Step into a Tahoe Joe's Famous Steakhouse restaurant, and it's like taking a trip to Lake Tahoe. Ultimately, it is the food at Tahoe Joe's Famous Steakhouse that turns first-time restaurant visitors into long term guests. Our steaks are USDA, Midwest corn fed beef, cut thick and charbroiled over a cracklin almond wood fire. Our signature items, such as slow-roasted Joe's Steak, Railroad Camp Shrimp and the to-die-for homemade Nevada Cheesecake are favorites our guests crave and are only available at Tahoe Joe's Famous Steakhouse. A + server, Jeremy, helped make our dinner a great experience. The food was awesome, and perfectly cooked. The amount of food was a pleasant surprise. If you are looking for a good variety with large portions of delicious food at a good price definitely go to visalia's Tahoe Joe's!

The food tasted good but the service was mediocre, even though it was Father’s Day. The worst part is that we had some dirty utensils when we first sat down to eat.

The service was terrible. They microwaved my ice cold food and brought it back to me with a new dish. I had to try to call one of the waitresses, but they were all talking to each other why I was trying to get one and then I had to speak to a manager about remaking food because that’s very disgusting and unsanitary will never come back here again

Prime rib was very tough, service quite slow. Beer was firts thing ordered and last to arrive. For the price i would not go back. Used to be very good all around.

We attended lunch yesterday in Visalia. It was supposed to be a very nice enjoyable Easter meal, and it turned out not to be. Service was excellent from Jenny M. However, after spending $200 on a party of six we just felt that we did not get the value and the quality of the food that we have had in the past. We’ve always had good food there. It was very subpar, and the two orders of ribs that we had were completely burnt and dry as could be and the chicken was dry, and the Caesar salad dressing was very very fishy, which was something that we hadn’t experienced in the past. I should’ve stuck with the hamburger or with the Joe’s steak. Not sure that we will return soon would like to, but the quality of the food yesterday was very TERRIBLE

We used Open Table within 30 minutes of our reservation. The restaurant was able to accommodate us, but the information takes awhile to update on the app and be accurate.

I took my wife and daughters for my wife’s birthday. The food was very good, one of our steaks was medium rare and was ordered medium but we decided not to send back. Service was also outstanding and the wait staff was very attentive. Overall very good experience. Have been a few times over the years and always enjoy the experience.

Took a while to get seated, service was ok. The food was not good and the price was ridiculous for what we bought. Inside looks ran down. Overall I’ll take my money and go to Tommy’s or somewhere where the quality of the food is comparable to what you pay for.

Good service and good food but making Open Table reservations did not do anything really. They will only mark you as being at the restaurant once you arrive and are in line with all the other walk-ins. In my perception, it was still first-come first-serve. Waited over an hour before getting a table.

This was the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. I reserved my table days before . I was told the wrong daily specials . Then we ordered and waited for over an hours . I was brought out 4 small cold burnt shrimp and 2 blocks of vegetables, whole black mushrooms, my daughters pasta was swimming in what looked like they pour milk in her bowl also cold . We left at that point with the waiters being rude and saying well they are slammed back there . I get it was a holiday but any business should be prepared for a extra busy day . Your gunna make more money you need more help .
