Sushi seems to be available on every corner these days - but only Japanese chefs know exactly how to prepare the rice and bring the taste to full bloom.

Yet really well-made sushi & sashimi is only a very small part of Japanese “washoku” cuisine. The best way to experience the seasonality of Japanese cuisine is with our “Journey to Japan” menu: several small courses, all of which change seasonally (!). Since 2007, we have been delighting our guests with our attention to detail and the pleasure of your visit.

If you are using the international / english interface of opentable, for reservation of two persons please be extra careful about making a reservation on TATAMI (japanese rice straw mats where you take off your shoes) or not, since OpenTable doesnt seem to translate those two different seating options.

Dear Douglas, thank you so much for your positive feedback. Yes, unfortunately and surprisingly, this years christmas it was a little bit noisy in our restaurant due to the number of guests. We are extremely happy, people seemed to love the christmas menu and we will try to adress the noise level in the restaurant. Thank you and see you again!

Very nice experience and excellent service, but we got the feeling that the quantity was too small to justify such a high price. We went for the Trip to Japan Autumn option with 7 courses and accompanied drinks. We felt that the drinks to food ratio was a bit off - too much drink for too little food. Maybe next time, we will try the à la carte options.

Absolutely amazing time here at sansaro, accommodated me and my friends right after the flight more perfectly than I could ever imagine. The service,setting, and food is everything you want out of your sushi dinner. Thank you again will return over and over again!
