San Antone by Bludso's BBQ - Crown Melbourne
Overall the food was amazing. We had the fried with pulled pork which was amazing. One of the meat platter with 3 small sides. The corn bread was really average.
The service was average. We needed to wave someone down each time we wanted a drink
Absolutely amazing food! We will definitely be back!
Great atmosphere, Food was to die for I mean sides OMG mmm and the Meats was mouthwatering and it was when they were served on our table, service and attitude was wonderful, Will definetely def return to dine at Bludsos Bbq
A great carnivore experience
Meat eaters delight
You will never leave hungry
Great food! Good options for larger groups with sharing platters. All the food is phenomenal! The food is a little more expensive but it’s worth every cent.
The food was amazing, this was my first time actually eating at a BBQ style restaurant and I gotta say it didn’t disappoint, I’m used to my uncles slow cooking some meats but DAYMM they don’t compare to this.
I’m definitely going to be trying to get the whole fam down to fill up a table, larger portion sizes than I thought on the starters, perfect for sharing, and the burger was fan bloody tastic
It was sooo good. The food was amazing. The service was spot on and all the staff looked after our two little ones so well!! It’s so hard to find a place with food that both myself and my wife enjoy and the kids as well!! I loved it.
Kid friendly, fast service .... and we saw Curtis Stone eating there, so food is good enough for a celebrity chef!
We were seated for an hour and 40 minutes before our food order was taken (we had to get a waitreses attention to order)
We were in the restaurant for 2 and a half hours and only placed one drink order when we were first seated. No one came and asked us for more drinks (with 6 adults we could have easily had 4+ each drinks in that time)
Booking was easy, staff very friendly, food was mostly amazing! Bit more focus on keeping drinks coming would be the only thing to work on, but left very happy (and full!)
Very disappointing dry and flavorless american bbq. Food was cold poorly presented. Felt like we were eating in an army mess hall. Will never go back.
Great place for American BBQ lovers, good service and great food. But recommend booking as the place gets very busy.
Meat was dry and underwhelming, once we had our food delivered didn't see a waiter until we had to chase one down to request the bill.
Eaten here a few times and can’t say a bad word about it. Food is amazing. Staff are amazing and the atmosphere is 10 out of 10.
We are into smoking meat at home so we had to try this whilst in Melbourne. Great experience.
Very good staff efficient and friendly
Food was delicious, I only wish I could have eaten more.
Tried the Scrooge MacDuck (at my waitresses suggestion as I couldn't pick!) and the Frisky Whisky cocktail too, both absolutely delicious.
All staff very welcoming and attentive, ambience was great too.
Always wanted to try an American bbq and this did not disappoint. From the smoked bbq meats to the sides.
Food was generally good, rib meat was a bit dry.
Service was a tad slow but staff were friendly.
Would I go back? Probably.
A great place to eat if like meat! Not one of the best smoked or bbq meat places in Melbourne, but well worth the visit. 😉
Delicious food, attentive staff and a great ambiance - what more could you ask for? We’ve been to San Antone many times before and it never dissapoints. The smell from the moment you walk in is amazing, and the staff always have a warm and friendly smile.
We had a friend from Perth with us who’s never been before, and she already wants to make a reservation for when she comes to Victoria again!
Delicious food and good drinks. Friendly staff with a good atmosphere
Went for the 50 cent wings and had mixed feelings about the night. I’ve been twice now and the first time was much more enjoyable. The wings are served dry, so I ask for sauce. First time I wasn’t charged at all, and the next time I went with a group, we were charged $2 per sauce, with no warning. Not only were we charged, they gave us like the tiniest amount of sauce, so me thinking it’s free, asks for 3 sauces. I paid more for sauce that night than for my actual meal!! Complete rip off, I just wish someone had told me! If I go again, I’ll be bringing my own hot sauce thank you very much!
Overall a great experience, food is great, service a little slow at times when looking for a drink.
Waiters were all very pleasant and accommodating.
Great food and very friendly staff! Service was quick.
It is always a great spot to enjoy great bbq and relax with family or friends.
Excellent customer service and very friendly/
Awesome food. Great ribs
The food was well prepared and delicious! The wait for food wasn’t too long and the staff were extremely friendly
We previously dined at San Antone for dinner in 2017 and were extremely satisfied hence our return.
Unfortunately this time we were disappointed.
The pulled pork was like warm, as was the Mac and cheese on the loaded fries
We had a 6:30 booking and the kitchen was already out of ribs. Service seemed very overwhelmed considering it wasn't a busy night. The food for what you pay is average and very small portions of meat for example 3 thin slices of beef brisket a small handful of pulled pork (which was dry and overcooked) costing $30+ with two sides.
Our sons birthday he chose to go there. He went out full up. He really enjoyed it. The plates were all empty
Fantastic food and smokey tastes. Flavours were incredible, enhanced by dipping sauces for the tender and juicy chicken. Pulled pork was to die for!
We had the $84 meat tray to share for 3. The chicken was dry as were the pork ribs. The spicy sausage has been repeating on us for 24 hours now.
All in all, poor quality and overpriced
Nice atmosphere, helpful staff, tasty food
If you like BBQ then this place covers all the bases not cheap but portions are large
Wonderful staff, food service is good timing and the corn bread the best I ever had. Really captured the essence of Smokey slow cooking. Will be back
The meat on the ribs was a bit dry and it was NOT fall off the bone tender. The pulled pork was good but I've tasted as good in an HSP. Authentic slow smoked pulled pork should taste way better than reheated frozen pulled pork I can but at Woolies. All the sides we tried, beans, potato salad, corn bread, mac & cheese were all good. The chicken was good too. The Brisket and the cheesecake where phenomenal.
We were initially taken by the mouth watering aroma. We ordered the 3 meats platter each where we chose 3 meats and 2 salads. The brisket was dry as were the pork ribs. Salads were covered in too much dressing. Service was friendly and fast. Cocktails too expensive we thought as were prices of food overall for what we received.
