The Bridge Hotel
Booked for Sunday night ftdinner for the family table of four.
Received acceptance and email confirmation and got everyone to turn up to find the place closed.
No sign up for Sunday hours or advice to say they don't open on Sundays so had to scramble to find somewhere else to go
Don't take bookings and confirm if you aren't open!!!
Thanks Dan and his staff for an enjoyable meal
Our little guy (nearly 6) was treated with much respect by Dan and his staff when he was ordering and when he paid the bill.
We shared some delicious plates of food all served promptly, it was loud and busy but service was impeccable.
Great menu. Good seating choices. Lovely food. Easy booking. Close to public transport.
Fantastic as usual - amazing and attentive staff, delicious food.
Table booked for 6:30 which we got to on time we were eating our dinner by 6:45 and gone by 7pm. Felt rushed dinner tasted like it was leftovers from lunch. Overall not a very pleasant experience. Have been before and it was so much better.
Had a very nice (and cheap) parma. Service was a bit slow, but overall a good experience. Will go back.
Great food and excellent service as always.
One of the best!
Staff were friendly, attentive and welcoming, food was amazing; it came out fast and everybody was happy, even with some very picky eaters in our group !
Comfortable seating, heaps of space between tables. Highly recommend.
We will be back soon!
thank you for a pleasant evening. We all enjoyed ourselves.
Great Parma and Steaks on Tuesday night. Love the round booths. Great spot for birthday celebrating.
Too busy and not enough staff to support good service.
only negative thing was that it was super hot being seated next to the fire place. so good otherwise
Food far from a highlight - ok pub food at best. Service ok to good. Ambiance of the pub is great.
The choice of food from starters to mains is very broad and certainly gets the taste buds jumping in the mouth. More lighting would be great otherwise it was a great evening
Th noise was overly loud....there was a DJ already playing at 7.45! This is a time when people are still dining and the music should have been quite a bit quieter! We ordered and when the food came it was really disappointing. How can you get a cheeseburger so wrong? The meat pattie itself was thick, dry and tepid at best. It was the chewiest burger I have had. The bun was cold - even though it was toasted....the chips were tepid. My husband said send it back, but due to the noise of the music and other customers, I just wanted to get out of there ASAP and I couldn’t be bothered as I probably would have ended up with more of the same! My husband had fish and chips which were pretty average - the fish wasn’t fresh and had probably been frozen at so,e time in its life.....it was pretty dead on the plate! Flavor wise was average. We tried the Bridge Hotel and we definitely will not be returning for food...maybe a drink as you can’t go wrong there!
Great service and great menu & wine selections
After the 2 of us arrived at 6.30 pm with a pre-booking, our first drinks took approximately 20 minutes to arrive. The service was good after this time & both waiting staff were very friendly.
The CRISPY SQUID, LEMON PEPPER, ROASTED GARLIC AIOLI, was very under-done & a bit soggy. The remainder of the food was reasonable.
The lighting & ambience was excellent.
Wednesday night steak was good value. The place has plenty of seating options for quiet nooks or more open spaces. Dining room was cozy and inviting. First visit (despite living here for xxxx years!) Will go back. Requested medium-rare steaks which were on the medium side so perhaps UNDER order on the cooking. Very happy with our date night out!
