The service was terrible, went for my daughter's birthday and due to the terrible service and lack there of she had the worse birthday ever. I've visited the Las Vegas location and has a wonderful time of my life but it's all the service. Will not return not recommend because management didn't help either.

A very unique experience. The ambiance was fun but the music was a little too loud. Food was good but proportions are extreme so bring a friend that wants to split something!

I celebrated my 46th birthday with five of my closest friends, and it was our first time there. It was an amazing experience. Our waitress was amazing. The drinks were fun and flirty, and the aesthetics of the restaurant is so captivating.!! 10 out of 10

First off, the service was very friendly. I know everyone was working their hardest to make things right. The food was edible, though not much above the caliber of a hotel breakfast buffet. Coffee was good though. Cute place, now if the food matched the effort they took to decorate, I’d be able to recommend the place.

Not sure who is at fault here. Made a reservation for the Sugar Factory on OpenTable for Thanksgiving evening. I live very close to the Riverwalk and there were plenty of restaurants open on Thanksgiving day, but I thought it would be cool to take my family to the Sugar Factory. WELL..when we arrived, we found that they were closed for the holiday. What I don't understand is why a reservation for a day that the restaurant would be closed would be available to make on OpenTable. Any restaurant closed for the holiday should not accept reservations on this platform. Very disappointing so my rating was my lack of being able to experience the Sugar Factory at all.

Beautiful restaurant on the Riverwalk!! Very clean and well kept. Adorable food! We just got the rainbow sliders and fries, super cute and tasted ok too!!

The service was awful. Never got our utensils and napkins. I added a note to my reservation about singing happy birthday to my daughter and they never did it. The music was extremely load an not family friendly. This place is overpriced and overrated. It’s really sad that we have a place like this in San Antonio in one of our landmarks (River Walk) and it’s not worth the experience. I wish it was better.

I was so excited to take my daughter (10)to Sugar Factory! I had gone once years ago and it was an amazing experience. I don’t know if they have all changed or if this one is just sub par. They had just opened when we got there so we were the only ones there. Im not going to say anyone was necessarily rude to us…but we were definitely not welcomed or treated throughout with any kind of kindness or excitement that we were there. We were taken to a table and left for a few min. Then someone brought us some water and left it without talking and then finally our waiter came out and asked for our food order. I asked if we could order something besides water first and she said yes. I asked if there was anything fun for my daughter to order and she pointed to the pink unicorn and said some people like this. We ordered that and a coffee. Then we waited…and waited…and waited. Finally the coffee came out and then a few min later her hot chocolate (still the only ones there). We order some waffles and then I took my daughter over to the candy shop! I remembered it being magical…I out wait to see the expression on her face! We get over there and there is NOTHING in there. They had about 20 bears taking up space and then a couple of Kit Kat bars. Then our waffles come out. They looked nice and tasted ok…but they served them to us with ice cold syrup. I asked her about it and she said that was they way they serve them. 🤷🏻‍♀️ The entire experience was disappointing…from the moment we walked in to the check coming and seeing the automatically add a 20% gratuity. We had 4 people. I will NEVER go back! At least not to that one.

It was a cool place for a birthday dinner. Slightly over priced. The service was mediocre at best we waited 45 minutes for a napkin and silverware and it wasn’t even very busy.

Had a great time. The music was great but it was so loud the server didn't hear the first thing i ordered. But as soon as i asked about it she got out my sliders within 5 min. All in all it was a great experience which is really what i wanted to pay for.

We went to celebrate my daughter’s birthday and despite leaving that in the notes, the restaurant didn’t do anything special to acknowledge it. The wait staff seemed bothered by us, and overall the special night I was hoping to have with our family didn’t materialize. It didn’t help that there was a very loud patron seated at the bar talking very loudly with earbuds in, possibly intoxicated. Nobody said a word to her about her volume which was distracting. Not sure we’ll be back.

The food was very good, the drinks had an amazing presentation and tasted great. The restaurant is a lot of fun to eat in and service was exactly as good as you'd expect it to be. This is not a cheap place to dine but it was a fun experience while visiting San Antonio.

Our waitress was very sweet and I feel that she tried to the best of her ability to be as attentive as she knew how to be. The music playlist was all over the place and very oddly, the music would stop prior to going to the next song rather than transition, which was just odd. The volume would also go from very loud to medium volume during the songs at times. This was my first experience with The Sugar Factory, and definitely not what I was expecting. The food was just fair and the drinks were horribly overpriced. Prior to going, it was already my expectation that we would be paying for the atmosphere and experience rather than delicious food, and we were very disappointed. Our order was two veggie burger, meals and two basic martinis and including tip the extra tip outside of the automatically added 20% mandatory charge, our bill was $110! I truly expected that the vibe would be really “fun” and exciting and it was not. Occasionally, there were two members of the staff that would dance by the front door if a song came on that they enjoyed, but other than that, in my opinion it was just a restaurant with over priced food, loud, random music, and high priced drinks.

I loved our visit here! It was alot of fun and a great experience for me and the kids. I would say things are a little pricy (the drinks) but everything came in big portions which was nice for the price and experience. We will definitely come back the next time we are in SA!

This place is a gimmick. DO NOT waste your money here. We made reservations through open table. First time here. You do not need reservations as it had open tables on a Saturday. We had an issue with where we were seated. The manager came to the table and leads with “is there a problem?” We ask for another table and he says “all tables are reserved. We had a reservation. He says there’s nothing he can do. So we asked for the check so we could leave. $70 for 2 drinks and an appetizer. The waitresses was kind and apologetic. We explained that it wasn’t her fault but the manager was an idiot. As we are leaving, the manager comes running out of the restaurant. Bowed up like he wants to fight and asks my boyfriend what is his name and then repeats it back to him and says “Danny… great. I’m going to remember you”. You have the wrong people running this place for sure. I will never return to this place.

It was a fun experience for my children. I was not expecting for it to be as casual as it was. I had been an open table reservation and was seated immediately but the table was just steps from the host stand. I would have preferred the table not to be right at the entrance. The server was nice and my thoughts are positive in regards to the service.

They canceled our reservation. Food, Allright. Told us a cup to buy was 35 instead of the 6 after we bought a drink. No alcohol in my drink, treated like a liar when complained. Forced ti tip on bad service and soooo much more. Dirty, unorganized, low stock. We told hostess we were there for our boys bday, told waitres as well. Definitely will not ever go back.

I wasn’t satisfied with the food , the service, or the appearance of the restaurant. I put in on open table it was mine and my wife’s anniversary no one acknowledged my details in my reservation, we got lost trying to find the restaurant by going in circles around river center mall. The food was undercooked which left the food no flavor only the taste of heavy whipping cream. You pay about 45.00 each for the big drinks. We paid about 160.00 with an automatic 25% gratuity added automatically. Not satisfied at all and would never go again unfortunately

Amazing atmosphere! Great service. Food was so delicious and picture perfect!! Huge portions. The birthday party celebrations were so cute! We were a table of 4. 1 appetizer, 1 cheesecake milkshake, and 4 meals=$193.
