    Service was lacking. At 4 PM in the afternoon I had to wrangle up the server 3 times. At one time she left the reataurant and went across the parking lot to visit someone in a truck while we were waiting on her to order. either hire more people or schedule people to come in earlier. It is SEASON

    Service from Lily our waitress was excellent. The Cod dinner wasn’t hot, nor was the lamb shank. The meat boy hot dish was the Cioppino. Disappointed

    We have been going to South Fork for years and as a Snowbird, this is our first time this Fall. Service was excellent but the food was not the greatest. The four of us were disapointed. Two orders of Cod, the fish was really too soft, cooler. The Shank Lamb as is ordered on a regular basis did not have lots of meat and was very greasy. The salmon was not very warm. I am surprised by the change of events compared to all the times we have been there. maybe a new chef ! The restaurant was not full at dinner which is a first so maybe management should start asking why. We might try another time but if the food is like what it was yesterday, I won't be back.

    If you’re dining outside some insect repellant might be good. Food was excellent. Service satisfactory.

    Their early dining pricing is good however the Portions are very tiny. We were told the regular menu portions are the same size. I couldn't imagine paying $10 more for the portions we received. Food was tasty though. Service was very good.

    Service wasn't very good outside near the side door. We might have been forgotten? We arrived on time and were seated. No place settings. Ordered our wine and meal and were told we'd get some bread for the table. Wine finally arrived and shortly afterward, the bread arrived with the food. Still no place settings and we had to ask for them. The bill was also delayed. Good thing we weren't in a hurry and fortunately, the food was very good!

    We’ve dined here numerous times. I think it was an off night. We had 6:30 reservations and was seated immediately. No one came to our table for about 15 minutes. It wasn’t “packed”, I’m thinking maybe they were short staffed. Our meals came in a timely manner, however by the time the server came back to check on us, we were finished. Food was ok. I ordered the sea bass. The polenta was cold.

    Food was excellent - high quality and good value. Service was very good. My only criticism was that I had made the online reservation to be seated outside - I selected outdoor seating, and it was listed correctly - I even printed a copy. When I arrived, some of my party had been seated inside. They told the hostess that we were to be seated outside, but they insisted it was inside in the wine room. When I arrived, I told them that I had specifically stated outside seating. They proceeded to contradict me, and were rather argumentative and rude. When they finally 'accommodated' us and seated us outside, there was more confusion and rudeness with the staff. This put a damper on our evening - not very professional to argue with customers, then loudly talk about them in their presence. Otherwise, I have been to South Fork hundreds of times and the food and service was excellent.

    Very good food and service was very good. If I had one complaint they sat us in the room they added on and the lighting was so bright it felt surgical. It would not stop me from going back but I would ask for a different area in the restaurant.

    Service was fantastic! Grouper, pork chop and scallops all were perfect! We were able to sub a few sides to personalize the experience! Tammy was a fantastic server, on point for timing of check ins. Very personable and anticipated our needs. Sat outside and enjoyed the weather. Parking lot a little noisy at times but thats uncontrollable. Fast becoming our go to place for consistently great food as we are permanently living here!

    The service was great. Early dinner pricing was a very good option. Unfortunately the setting both inside and outside is a disappointment, and the outdoor dining right next to the road and parking is especially unattractive. We found it an unpleasant place to have dinner.

    Our table of 8 thought the food was ok at best. Waitress was very good. Atmosphere was less than average. This place does not seem the same as in the past. Poorly managed.

    South Fork Grille is one of our favorite restaurants in Southwest Florida. The food is consistently outstanding! We have dined there many times in the past few years and the quality and value has never diminished. We took friends for their first time this week and they also enjoyed every part of the experience.

    Ate at the bar - excellent drinks and friendly service; food was top notch. You can’t beat the early dining special of 2 entree plus bottle of wine for $42.

    South Fork, as always, was great from east of reserving a table thru Open Table to our dining experience. Only isduewss my wife's food came out cool. They quickly made her a whole new meal which was delicious.

    The grouper I ordered to go with my salad came out raw - twice!!! The Caesar salad dressing was pure mayonnaise! The server was very helpful and accommodating!
