Our birthday dinner at Tavolata was flawless. This is the second year we’ve gone for my husband‘s birthday. The waitress Grace was attentive and very communicative, and she had a lovely personality. The food was delicious and the homemade pasta is amazing! We tried two different sauces and both were great. Our appetizers were also really good: shishito peppers, and a beet goat cheese salad.

The food was very tasty! We loved the fried artichokes on our appetizer and in the delicious goat cheese ravioli. Wine pairings excellent. Also loved the Infante, a macadamia margarita. Service was super friendly and solid, but could be professionalized a touch more with prices like these (to be nit-picky: don't let guests sit with empty plates for long).

My husband and I decided to dine here for our 2nd time (first experice was WAY better) for our 12 year wedding anniversary. I don't like leaving negative reviews but this dining experience literally ruined our anniversary. We started with the foccacia, which was good, but we also shared a caesar salad, and it was so heavy on the anchovy I don't know when I'll be able to eat a caesar salad again. So now when we said something to our waitress about it being too heavy on the anchovy she just laughed and said basically yeah they go heavy on the anchovy here. Ok, not the best start to dinner but we move on. I ordered the bucatini carbonara, and although it tasted good the pasta was WAYYY undercooked. I know pasta should be cooked al dente, this was before that. Now, to the main problem. My husband's ordered the half chicken, menu doesn't even state what all it comes with. Out comes his chicken and it came with a carrot and sweet potato puree. My husband hates sweet potato. Its fine, he'll eat around it. He starts on the chicken and by the time he gets to the bone he notices its raw. Instantly stops eating. We alert the waitress who says they always cook it that way and your just supposed to eat around it!!! I'm sorry, what?!?! Chicken cannot be raw!!! At this point we're so annoyed we just ask for our bill. Thankfully they did take the caesar salad and the chicken off our bill but when my husband emailed the company to tell them about our experience all they sent back was an automated email, not once, but twice. Needless to say, he was sick the entire next day. I understand this has nothing to do with Open Table, who I am obviously not blaming all, but I feel like people need to know about our horrible experince.

Great food. Good service. It’s a noisy little place due to open kitchen and music. Wooden seats are not vey comfortable. We will go again for the food but not too often because of the wooden benches

We arrived a little earlier than our reservation time, and Jack was able to sneak in our orders just before happy hour was over. Food, drinks, and service were great! We highly recommend, and we’ll be back!
