TGI FRIDAYS - Manhasset

Food was good and waitress was really good and accommodating. The reason for the 3 stars is their bill.

I ordered 3 entries and a drink. Bill should have been $48 but it came out to almost $53. I told our waitress it was wrong and she took it to her manager. To my surprise the manager said I was mistaken. I asked to see the manager but he never came. After I clearly wrote out the price of the items and total it up for the manager he still wouldn't agree. He claim the computer system spits out the price and he couldn't do anything about it Well if the computer spits out the wrong prices then it should be corrected. TGIFriday is not only cheating me they are cheating all the other customers who order these dishes.

My advise. Enjoy your meal and the service. When the bill comes make sure you check the bill.

We went in for a quick lunch and it was the exact opposite of quick. The restaurant was not busy at all and it took almost 50 minutes to receive our food. So much for a fast lunch. Never EVER again!!!

I told the host we had a reservation through open table, but he didn't really check and just brought us to our table. We started with the strawberry margarita. It was a very well made drink. Tall and strong. nice.My wife and I shared our 2 dishes. My wife order the chicken and shrimp pasta dish. It was very good and we finished it. I ordered the 2 meatrs for 14.99. The ribs were very good, but the sirloin was tough and chewy. I only ate half of and toss the rest out. Service wa good. Overall a good night out. I would recommend.

Unfortunately you cannot give zeros. My prediction is this restaurant cannot stay in business w the lack of competent staff they currently employ.

The crew at TGI Fridays in Manhasset was clueless....Two different servers wouldn't accept the Open Table reservation and insisted they don't use Open Table. Finally, after 20 minutes, a manager cam e over and said yes they do.
Our server took drink orders, then about 10 minutes later came back to take drink orders. We told her we had already given them but she insisted we hadn't.
Service was plodding...although the place was 2/3 empty, it took a long while to get an order or ribs and the shrimp special.
The last order for a refill on the shrimp took 20 minutes.
And, as a bonus, the server brought us a receipt for someone's else's table, instead of ours.
Food is generically ok but our experience reminded us why we go to Fridays infrequently. Also, their Facebook page had the Big Ribs deal as a $12.99 special, but we were charged $22.99 and told that deal had expired a while ago.
Finally, tried to log in to my Fridays account but it rejected the email address I have used for 20 years, instead I received 3 robo auto responses to specific questions.
Fridays is ok for what it is, nothing more...it certainly isn't a destination place.

Came here around 6:30 on Cinco de Mayo (a Sunday) and surprised to find the restaurant empty. Despite signs all over restaurant and email promotion touting $5 margaritas all day, we were told by server “we’re out of house tequila, how about a beer instead?” What about other tequilas? Well that’s not an option. Food was mediocre. Mashed potatoes felt like it came from a box. Needless to say we won’t be coming back.

5 of us, all ordered Spare ribs. They were all overcooked. Surprising to get a basic menu item wrong.

It's always a pleasant dining experience - something for everyone

The restaurant itself was difficult to find because their signs are poorly placed. The front door leading to the Northern Blvd. is only an exit door. The entrance door by the parking lot has a small sign printed sign. The place was not full. Our server was very pleasant. The fill in manager went around the tables greeting customers and she was very smart answering a question we had about the bill. The bill suggested a much higher gratuity - it had to do with the value of the meal, not the actual price. We very delighted by the manager's demeanor and TGI Fridays should use this person as a trainer. We had unpleasant experiences at other TGI Fridays.

We were told they do not accept reservations from Open Table. The food was average and cold when delivered to our table.

Nice restaurant, very convenient to our home, with a respectable and nice variety menu. Our food was good.

Service is slow, especially the bar service. We sat for over 7 minutes before anyone bothered to come see us. The good did come on time, it’s just the waiting time for attention once seated.

Not well managed, a lack of proper supervision. 👎

Place just isn’t the same as it used to be. Food taste just okay. Table wasn’t even cleaned well.

The service was terrible. Waited over ten minutes for a waiter. Ordered drinks and entrees at the same time because his demeanor made us seem like he was one of those waiters. It wasn't even busy for a Saturday night. Wine glass was dirty with sangria fruit remnants on the rim. The entire rim. Had to ask another person to find our waiter and still had to wait 20 minutes for him to come over to tell him about the glass. Never came back after until the bill was asked for and then offered to comp a dessert. Too little too late. I still don't know his name because he never introduced himself.

Greeter did not know about OpenTable, but spoke to manager who took care of it no problem. Service was quick and attentive, and the food was great. Will definitely come again.

Came for the Rib promotion and they told us it was over. Manager was not very accomodating. Place looked dirty.

Went there and even with reservations they said at least 1/2 wait. Very disorganized and unprofessional

I never write reviews but this past weekend was a mess.
I was very surprised by the service, especially since this location is in Manhasset. We got seated and the floor was in filth. Someone finally came by and swept for us -- but this is something that I shouldn't have to see as we are about to be seated. Also, the waitress was a M.I.A for a while and hardly came by to check-in on us. Forks and knifes were never on table -- we had to get up ourselves and get it. The food was presented sloppy. I will never come back to this location. Very poor service.

We come here with the kids every few weeks after school. Service was awful on Friday. Food orders did not come out correctly and took forever. We needed the check quickly and it took over 15 minutes. Bathrooms were extremely dirty and smelled so bad you could not walk in. Huge disappointment.

The food was great and the atmosphere was good.

This location did not accept reservations, so our OpenTable was not honored. There was a long wait with larger groups. Luckily we were able to get a high-top table in the bar with no wait at all.

Although I would have preferred waiter service, the bartender did the best he could to accommodate us. Food arrived quickly and portions were huge and generous. The noise-level at the bar increased as the night went on.

Food was just ok, not great, service was rather slow. Had to ask for water & then they didn't offer to refill glasses even once. We also had several ppl at our table ordering beer, you would think they would want to offer them another round?!
It was a holiday dinner for 6 ppl.
1 person ordered a reg.meal & the other 5 of us ordered the unlimited apps deal, so it wasn't like we were trying to share food. I feel they purposely take a long time to bring the next serving to discourage you from ordering too many of the unlimited apps. Also FYI, their new rule is that only your 1st serving is normal size, the remainder of your servings are half size. Not cool.
Well, the food is cool, as it's lukewarm by the time they bring it 😣. Sorry, but I gotta give this location a thumbs down...
Also, I had to ask like 4 diff.ppl.to check me in on my Open Table Reservation to get credit for it.
No one seemed to know what to do.
