in beef perhaps. All in all, ok, but we would have expected more from an upscale steakhouse.

We had the the thanksgiving turkey meal. They started the meal with a small baguette for the table. It was good, can’t go wrong with fresh bread & butter . Turkey was excellent, probably the moistest turkey I’ve ever had. Gravy & stuffing were also very good. I started with the steakhouse salad which was simple but fresh. Others enjoyed the lobster bisque. Caesar salad was also an option. They were out of the green beans, which was disappointing & seems to be a common occurrence based on past reviews I’ve read. The kitchen should address this in the future. I decided to have the sweet potato casserole which was a mistake, far too sweet for my taste. The creamed spinach was good. No one had the mashed potatoes. The meal finished with a small pumpkin cheesecake with a small helping of vanilla ice cream. Honestly it was just ok, something I would enjoy at Starbucks but substandard for a steakhouse. Overall we enjoyed the meal, at $44 per person it’s a good value but running out of the green beans and the mediocre desert were a disappointment. The turkey was truly excellent but it would have been nice to have another entree option like ham. Also we were a bit rushed, they brought out the turkey slightly before we finished our salads & soups. Not the type of service I expect from a high end steakhouse.

It was very noisy. Steaks were good. The potatoes were crunchy and undercooked. The Thanksgiving dinner was one of the worst we have had at a restaurant. For the cost, I don’t think I would go back

My wife and I have dined at Ruth’s Chris many times. We found ourselves alone on thanksgiving so we thought we’d try the turkey dinner. It was wonderful We also enjoyed a fantastic T-Bone steak cooked to perfection. Our waiter, Darius was outstanding. He went over and above to make our thanksgiving memorable! The thanksgiving leftovers to go were a nice touch as well! We’ll definitely be back!!

Made reservations for Thanksgiving dinner. 4 adults, a child, and a toddler. 3 adults ordered the Thanksgiving dinner for $44. 1 adult ordered the steak and shrimp. 2 children's chicken meals with fries. They brought the children's meals before they even brought the starter for the adult meals. The children were done with their food before the adults even received the main entree. Kids' chicken was dry. Thanksgiving meal was a small portion, two slices of turkey, and seemed a little under cooked. Garlic mashed potatoes were very dry. Was upset that the dessert that came with the meal was only one option that no one cared for. The staff was very friendly, but a little slow in refreshing water and beverages

Front of house staff were atrocious, we had a reservation, no table available. Inexperienced hosts had no idea what they were doing in terms of communication that our table wasn’t ready. We ended up wandering into the bar area and found a wonderful server, Sean, who seated us and was impeccable in service. Everything was perfect after we met Sean, just a shame there was such chaos with host staff on the door who were rude and not organized in getting us the table we had reserved weeks before on time.

Been to MANY Ruth’s Chris excellent steakhouses. This one was meh…Caesar salad had a romaine stump in it. My flat end cut filet was over cooked & had to be redone (mgr comped an extra side). It should be noted at 3:30, it was NOT very busy yet. We felt over dressed (dress code: no hats, jeans,etc-many people had both) hubby had a suit; me:slacks,nice blouse,heels. Kinda bummed…

I dined here again last Tuesday night, the 21st. Usually a very good option, but a bit underwhelming on this visit. I went with the surf and turf prix fix menu. I started with a poorly executed Caesar salad. To start, the Romaine wasn't so fresh, but the dressing wasn't particularly seasoned well. A total miss for what a Caesar should be. My 6oz. filet Mignon was fine, as was the accompanying mini lobster tail. Amazingly, the loaded mashed potatoes were a disappointment. How do you mess up potatoes? The cheese didn't do anything for it, the bacon was too skimpy, and the mashed potatoes were bland. Add some salt, pepper, and butter! They just missed the mark. The cheesecake too, was rather unremarkable. Excellent wine selection by the glass, as usual. Service was excellent, attentive, and friendly. Pleasant dining room atmosphere, comfortable big booths.

We sat at our table for 20 mins before anyone came over to greet us or pour water The steaks were over cooked, the fish was dry and it took 1 hour for us to be served, Very disappointed, will not be going back anytime soon

We went for our anniversary with brother and sister in-law for first time to celebrate. The beginning was great, staff was great appetizer was great, drinks great, but after an hour we started wondering where our food was. Approximately 30min later we were notified the kitchen was broke down and couldn’t produce hot plates. Staff was great, our stuff up until then was comped but unfortunately we had to go down to the food court for a burger. We definitely want to go back to try again to have that first time experience.

The food was really good. The service was excellent. David John was an amazing waiter. He even greeted us by name when he came to our table the first time. He knew by our reservation who was going to be sitting at that table in his area. There were about 3 or 4 other people who came by to deliver our food, take our plates, box up our left overs. Everyone was so attentive. I highly recommend Ruth Chris in Silver Legacy.

The entire staff from the time we walked in treated us like royalty. The person that greeted us was stellar. She made us feel both welcomed and valued right from the start. Kingston was and continues to be the most valuable asset the restaurant has. He is attentive, and portrays excellence. Both managers came by to greet us and made us feel like family. There is simply no better place to dine that this Ruth's Chris. Every single employee displays exemplary service.

Our server AJ was awesome. He has a fantastic personality, great smile and seems to genuinely care about the customer's experience. He was outstanding. The entire staff went well above the norm as it was my wife's 50th birthday. They decorated the table, the front house manager gave us a complimentary champagne toast and AJ gave us a dessert of our choice. Fantastic experience. Food was marvelous. Will return and will not forget the experience. Thank you so much!

Very good steak house, the service was excellent. I had a T-bone steak with a fully loaded bake potato. My steak was very tender and flavorful. My wife had the bbq shrimp, sweet potato casserole and Brussels sprouts. Very tasty. What separates Ruth’s Chris Steak House in Reno from the many other steak houses located near by is their service. Great service from start to finish, this is what keeps us coming back. Ed C.

Service was great, staff was very friendly. The noise level was very high and unexpected, thought it would have been quieter. Our two dinners were mixed up, one cooked more than the other, the staff tried to fix but didn’t come out good. The staff was on top of removing from the check and offered dessert. Will go back again and hope for a quieter atmosphere

Side dishes were not good. Both the baked potato and au gratin potatoes were hard. Baked potato was very skimpy on the toppings for a loaded baked potato.

I had to wait 45 minutes for a table, even though I had made a reservation. After they seating us, we order when they served my wine it had pepper in my wine cup, we told them when they brought it back it still had pepper in it. My steak was burnt. Serves was bad never again will I be going back.

My husband and I went there for our 35th anniversary/ birthday dinner l... Everything was AMAZING from the friendlyness, payed attention to every detail, they even put rose petals on our table 💗 And our waiter Jack was outstanding!!!! Food was DELICIOUS!! We will recommend and definitely will be going back...
