Sat in their large room on the side and it was very difficult to hear eachother and to get service for drinks, order food, even the check! We had to ask 3 times for the check. The food was good but I wouldn't go back unless it was a weekday early afternoon.
We were a party of five. They sat us in the large open room. There were several large groups celebrating birthdays, etc. Very, very loud, could not hear people talking at our table. Next time, I'm going to request we sit in the front entrance area near the bar. Much more quiet there. Service was good, waiter attentive. Food was very good, it was "fresh."
Made reservations for my mothers 82nd birthday and was advised when we arrived the only available seating for a party of 6 was outside. Even though they had outdoor heaters; it was cold. Not what we were expecting with reservations.
Awesome food ...they had a line dancing class
Great service. Excellent Fajitas with very tender steak. Good beer selection and outstanding Margaritas
Very noisy kids rolling around on the floor will not return!!!
Always the best Margaritas in Morgan Hill. The Shrimp Burrito and Super chicken Nachos are awesome.
Kind of shocked that they were out of sour cream when we asked for it and yet when the enchiladas arrived there was white sauce that looked a lot like sour cream. Very odd indeed. Margaritas though are fantastic !
Great authentic Mexican food, in a warm fun environment.
The waitress was soo pushy. She rushed us repeatedly. Her primary goal seem to be how to get us in and out as fast as possible, although half the tables were open.
Our table was ready and waiting for us. The Menu had something for everyone, including picky kids. Food was served hot and delicious.
Great food. Traditional California style Mexican
Fresh and served hot
Great sangria and margaritas!
Food is serve so small for the price. Side Salad is like a spoon full
Rice like 2 tablespoon
Not going back there ever!!
We decided to give this restaurant a second chance after receiving terrible service a few years ago. We were very relieved that our server was so wonderful! The food was good, but their prices are a little high for what you get.
We've been several times. This time all of us complained about the same thing: the food was so salty it was nearly inedible. We had enchiladas, Chile Colorado, burritos, etc. Maybe it was a bad sauce.
The service was excellent. The salsa was good and spicy. The food has really improved from a couple of months ago just after it came under new management. It is much cleaner than the old days and the drinks are outstanding
Had heard very mixed reviews but it was good. Outstanding margaritas.
Food has improved since we last ate there 8 months ago.
Sinaloa has become too expensive for what it is. LaHacienda in Gilroy has better food for the price and it offers a similar atmosphere.
Every part of my combination except the chicken taco was very very spicy. Had not had that before. It would be helpful on the menu is something indicated level of heat. Love to try new things on the menu even after going to Sinaloa for many years. Love the bigger dining room for more quiet.. nice that the bar area which is very noisy but fun for groups or happy hour is separate. Everything very high quality.
The food a Sinaloa was very good, but the drinks were even better
My daughter and I stopped by for a quick Mexican meal to let traffic subside after a day at the hospital
We were seated immediately. Then I ordered a don Julio on the rocks. What arrived? A margarita okay. Sent it back. What arrived next was a tremendously watered down shot. Not what I ordered.
Then we ordered nachos with vegetarian beans. The waitress made a point to clarify the type of beans. What arrived? Nachos with chicken! Sent that back.
After all was sorted the nachos were fine; a bit salty but fine.
I would not visit this restaurant again. Might have been an off night. They were busy but it was only 6:45 on a Friday night. Management should be able to anticipate volume of customers and staff accordingly if that is what the issue was
Cameron was our waiter and he was awesome. Great service. He was on point with everything.
Great food , great service
The service was great, food much better this visit. Our waiter this last Thursday, young man, was super.
Great service and great food
We really wanted Sinaloa to be good. Service was awful. Sat over 20 mins with just our waters. Food was OK. The prices went up significantly and didn't match the quality IMO our bill was $60 for the 3 of us. Tacos & burritos. No drinks (only our waters, lol) No alcohol. Live and learn.
Food was excellent. Chips and water we're refilled frequently without needing to be requested. Took forever for waitress to take our order and then even longer for the food to come. The noise level was unbearable. Will not return
The food was excellent, and the service very good. I'll definitely return.
They were overwhelmed with the amount of business on July 3rd. Horrible service and mediocre food. Will not be back.
New management has really made a difference. Better menu, much better service and clean. We had all but given up on Sinaloa but, when we saw that they were on Open Table, we knew we should try again. We are glad we did.
Music in the main dining area would be nice. It's a bit too quite and you can hear everyone talking and eating.
Music soothes the mood.
Great food, great service.
Not just a Mexican restaurant with good food, my husband ordered the $20 ribeye steak which was well seasoned and totally worth the price and that's on the daily menu! Iwe will be back for that ribeye again!
Below average Mexican food for above average prices. The service was good but the food was not.
The food was good ol' home cooked Mexican and the portions were generous. However, it was Valentine's Day and the restaurant had done nothing special to make the atmosphere cozier or intimate. Bright lights, several TVs on the bar and table areas on, and I had to practically yell at the bartender to let her know we were there as we weren't acknowledged by anyone, even when only 5 tables were full. The Margarita recommended by the waitress - who was lovely - was not good yet we were charged for it. Not a big deal, but it would have been nice to have it replaced with a better one. Better for every dining and not for special occasions.
