First time going! Fun experience with friends.
Delicious! We loved our meal and the service, we will definitely be back!
Had a party of four on Sunday night with all you can eat BBQ. Super yummy and was treated with so much respect. They constantly checked in and ensured we felt at home :)
Anything that you order from the menu will be good. Strongly recommend and I’love be sure to be back
All you can eat was great.definetly try it. Next time I won't get rice. Not that it wasn't good. Just to take advantage of the all you can eat I won't eat anything else.
Really good food! Did the all you can eat and it was amazing!
Food was great. Server was very helpful with the menu and provided many suggestions for food options.
Great food, no frills. Terrific Korean BBQ, TRY THE WINGS and BULGOGI! But definitely not a frills sort of place. Clean enough but typical older storefront. Wait staff could be friendlier -- or at least talk and explain a few things! Thankfully, the great guys at the next table helped us out and joined us in a chorus of HBD (to me!). VERY casual. Will be back.
This was our 2nd time dining at this restaurant and the food was consistently delicious. All ingredients are clearly spelled out in their descriptions and they will make any modifications you need to enhance your dining experience or dietary needs. It’s really fun to barbecue items on your own grill that’s built in to each of the tables!
Yes. I have recommended this restaurant to everyone. They have loved it and so have I. The Victoria Secret Drink is so good!
Service was terrible!!! Reserved a table upon sitting down we were told the table we were in was not for Sushi there was a separate section for other than BBQ which was fine however when the pleasant waitress asked the owner if it was ok to sit at the table the owner replied to my party “you have to leave by 7pm as we have more customers coming in”. I said to myself wait a minute eating here is not cheap I then felt this was just a terrible experience especially with loved ones who also felt bad and rushed! As for the food it was ok good taste but to be quite honest the Asian BBQ which we decided to do and not get up and leave was not worth it.
Every customer should be treated with respect as every customer that goes there spends a lot of money.
This restaurant lost our business and we have been in Logan Square for more than 30 years.
For my 1st time this place was pretty good! Definitely will go back and recommend!!
I’m obsessed with this place. It’s always amazing every time i come.
We had such blast here! We had a reservation for 6 people on Valentines and it was excellent. The service and food is such a wonderful deal. Highly recommend the all you can eat deal for groups.
We celebrated a birthday with a group of 6 and this spot was perfect. The food and ambiance were great and I will definitely be coming back.
You get a good amount for the price, and it’s as good as you make it.
Good food mostly. Not a fan of the shrimp but that’s just personal preference. Service was a bit off ordered drinks and waiter only brought them when reminded this happened twice. Seats a bit beaten up ripped leather in the booth. Over all good ok experience.
Great little gem in Logan Square. It's fun to do all-you-can eat bbq with a group. The menu is really great. We especially love the ahi tuna avocado appetizer and bulgogi. The drinks are also very good and the staff is very friendly!
Our server Andrew was great! Very knowledgeable and attentive. Not a big fan of the pork belly, but everything else was amazing. I didn’t get his name, the older host was very friendly as well.
Ryuu was a great place for my fiancée and I to celebrate our anniversary. The food was delicious and there was great variety in the choice of sides. The spicy Korean bao buns were amazing. The drink prices were very reasonable as well.
bday dinner, some food was good (calamari, shrimp, sushi, rice, salad), some wasn’t(king mushroom, bacon?(pork shoulder) and shrimp). Service was good and music was the perfect level for talking. We chose the All You Can Eat ,$29
It was a nice atmosphere and it was busy - our reservation was at 7:30 on a Saturday night. We chose All You Can Eat, which has some rules attached: primarily that you have 90 minutes to order and eat. We ordered our appetisers and then waited 20minutes for those to appear, as well as our sodas. We were worried about the time so we immediately ordered the main bbq meat and sides we wanted as we had already wasted almost 1/3 of our time.
It was nice overall, I probably wouldn’t go back just because I’ve experienced it now.
The food was very good. We had the all you can eat option and choices were plentiful. Grilling our own food on the table top was a cool experience, and everything was fresh and tasty. Service was mediocre, our server forgot things we ordered and had to flag him down multiple times even for a drink. He never even brought out our starter kimchi etc appetizers until we asked for them. 20% gratuiti ty was already in the price.
It was a Sunday at 3 pm and we had gone to other Korean BBQ places but the variety of options is what we liked. We were blown away by the Ribeye on the AYCE menu specifically. Our server was very attentive and did not judge the amount of food we were ordering (we were very hungry). We will definitely be back!
Had a great time! Staff was friendly, service was great, and good was amazing! Definitely recommend!
Good food!! Very tasty! Great experience!
Great fun place with a group!!
The beef and chicken cook best on the grill!!!
Good as always
The service was very slow, we waited two rounds of food for our drinks. The quality of the food is pretty low, for the price it is definitely not worth it especially with the rule that you get charged if you don’t finish something. Been to plenty of Korean bbq spots usually the service either makes up for quality or quality outshines service, not the case here.
The service was okay they kept forgetting the drinks and also they are lacking on sauces and spicy food. The shrimp was smelly and not the good kind it have off a weird smell and the fried rice is plain even though it’s presentation looks nice. The chicken wings were the best out of the whole meal there. The price for what we got is great I could come again to this place but never again with the strip and the pork it wasn’t that great.
Great place, delicious food, friendly and helpful staff, good pricing, clean. Would come again!
Food was good except the shrimp. The shrimp wasn’t cleaned or prepped. It still had the head and tail attached so we had to clean it before we cooked it.
If you were able to give negative stars I would def have this place was extremely overpriced the staff was rude and they told us we couldn’t take our leftovers home after purchasing them and charged us 5 dollars to literally throw food in the garbage this place is ridiculous the food was mediocre at best and the drinks were extremely watered down def not worth the price at all the only thing I thought was good was the ambiance of being able to cook your food right in front of you and the egg rolls were good other than that this place is GARBAGE
Just average. Service is good and drinks are just alright. Hot sauce is great though
Food is fresh, dining experience was fun, staff was helpful.
The restaurant is advertised as Korean barbeque, that’s why we went there. The drinks are cheap, but the food is not of good quality and is not authentic. The meat was not fresh, the grills were not adequate for barbeque, so the meat got boiled as opposed to grilled, and the sauces were not good.
Great place! We had the BBQ combo for 2 and it was the perfect amount of food for two people. We came a little towards the closing hour, however, and one server was a bit pushy for us to leave but other than that food, ambiance, and the wait staff was awesome!
Food wasn’t good at all felt like the quality wasn’t the best no flavor and had a weird taste to it like we got the ribeye and it didn’t taste like a ribeye, we got calamari and it didn’t taste like calamari and etc. we got a reservation at 8:45 we didn’t get seated till 9:30 what’s the point of reservation if we can’t be seated at the time we reserved a table for. This was also our first experience of Korean bbq and sadly it was VERY poor.
I’d recommend this restaurant to anyone, but with the cravat that they may ask you to leave after an hour.
We had reservations, had mostly finished ordering food, but were going to have a last drink. They told us the next reservation was waiting, we could move to the bar. We went home instead. I’d like to have known that first. Just 2 of us and we weren’t dilly dallying. Otherwise, a great place!
There is a lack of sophistication with the cocktail menu and the service is friendly, but raw. Go for a low-key, Asian (not authentic Korean) bbq experience.
