We had a great long lunch, everything was perfect. Lovely breeze sitting outside. Good service and food

Have not been at Snapper Rocks in a while and we were pleased to find that quality, service and food are only getting better every time.
We have had a few staples but will need to return to try the new dishes on the menu everything looked so inviting we did not know what to chose.

You forgot our bread order. Steak knife was blunt. You would make a lot more money if the table service was more efficient ( drinks?)

Such a misleading name. Thought we would be able to get a nice seafood platter for 2.

Enjoyed the meal but did find fish scales in my dinner and the water tasted funny. Overall was good.

Last night me and my partner enjoyed a lovely dinner together. Everything was delicious and so was the cocktails. It's a must try in Darwin Waterfront.

Outside really pleasant - but might be a little warm for non locals

This is one of my favourite places - especially when celebrating a special occasion. The food is always amazing and this time was no exception. I was however a bit disappointed with the new menu. One of the most enticing things about Snapper Rocks was its fantastic share plate menu which sadly has been decimated. I hope they have a change of heart.

My favourite dish is the delicious Snapper thoroughly recommend.

Love this restaurant and highly recommend you to try the cerviche

Has to be the most underrated restaurant in Darwin, the decor was simple yet the food was outstanding. Absolutely loved it.

Partner and I are still raving about the steak!!! Best steak we have ever had so tender and flavoursome. Will definitely be coming back

The food was the saviour here. Really tasty, but, serving a bland slaw with a grilled fish should perhaps be rethought...
Service was well below average. One waitperson was quite false and the other girl learning had never been shown how to pour wine.
Once we'd finished we were ignored, had to ask another waitperson for our bill...
Trying to be hip, but just not getting there.

Great local restaurant with a focus on using fresh, local to create wonderful combinations for their menu. Whilst seafood is a specialty, there are other things on the menu for the non-seafood lovers.

Brought some interstate friends, cannot go past the lamb shoulder (I know right? At a seafood themed restaurant!)

I have been several times before and the food / evening has always been excellent however on this occasion it was terrible. Three in the party. Two orders of salt & pepper squid were returned because the calamari was so tough we would have had more success chewing through my leather handbag than what was presented on the plates. Two alternative meals to the calamari (one scotch fillet and one fish dish) were also well below average. The fish dish was non descript in flavour and the scotch fillet, whilst cooked as ordered, was at least one third of fat which was left at the side of the plate. One rib fillet was overcooked and dry but my friend chose not to return it (because she had to wait so long for her food that she was starving) although she did mention her disappointment to the wait staff when they collected the plates. A comment was also made to the wait staff about the below average meals as evidenced by the amount of food left on the plates. Also the time taken to serve drinks was far too long. Whilst the wait staff apologised for the meals, it really wasn't good enough. If the chef had been advised that all 5 plates of meals were not to the satisfaction of the customers, then he/she should have made an effort to discuss with us or at least offer a personal apology. Up until now I have readily recommended Snapper Rocks to my friends but after this, I'll be telling them not to bother wasting their money. A very disappointing night. Definitely won't be back.

We have been here a few times and always loved it but Sunday night, service was slow, noise was VERY load and they had no fish wings.

Food seemed over cooked and it was disappointing overall.
Usually a GREAT experience but this was an off night.

Doors open and air con off made the indoor booking pointless
