Great place to eat. Service was excellent and fast.
Little bit pricey but still great food.
I made a reservation for a table for 6.
I was called and asked if I would like a booth or a high top. I said NO I had elderly parents with me.
When we arrived we were put in a cramped both for 6

As a family we tend to get tied up in conversations and he was patient with us

We have been to other Chateau restaurants before but this was the first time to Franklin. We made a reservation and they seated us promptly when we arrived. We ordered pizza, Seafood Portofino, Italian Sampler and the Chicken Parm. All were delicious. The Seafood Portofino had a good amount of mussels, shrimp and scallops and a small piece of fish over linguine. Portion was certainly enough to fill me up. I would recommend. Service was great and I might even say a little too quick but I would take that over the alternative any day! We will go back for sure. BTW - Fried Ravioli app is a MUST!
Five couples go out to dinner every month. This was the first time we have eaten here and will definitively return. Our only complaint was some of the food was only warm, not hot. Our server was terrific.

Had reservations and still had to wait to be seated- table wasn’t ready for us... took to long get our orders placed and the food delivered. We have had lunch here on several occasions and everything was above average- the last lunch and two dinners were not good at all. Will have to think long and hard before/if we return.
Everything was cooked well and tasted good. No complaints.
My parents took me when I was kid to the Château in Waltham but I celebrated my daughter’s 13th birthday on Saturday in the new Franklin Château and I thought it was way overpriced and I probably would not go back
Day before Valentine’s Day maybe it was busy. Forgot our appetizer, meals sat around the corner while the runner tried finding out who it belonged to, then went to the wrong table.
Awful experience, took over two hours for dinner. Say for 20 minutes before waitress first came over. The manager comes by and states someone called out tonight, nothing they can do. Food just ok. Tried to pay up front and was told I had to wait for my waitress to pay. Another 16 minutes go buy and manager comes over again and also says I can only pay the waitress as they have to do it by computer. He then says I’m sorry if I knew earlier I could have taken something off the bill. I had not paid yet but that did not seem to matter. Waitress finally showed up and we paid and left. Avoid this place. The other chatau in Waltham and Norwood so much better. I tried to go here one other time before then and was told it was a 95 minute wait. Now we know why. Avoid, avoid , avoid.
Consistently average Italian food
Service was very slow. Our sodas and waters were not refilled and our waitress was no where to be found. The food was just ok, nothing that I couldn’t have cooked at home and my family does not consider me a good cook. Not a restaurant that I would recommend or return to.
Over all experience not good had to return my wine twice with cork and wine residue in in.
The food is quite bland at this restaurant. The number one item I would recommend is the roasted ravioli. It was the best menu item I had. Our server was standoffish and did not ask us if we wanted a drink or an appetizer. We will not be rushing back to this restaurant. It is clean and probably good for families with children that like bland Italian food
Franklin Chateau was wonderful, have gone to the Waltham restaurant for years. This is close to home which is a real plus. The waitress was awesome will be back soon!
We went Monday night at 6:15. The server was not the friendliest. My daughter and I ordered the cobb salad and the bacon on it was not cooked. Waited a long time for our order. Had to send it back.
This was our first visit to the Franklin Chateau we usually go to the Norton one. This one is closer to home. We had reservations which I highly recommend. We were seated immediately. The service was great and the food was very good. Just as good as the Norton one. We will definitely be back.
Unfortunately, this location is new and should be more mindful of the wait staff. He broke a wine glass, it shattered and we had to ask him to remove glasses from the table. He should have removed everything from the table. One meal was salty and taken off the bill. Overall, not a pleasant experience.
Prices are inexpensive but entrees not very tasty. Best bet is appetizers and drinks. We have gone twice and food is just not exceptional. Not sure why it gets great reviews other than large portions at low price. Pasta overdone both times and sauce not at all flavorful . Chicken dishes overly salty . Guess it is better than I write as it is packed but for exceptional Italian food I will go elsewhere.
I went to the Chateau for my birthday and it was a great choice! From the appetizers- bruschetta and shrimp scampi- to the main course- chicken parmesan- everything was excellent! The food was very flavorful without being too salty, which I feel is a problem with a lot of restaurant food. The chicken was cooked perfectly, the coating was crunchy, just enough cheese and a decent red sauce. I will definitely be going back!
I frequently dine at other Chateau restaurants and I realize Franklin is a new location. Overall the food was good, but the service was not good. Our server was gruff and not accommodating or friendly. I would suggest some basic training!!
This was our first time at any Château location. While we found the server and management team quite attentive, regularly checking our table, we found the food somewhat disappointing/average. There were five adults in our party and we were crammed into a booth. Literally no elbow room which added to our mediocre feelings about this restaurant. Normally we are happy to support local restaurants as we do live in Franklin. Not so sure I would be in a rush to return to the Château
Food and service were very good. Overall atmosphere and ambience were average.
I had made a reservation and things changed and I called to see if we could be accommodated early and was told yes that it wasn’t a problem. However it was a problem when we got there and the manager was extremely rude about it and said “I don’t know why they are even here so early who shows up early like this.” It made me want to turn and leave because I had the courtesy to call and make sure they could take us early and didn’t just show up.
Good, value priced food and service. Make a reservation.
Over all great dinner. A nice addition to the restaurant choices in Franklin MA.
Sat at the bar for dinner first time since it opened. We always liked the Chateau in Norwood and Norton and this new one up the street from us which is so convenient! The bartender was very attentive and service good. Drinks a bit pricey but a good pour. Minestrone soup for an app on thin side but tasty and bread a couple of hearty slices of white. We’d prefer warm rolls or crusty Italian. My broiled scallops were fresh and very good. Nice portion along with two sides. My husband’s Cobb salad was quite large and nicely plated. By 6:15 the place started to get pretty busy. Think this location will do very well. We will definitely return.

Chateau has always been our favorite place for dinner. I am so happy it has come to Franklin so we don't have to travel so far to get a good meal. We were pleased that the food was as wonderful as ever. We have already visited three times in the past two weeks. Thank you for the outstanding quality and service.
Excellent food, great atmosphere and TVs too for all the sports fans.
Service was so so but the food was below average. Came out room temperature and a few wrong items.

Sorry but the Chateau in other communities is one of our favorite restaurants. We had a 615 pm reservation. When we got there at 6:00, I checked in and the place was extremely overbooked. When I inquired about the wait, the hostess stated we are still working on 530 reservations so based upon that we would not be seated until at least 645 to 7 pm. No way that should happen. Furthermore, customers were sitting at their tables waiting for service and many tables were not cleared. They did not have the staff to accommodate the number of people at this restaurant. I hope they get their act together soon.
The food is great, but, it appears they are still ironing out the kinks. Our first experience was with a takeout order - two sandwiches one with salad, one with slaw and a french onion soup. They forgot to bag the slaw and soup. Ugh. We had dinner with friends there recently and my friend is gluten sensitive. At first we were impressed they seemed to go out of their way to let us know that the manager would deliver hers personally. Pretty cool. Well, he didn't. She got a gluten dinner. They substituted very quickly, and thankfully my friend was fine - but, for someone with more severe issues, that would not have been good. I see their parking lot is full a lot - it's great for Franklin and I wish them every success - but, hopefully they iron out all the kinks sooner than later.
The entree’s were fantastic and very flavorful.
The reason why the 4 stars is the dessert Wasn’t enjoyable, tasted stale and was missing something. (Cheesecake and cannoli )
