    The steak was tough didn’t seem like a ribeye more like a chuck eye steak. 75 is not bad if you have the right steak and tenderness of a ribeye.

    Went for the brunch for the first time & everything was excellent. Bloody Mary’s were delicious. The shrimp & grits & the burger were our favorites.

    We had party of 4 and made reserves 3 days prior. We were seated in very back in area with a table of several girls who were very loud, and waiting on the rest of their large party. We could even talk to each other over the noise. We asked to be moved and were told there were no options. We left. I don’t think we will return.

    Thanksgiving diner for the mrs. and myself. The service was first rate and the food exceptional.Had the tradition turkey dinner and the chef presented it a an exotic moist turkey wrapped in delightful goodness, Wife's filet was perfect. The sweet potato casserole and the dessert (apple pie) was the best ever. Smoked is more expensive but you will not find better food and ambience in SC(including Charleston)

    Our first time here and the restaurant is welcoming. However … We went on Thanksgiving day and ordered 2 Turkey with Prosciutto and 1 Steak. Both Turkey meals were warm (not hot) and no Prosciutto $34 each. Sides were added and those tasted great. The Steak was cooked to order at medium rare but could have used more time “Searing”. $75 The service was great. At this price the value was a little lacking.

    Kinda dead night before thanksgiving, Ryan our server was very attentive and the food was fast. Of course bar and cocktails are the star here. Highly recommend trying the weekly special.

    I was very impressed positive energy started with the Valet Gentleman who was very hospitable. Our waitress Katelyn was amazing very professional and on point. The manager was about to make sure we were well taken Care of. We were celebrating my wife's birthday and they owned it and made it memorable. The food was cooked to perfection and the value of the meal was excellent. I have it as one of my top restaurants and we will return again soon. This is a good place to eat in Columbia.

    Recent changes to the menu left the dinner options slim. The burnt ends were tough not sure if they were over or under cooked. Food was slow coming out and the portions were small. We used to enjoy this spot. Not eager for a return for dinner but the lunch menu maybe worth a try.

    The food was excellent. The staff is very kind and accommodating. The atmosphere is fantastic. The staff needs some additional training. For a fine dining restaurant, I expect the server to be well versed on the menu and bar, especially since the bar at Smoked is such an important part of the restaurant. Our server was willing to find out the answers and we were there at lunch, which is the best shift to learn. I highly recommend this restaurant. I have developed restaurants across the country in 5-star resorts. Smoked is one of my favorite restaurants ever. They took the time to really think about the statement they wanted to make and then they delivered on that tenfold.

    The food was absolutely delicious!! Wish we could have had a booth but it was very busy :) The service was excellent with the exception of the woman who first waited on us & assumed we were ordering the small plate of wagyu, filet & ribeye on the stone as our meal. Which we were not. We found that to be very faux pas. The male server we had after that was Extremely attentive & exceptional. He gave us an extra duck because my drink came with it and I loved it !! Compliments to the chef and restaurant:) We will highly recommend this restaurant!!

    Upscale interior. That's probably it. Everything else needs corrections. 1. Bad start of our dinning experience: I booked a table for our birthday party long time ago, but when I and the person whose birthday we were celebrating came in, we were not seated right away. The staff told us at least three people had to show up to be seated at table. We explained that the rest of party was coming soon, in 10 min, we got a text from our friends. It did not matter for the staff. It's so not welcoming and not respectful to the visitors. 2. Another unpleasant surprise: we went to the bar to wait there for our friends. The bar attendant didn't know how to make the cocktails, which were in the bar list. She took the book and stared learning the recipes. Then she was so slow in preparing the cocktails, that our friends came already and they had to wait for our cocktails. Then we had to take the cocktails to the table, which was kind of ridiculous. 3. The waiter was nice and friendly, but he didn't know too much about wines. 4. The food was pretty regular, nothing impressive, but at least decent. Well, it should have been decent, considering the price. 5. When I booked the table online, I placed a special request in the order form: a small birthday cake. It appeared that nobody heard of this special request. To save the situation I ordered a big piece of cake, which we shared. The cake was delicious, but the fact that instead of a birthday cake we got a slice of a cake with one candle was the last drop. I don't like your restaurant. It doesn't meet the expectations. So, with all of the above - if the owner of the restaurant wants it to be really upscale, they have to dramatically improve the service and the quality of food.

    Smoked is a vibe all by itself! From the food to the service and atmosphere, we couldn't have enjoyed our anniversary lunch more! We felt special and were catered to from the moment we stepped in until we left. Nas, our server was amazing!! Will certainly be going again!

    I was disappointed at first. I heard only great things about Smoked but small things make a big difference in an expensive dining situation. The food was great, and our server was great. However, I was very disappointed as me and eleven of my friends celebrated my birthday here last night. Since my friends didn’t have South Carolina ID’s they were at first denied as we tried to purchase three expensive bottles of wine. After waiting almost an hour for them to have their ID’s scanned by the police, we finally got them back and proceeded on. Earlier while the ID’s were being checked, we asked for the wine to be decantered, and when we received the wine, it was not. For such a “high class” restaurant, it’s a bit embarrassing that they are that poor in being able to spot and realize real ID’s. I can’t imagine there are many underage kids coming into a fine dining restaurant and ordering three $300 bottles of wine. On top of that, one of the guests, is the son of the owner of the vineyard and it just was not a good look. The food was great as mentioned and I would probably return back for a date night or small crowd dinner, but would not want to return for a large gathering. I was upset and frustrated at first and I understand these are precautions, but i’ve been to plenty of fine dining restaurants and have never seen or ran into anything like this. As for the recommendation part, I would not refer Smoked to a young adult, as we were being looked at in weird ways by your bartenders, but I would refer Smoked to an affluent adult as they will probably be more viewed to fit in here. Thanks for the delicious food and the great server as she managed to do a great job of serving twelve people, but there are things that need to be touched up on at this restaurant and I would recommend to the manager and staff to not always judge a book by its cover because you do not know exactly who you may be serving.

    We were in town visiting our daughter and celebrating a birthday and an anniversary. The service was spectacular from the hostess to everyone on the restaurant staff. The food was fantastic, drinks were amazing. Next time I would skip the speakeasy as it disappointedly didn’t add anything to the experience.

    Small plates excellent! Entrees disappointing!! Caramel salted ice cream delicious! Mini pumpkin seasonal dessert disgusting, thank goodness it was free. Server was very attentive. Atmosphere was fabulous!

    Ryan was our server and was very knowledgeable and attentive! I was obsessed with the ambiance. Meat and cheese board- amazing. I was pleased with my filet and the vegetables. My husband wasn’t too impressed with the ribeye but everything else he loved. Chocolate mousse was SO GOOD. We will be back!

    The food was 10/10. That smoked lamb ribs was amazing plus the serving portion was alot we had to get to go box. Nyasia our server was awesome!! Overall experience was great. Definitely recommend.

    Worst service ever! Took over an hour to get our food and 3 of the 5 people had incorrect salads that were never corrected. We assumed it was our waiter's first day because of all the hiccups but the manager assured us he was "one of their best waiters". They need to get their act together for the high end level they are trying to promote.

    Great food! The Oysters with smoked pork and BBQ sauce were very unique and incredibly tasty! The crab cakes were a nice portion and very little filler used. 10/10 and I’ll be back soon!
