Wonderful selections and very tasty preparations. Service was excellent.
Nice pleasant live music and great ambience. Good for a Spanish “vamos de tapas” experience. Do expect smaller than traditional American cuisine restaurants and spending a little more, if desired to eat large meals.
We had a great dinner at Tapas Valencia on a recent visit to Chicago. The live music was fantastic and added to the nice atmosphere. The service was great and the food was great, too.
The food was outstanding. We ate everything we ordered. The cold seafood medley was amazing as was the goat cheese and pear plate. Great place for a girls night out or a family dinner or a date. Festive and warm environment.
Our favorite place in the south loop, before games, shows, etc. They never disappoint!
It is a real treat to be welcomed back by the manager every time we visit.
Charming ambiance and great food Very interesting menu. I was there on two consecutive nights entertaining colleagues who were attending a conference at McCormick place. Location is very convenient for McCormick visitors. Every dish was delicious. I especially recommend the calamari, the lamb chops, the olives, the cold salmon and the beef skewers but truly everything we ordered was superb including the diverse cocktails.
On our reservation I had indicated that we were celebrating an anniversary. The restaurant brought us Cava and fruit to celebrate in recognition. Our waitperson, Bryan, was on target with all of his recommendations and he took very good, attentive care of us. The salad, tapas selections and tasty dessert were all better than our interpretation of the printed menu descriptions. A fine meal with great value
Second time we’ve been there. Food quality is outstanding. Good sangria. Service is very good. We sat outside both times.
Food tasted good but 4 star as i am comparing to some other spanish restaurants e.g. Binomio is Singapore.
The service was good- our waiter was attentive and the food came to the table in a timely fashion.
I enjoyed the decor and the location is easy to get to. Unfortunately we found the food to be average. Couldn't quit determine what the issues were- but for example the tortilla espanola was very bland- i have had much better versions at other Chicago restaurants (and in Spain).
We were greeted promptly and throughout the experience, were treated as very welcome guests. We tried seven different dishes and all were fantastic. My 16 year old daughter really enjoyed the Virgin Mojito!
We arrived early but they had a table available. Service was outstanding as well as the food. We will definitely make a return trip.
Always good food...usually good service...our waiter initially was playing bartender...but we got that fixed right away!!!! Was very attentive for the rest of the evening!!! Made the birthday party special!!!!
The atmosphere wasn’t all that great but the food was decent. Service was ok but nothing to gush over. Good place for a large group.
Staff and food were great - and the added touch of the flamenco guitars/dancer performance helped make this first time experience with tapas for my family a winner!
Great time with friends! Excellent food and great service.
The food, staff and music created a memorable moment!!!
First time visit and it exceeded my expectations! Great, diverse menu. Quality of the food was really good, the service was attentive and friendly. Definitely will return.
Even though the restaurant was near empty, the food took so long. One of our guests never even received his entree and we got contradicting explanations all evening about where the entree was. Finally it was brought out to-go as we were leaning. It was a sad experience.
Thank you for a wonderful birthday dinner and celebration. The staff, food, drinks and service were all excellent! We can’t wait to come back!
Lovely but service slowed down for a good 20 minutes- server just disappeared.
I think the ambience could be more interesting . Wall murals gorgeous, music was fantastic. Floors and tables/chairs very dull and bland
The wait staff at the restaurant was attentive and nice. But the food left something to be desired. It wasn’t bad (except the empanada we received which has raw dough inside) but it basically had the same level of flavor you’d expect from a suburban chain. Very bland.
We've brought guests here many times and love it for so many reasons; tops is drinks and food: each drink and dish is delicious; service is prompt and friendly; nothing is too pretentious, you can come casually dressed; the atmosphere and decor is fun and lively, especially when they have flamenco music and dancers; you can relax and eat at the bar or at high top tables, which are equally comfortable as the dining room; prices are very fair for the quality of food, and on top of all that you can usually find street parking, but the valet is very reasonably priced as well. Hits all our marks, that's why we've been back over and over!
Wonderful dining experience. Waiter went above and beyond to ensure our group was happy. Would definitely recommend!
Great time everytime!
We really think this is a gem. We LOVE the prickly pear sangria! The food is delicious and the service is great!
Not nearly enough staff to accommodate the restaurant. Way too long in between seeing waiter. Food did not come out like it should at a tapas restaurant due to the lack of staff. The food and drinks are good.
Great food and a wonderful spot to get to museum campus or soldier field.
Solid traditional tapas. Spicy patatas bravas, creamy croquetas. There was some weird taste in the tortilla española, But the potatoes were cooked through. Small but excellent Spanish wine list.
Father's day brunch was good. I like Tapas Valencia better late at night. Drinks and small snacks are great.
I also like the music1
Outstanding food! Service was top notch. Just a great experience overall. We will be back soon.
Loved the ambiance and the food. Downside: it took awhile for our food to arrive. 😢
We are long time customers and had a lovely evening. Our waiter, Brian, was quite enthusiastic and helpful. The Jamon Iberico was incredible as was the cheese cake flavored with 43, a vanilla flavored liquor.
The food was great, the atmosphere is fun, the veggie paella took 45-minutes but was worth the wait. $6 to valet park. I would go again!
Delicious food!! Loved the garlic potato salad and beef tenderloin medallions!
Excellent variety of food and flavors. Will come back.
Stumbled on this while traveling for business on Open Table and was pleasantly surprised. Very authentic. Great variety on the menu. Reasonably priced. Favorites included the baked goat cheese with tomato sauce, the assorted sausages and the calamari, shrimp and octopus hot tapa.
Cocktails also super yummy. Especially the pineapple martini.
The reservation time was met promptly.Server Brian was personable and knowledgeable. The space isn’t overcrowded with tables so it’s easy to converse with the people you came with. The menu selections are diverse and p plentiful. I’ve never been disappointed with any choice I’ve made. Highly recommended!
Late dinner after a concert. Great lamb chops and croquettes. Our waiter, Victor, very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the wine.
