Sen Asian Cuisine
The food was amazing!
Freshly prepared, good Asian inspired dishes and ideally located near TD Place.
Unfortunately it was a bad experience. When we got there the place was closed in spite of my confirmed reservation. My friend and I are in our 80ies and I am handycapped. I was rather disappointed.

Service was utterly appalling. Short-staffed, and snotty about it when we complained that we have been there FOR FIFTEEN MINUTES without anyone so much as acknowledging us, other than to tell us to sit wherever we wanted. It was clear that the server didn’t want to be there and probably hates her job. We were attending a show, so didn’t have all night to wait. When our order was finally taken, the food arrived about twenty minutes later — which is slow. To be fair, the food was very tasty and nicely presented. But the service ruined the experience for us. Would NOT go back, even for the good food.
Great Pad Thai and General Tao's Chicken. We enjoyed our evening!
Love this restaurant. Always recommend this place for those who like Asian customer
This is really a Vietnamese restaurant. IMO, they should focus on that cuisine and not promote themselves as a general Asian eatery.
Good food at a good price. Service to take our order and receive the order was super fast. But they did not return very fast to ask how the food was and it took awhile to order another drink,
We went before going to see Kinky Boots but were a bit late due to traffic but got our food very quickly and had lots of time to get to the show. Very friendly service as well. I will definitely go back again !!
Great meal again at Sen. we tried a couple more dishes this visit and every thing was great. The General Tso is amazing every time. So tasty.
The dish that I had was amazing - chicken and mushrooms in a cream sauce with crispy fried spinach. We all had excellent pad Thai as well as a meal with three different kinds of meat. And each was $15-$17. Quiet and lovely decor.
Service was great. Curry satays and General Tso was excellent. We will def be back.
For a restaurant in the heart of TD place, reasonably priced for excellent food.
Okay food, but not savoury enough. For fusion style, I expected unique dishes; this was ordinary. Service was a bit slow.
Poor service - only one person! No manners to welcome customer. Had to walk out!
First thought was like "Something is not right". A lot of people dining in the same building, while there were only two men talking when we arrived. Anyway, we decided to stay and didn't regret. Chosen beef carpaccio and something with beef and a lot of vegetables, along with ginger tonic - all just fantastic! Service is thoughtful and fast, we have quite enjoyed a meal
Restaurant is small and quiet but has great ambiance. The food is absolutely delicious. My partner and I came here to celebrate my birthday and it did not disappoint.
Delicious food and terrific service. Looking forward to a return visit.
Great food and service.
A real pleasant surprise. Looked to get a 'non-pub' restaurant before a concert and SEN didn't dissappoint. Really tasty food and portions were perfect. We had curry and rice rolls appetizer and pot stickers. All of them were very tasty and the service was really good considering the restaurant was completely full. A bonus is that due to the smaller size, it is possible to converse (can't do that at the big pub restaurants) Reservations are accepted and easy to do - I would really recommend it. I will go again for sure!
It was quiet and pleasant. The food was delicious. They were accommodating and pleasant.
Service and food were excellent. Will
Be back on our next visit to Ottawa.
I recommend Sen happily. I was really impressed by the quality of the food. The Vietnamese-style Beef Carpaccio was divine! The red curry was delightful and flavourful. The peanut chicken was innovative and absolutely delicious.
Great location. Food was tasty. Perfect for dining before the movie.
It was the first time visiting and the food and service was excellent.
We ended up only staying for drinks and appetizers as there wasn't much ambiance and the initial service we got was pretty poor. We ended up siting there for a while before anyone asked us if we wanted drinks -- I think we actually had to flag someone down and the restaurant wasn't that busy at 7pm on this Friday.
The food at Sen is delicious and reasonably priced and the service is efficient and friendly.
