Beware, party of 4 has an 18% service charge even with split checks. Chicken Teriyaki was dry and overcook, other than that it was decent food. Service has much room for improvement, had to ask for tea refills, soda refills. They take your order, bring your food and they are done unless you ask for something. I don't plan to go back due to the required 18% service charge.
The service was good but the restaurant might think about adding 1-2 more servers for the dinner rush. The Chef was talented and provided a great show for the kids/family at our table. The quality of the New York Steak and Filet Mignon were sub-par...grisly and chewy. I couldn't eat the meat. However, the scallops and shrimp were perfect as were the sides-rice, miso soup, salad, and veggies. For the price, the meat should have been better quality. Next time I'll skip the meat and irder the seafood. Overall, a good experience but during busy hours it gets incredibly loud in the restaurant because it's one big room with poor acoustics.
Made reservations on Saturday night for 8PM. Arrived before 8 and waited until 8:25 to be seated. Finally got soup and salad at 9PM. Eating the main entre at 9:30. Bill for 4 people with no alcohol, $175. With built in 18% service fee. Then the bill asked for TIP ON TOP of that! We were here a few months ago before the price increases and the show at the table seemed to be better. We will be trying other options before coming back.
Watching the chefs cook everything on the teppan (huge metal cooking surface) was a nice show, including some juggling of utensils and skilled manipulation of the cooking food.
Teppanyaki entrees are probably enough food for two meals each if you’re not starving when you come in, and I thoroughly enjoyed the Sukiyaki Steak.
One thing to note though is that all the cooking happening in the main dining room does seem to add some particulates into the air just as you’d expect. There are fume hoods over every cooking surface but despite that I could still see some “fog” looking from one end of the restaurant to the other as we left. May be something to consider if you are sensitive to that sort of thing.
We had a great time celebrating my husband’s 60th birthday.
We had a party of 3 adults and 5 children under 9. The wait staff was great and very accommodating. The food was great and all the kids ate their meals. Fun experience for all.
We had lunch there. It was not busy at all on a Saturday. It was irritating that everytime we needed something our waitress was sitting down across the restaurant. Are cook was great and are food was good.
Food Quality not good. Sashimi was not fresh. Never go again.
The drinks, food and service was exceptional. Highly recommend this restaurant. The atmosphere is inviting and my guests really enjoyed this outing.
Really poor quality frozen food / charged as though it was fresh - poor inattentive service and thank god for the wonderful chef ! Should have saved my 300$ and stayed home - horrible waste
So far I have enjoyed Shirasoni's every time I have had the opportunity to eat there. I think many people are discouraged since Shirasoni has developed the policy to charge 18% gratuity for parties of four(4) or more. Most all restaurants do not charge that unless the party is 6 or more. I do not like it myself.
Love the dinner and a show!
Not impressed with the “entertainment” at all but the food was GREAT!
Food was good. Server was very attentive in the beginning and then disappeared for a while. Then she got busy and I had to flag her down to get the check and then take the check to the hostess stand. 25 minutes from end of dinner until we were able to leave.
Great food and people. Skillful chef as well.
The server I had wasn’t up to my expectations. She didn’t refill our drinks and she didn’t even bring us out our food it was some other server. I didn’t appreciate it.
The cook was okay. But LOVE THIS PLACE!
They were able to fit all of us. 10 people & had a great BIRTHDAY for my dad!
Great place for a special celebration. Food was very good and abundant. We all had a great time and very happily full of tasty things. Make sure you have the garlic fried rice and we shared spicy chicken, shrimp and steak.
Only issue was the wait for drinks or ordering an appetizer was over 20 min.
We have been to Shirasoni quite a few times. However our last visit had been a while ago so we decided to give it a try this weekend. Our chef was completely lackluster and barely interacted with us let alone doing any of the entertainment that other chef's have done such as tossing broccoli for the diners to catch and so forth. It was hugely disappointing as Shirasoni is very expensive.
The food itself was good, not great. Our waitress was excellent and definitely the best part of the experience.
Bottom line, if you want the show, go to the real deal - Benihana. If not, there are many better and less expensive Japanese restaurants.
Third time making a reservation and the people I bring along with me are always pleased with the service and food ... oh yeah and the DRINKS ☺️
I learned that it’s not a place to go for a quiet dinner. Or at least a not so loud dinner. Much more laid back/informal than Benihana’s. Food was good and so was customer service. Okay for a happy hour treat but not a date.
Food and service was excellent! Definitely will come back!
Great customer service and great food. Perfect place for gatherings.
Sushi was great! Hibachi performance was ok same as other places I’ve been. Great portion sizes with food especially for the price !
Had a wonderful time! It was really noise, but the food and chef skills made up for it.
Always great;and you can not beat the Happy Hourand The Warriors!
Great service and great.
Really great Teppenyaki experience. The food and entertainment factor are worth every penny.
Came here for Mother’s Day and she loved it! We had a party of 7 and they were able to accommodate, would suggest this for a family event or special occasion
The waitress was amazing!
Had a great experience. Chef was funny and very entertaining. Will definitely come back again.
Our chef didn't really put on a show like the other tables (teppanyaki dining). Everything was pretty salty except the sushi dishes we ordered. The only positive thing was that we were seated right away since we had reservations. It was a little pricey for a mediocre dining experience. $245 for 3 adults and 1 child including tip.
Jesus was very good and entertaining as our chef. We thought our 20 month old grandson would be delighted with the fire and show. Unfortunately he slept through it all so we will certainly go back. There was an abundance of food and we took some fried rice home which he later devoured. Very happy with our choice of this restaurant for our Mother's Day celebration.
I ordered the Tokyo with steak and chicken and a coke and water and sushi
Food is so good love the sauces great service drinks are good and strong try the fish bowl
Great food and ambiance! Definitely worth the cost...This might be my favorite new go to!
We have made this place a regular. Every time we come, our experience is nothing short of outstanding!
Ask for Chef Jesse, he was GREAT. He displayed excellent customer service and was very attentive to the guests at his table.
Good, delicious, food. Great service. Spanish speaking cooks was the best for my family
