TGI FRIDAYS - Darien
Waitress kept disappearing and not coming back for long periods of time. Another table she was supposed to be waiting in kept trying to get her attention, she ignored them and so they left. When she did she wasn’t very friendly and had the attitude that she didn’t care to wait on us and just wanted us to leave. Another waiter was waiting on a large party plus 3 other tables near us and even with all those people he was MUCH more attentive to the guests than our waitress was. Food was mediocre, the proteins were good but the supposed lemon butter broccoli was dry and you had to put your own lemon on it. The donut cheesecake was frozen and hard to eat. Overall not impressed, and do not have a pressing desire to go back.

Joe was our server on NYE, he was fantastic, friendly and attentive. Food was as expected, good.
Very busy when we were there. We were taken very good care of. The staff was very busy, yet, took time to welcome us, answer our questions and smile the entire time.
We always enjoy our visits to TGIF. We stick to our favorites for most of our visits. We enjoy the benefits of their reward program for most of our visits.
A nice casual place for a casual meal. Moderately priced good servis

First time ever I was not satisfied with my food. I tried one of the new meals & drinks & both were horrible. I'll never try them again. Service was a bit too slow but we made it through.
We eat regularly at TGI Fridays. We are always thrilled to receive a coupon for dining. The service was fine. We will be back.
We saw that the full slab of ribs had a special price. The ribs were not special. In fact, they were disappointing. They were small and not enough meat.
Our servicer marquise was amazing, he's very personable.

Food is always acceptable but not outstanding but I don’t go there for really great food. Service was a bit slow today and they were not busy.
Easy parking and got seated right away.
Waited a long time to be served, waiter didn’t know it was his table. My food came up first, then my husband’s food came out, then the rest of my food came out after he was done, waiter seem to be frazzled, very unorganized evening. Not the best service we’ve had there, but we will be back. I guess everybody has a bad day.
The server was extremely happy. He was very kind to my children.

Had a new waitress, very poor service. Managment was attentive but still was a negative experience. Not going back!
We went for our anniversary and thought we would have a few drinks and appetizers. The service was slow, our waiter was not knowledgeable regarding the drink specials. We ordered the appetizer special. You can only order one item at a time. I was finished with appetizers and waited long periods of time for the refills. My husband ordered ribs. They were overcooked and were just bones, NO MEAT. Looked like a platter from the Flintstones. We live very close by and thought it would be a good choice because we could walk home if we needed to. We probably will not return for a meal there again.
Pricing is a bit on the high side for items. They do not give any bread when you order a salad entree or pasta entree.
Background music is way too loud. we did request that it be lowered a bit so we can hear each other and were told they could not do it but then we think they actually did. There is no need to drown out diner conversation with loud music that is intended for background but is not in the back ground. It affects whether I will dine there again. Further it is better to advise that a customer that your will see if it can be turned rather than just say no. We almost left.
Horrible experience food was horrible
We dine at this location on a regular basis because of the excellent service, good food, and great deals. I am SO thrilled that I can earn Open Table points dining there now, too!
Had to wait 20 minutes even though I had reservation.... Air conditioning was on and turned up,everyone had a coat or sweater on eating. This is in February,and diners were complaining about it. The food was what you would expect at TGIF, nothing to rant or rave about but was good.
Our waiter keep his elbows on the table while taking our menu order. I live down the street from the restaurant,hadn't been in a few years but tried it again when I saw it on Open Table.
Won't go back in another few years and recommend to find other fares.
Other restaurants in close proximity that are far better with better ambiance, sitting area for guests waiting for a table and more bang for your buck.
We were very well taken care of. Waiter was very attentive. Got us water right away. When we said we needed another minute to look at the menu, he didn't disappear for the next 10 minutes, but was available for ordering within the next two minutes. When asked for suggestions he had definite opinions, including a relatively negative one on a particular dish we were thinking about. This was appreciated. He kept checking on us from time to time, which was appreciated; though he got a little bit "chatty" about his "career" as a waiter and on some other topics during a couple of his checks.
The food was excellent. Not being a connoisseur, it is hard to describe. I had the mahi mahi on naan sandwich, and sweet potato fries. Everything was very tasty. My wife had the chicken breast linguini dish which was also very good.
We had an issue - but not of the restaurant's making. We had a gift card from MyPoints, and presented that as part of our payment. The amount on the card (should have been $25), which was ordered only a couple of months ago, came up as $0.00, even though we know it had never been used. The manager got involved, but after a discussion, agreed to credit us for the full value of the card, which was very gracious on her part. We are seeking recourse from MyPoints so that the restaurant can be made whole. So this place really bends over backwards for its customers.
I'm somewhat picky about the doneness of my meat. It's usually too undercooked for me. The burger I ordered this time was cooked *exactly* right for me, which is not a common thing for me to experience at many non-fast food restaurants.
The server was attentive and handled everything as expected.
