   The fried green tomatoes came out cold. The fried okra was swimming in grease cold and over fried. Chicken and dumplings were swimming in thin liquid. Not thick and harry with maybe 2 small spoons of chicken in it. Sad for a resort restaurant

   Amazing service! The kids ate so well! We had a wonderful and attentive waiter. We will absolutely be back.

   Overall a nice restaurant. A little loud. Dress code is a little below casual. There was a lady in her bathing suit there.

   We made a reservation here because we had a party of 6 and our plans for a fine dining option fell through. Our reservation was at 6 but we got there about 29 min early and they sat us right away. I mentioned on the open table reservation it was for a birthday, but no one at the restaurant ever asked about it (idk if the restaurant gets that info so I didn't let that impact my rating). We ordered drinks and appetizers right away. The Sweet Tea tasted like pure sugar water l. I love a good southern sweet tea but this was too sweet to chole down. Our two apps come and and I immediately notice a hair in one. I mentioned it to the server and he apologized then brought us a new one. Entrees come out and one of them was incorrect. Both dishes with fish (the fried catfish/human hair starter, and the salmon entree) had several bones in them. Again, we had a party of 6 so when the check came and the server mentioned something about the tip being included or pressing 0 we were a little confused, annoyed, and honestly just ready to go. We adjusted the tip to $40 and submitted it, only to realize gratuity was added and the editable tip was additional. So, we accidentally tipped just over $80 for our subpar meal. That being said, the pork plattwr was great and my husband's spicy pickle marg was probably the best I've ever had.

   Food was really good. Prices a little high for what you receive. Ex 8 oz salmon with creamed corn was $30. The room was very cold. It was loud and echoed so you couldn't hear the other guests sitting at the same table with you. Our waitress was very attentative and helpful. She did anbexcellent job. This was my second time eating at Southern Comfort located at Westgate in Gatlinburg. The food was good the first time as well.

   Our experience at southern comfort restaurant was great. Our server, Brian, was very knowledgeable about all menu items and it was a pleasure to have him waiting our table. I give him a 10 for outstanding service. The food arrived as expected and was cooked to perfection. The place is decorated well and all the personnel helped us enjoy our meal. Thanks for a wonderful evening meal.
