The Club – Scotiabank Saddledome
Two couples out to watch the flames vs oilers game
This is our second time to The Club - at Scotiabank Saddledome and was very pleased with the service and quality of the food. I would certainly recommend the restaurant to my hockey friends.
Great food, as usual.
Excellent service. The staff was great, as usual.
See you again soon!!
As good a buffet as is possible! Service was attentive but quite relaxed for a busy venue
It was colder than I expected it to be. The food went from hot to cold quickly.
Plates are always so cold! Food cools off quickly. Plate warmer at the buffet would be appreciated.
The Manager that night was exceptional and helped us with our invoicing. Best service in town.
Every time (5-10 times per year) I dine at the Saddledome I get an email confirmation and at least 1 phone confirmation. This level of confirmation is totally unnecessary and bothersome.
I was actually disappointed in the food, we didn't have shrimp cocktails or king crab as a choice. I hope you'll at least bring back the shrimp cocktails. Roast beef was good. fish was over done.
Brenda who was overseeing the reservations was phenomenal. Considering it was Stampede, it was amazing to receive a personal call verifying our reservation and answering our questions. Also, inquiring if we were attending the concert, and providing additional information for that as well. The service was amazing, with the amount of tables and people, our server was on top of everything, attentive, and personable. The food was amazing... Definitely will be coming back again.
It was good...but there certainly is room for improvement...ordered a 52.00 dollar bottle if white wine and it was warm...very disappointing...the chicken was very dry and the veggies tasteless...the potatoes were all shriveled up...roast beef was excellent but she was very stingy on handing it out
*Yes I would recommend
and plan to go again.**
Food doesn’t seem as good this year? Not sure why it costs as much as it does either.
This club requires a membership. But "Open Table" does not mention that. It is great place to host business dinners.
Best prime rib I have ever had. I could cut my prime rib with a fork
Good, food and reasonable lines. Room was a little noisy but to be expected before a hockey game.
Up to the usual good standard for service and food. Change in access protocol to line up on the stairs above Duttons not acceptable. Unless this changes, I will likely not book Chrysler Club.
food was good, perhaps a bit pricey for the limited selection.
Very disappointing experience. Food was inedible and for $200 you can eat almost anywhere better than here. Prime rib was like leather and totally tasteless as was the salmon chosen by my wife.
Service was acceptable without being outstanding.
Very nice venue for a pre game dinner! Recommended!
When we were seated at our table which was right beside the buffet , the food smelled and look amazing. Server came and took our drink order and she was fantastic through out the evening.
Restaurant wasn’t busy at this time but was filling up , when we got to the buffet the food looked a good we filled up our plates and went to our seats. When we took the first few bites everything tasted so good but would have been better if the foods that were suppose to be hot were in fact HOT , the beef at the carving station tasted good but was room temp at best. The four dishes that were in chafing dishes were room temp. The mushrooms in garlic sauce were very hot as there was a person cooking right informs of you. We just thought yea ok maybe the hit items were just sitting out a bit too long and cooled off , so we went back and everything that had been changed out as they sold down was all still room temp at best. I made a comment to the employee at the carving station, and he just kinda blew me off , but I wasn’t about to let that ruin our evening as we don’t go out much and my wife scored great seats from work.
Went to our seats and enjoyed the first period and then we both became ill like I have to go to the bathroom right now I’ll !!!!
We basically left after the first period. Don’t know for a fact if it was the food there but that’s the only thing that we both that was the same that day
Anyway we will not be back
Great place too have a bite and drink before the game!!
The food was delicious and the staff was friendly!
service was great! the people at the next table were very loud. I had my 14 year old daughter with me and they were swearing a bit and it put us off a bit. the food was good.
Have noticed a significant reduction in food quality over last year’s hockey season. The cheese selection is pitiful and the crackers are mostly nonexistent. Sad to say I’m disappointed.
First time at the Chrysler Club. Will certainly go again. Food, service, ambiance were all all great. Easy to access Club seats away from the main consort. Buffet well presented and a great assortment.
My table was cancelled unexpectedly and I was told that I must have cancelled it. As I brought 3 physicians who are my clients to the game, I begged for a table to not ruin the night. The staff were very professional and accomodating and made room for our group of 4! Food )
We made a reservation for a group of 6 during the Stampede for the Chrysler Club. Although they were lined up out the door, the manager and staff seated us when we let them know we had a reservation. They are well-experienced with handling large crowds. The buffet was great! Lineups were a minimal. 3 salads to start, baked beans, pulled pork, smoked brisket and fried chicken for mains. You could choose to have your pulled pork in a bun with slaw or brisket in a bun with bbq sauce. I choose to skip the bun and thoroughly enjoyed the meat selections (a tiny bit dry but still good). Pulled pork was saucy and delicious, brisket could’ve had more smoke flavor but was nice, and the fried chicken had a nice honey chili kick to it. Not too spicy. Service was fast and friendly and we especially enjoyed the opportunity to cool down on a hot day at the Stampede. $17.95 per person with a $2 dessert option. We shared the Mayan spiced chocolate cake and it was more than enough for two people. Dry but tasty with the sweet ganache balanced by a but if a kick. Overall, this was a great deal and definitely will continue to be a family tradition during the Stampede and events.
This is the best place to eat during the Stampede. The food was good and the value for the price was excellent. You can’t eat anywhere on the grounds and get fed as well for the money. The brisket was excellent as was the choice of salads.
Great food for the value. Service was good but staff were around a little too sporadically.
Best place at the Stampede to get a sit down dinner. Good value.
Food was ok. Service was ok. Nothing special. Overpriced for the overall value
Quick and convenient, with a great buffet with good food. Service was outstanding as our server held our table the entire game and had drinks waiting for us between periods.
This was my first time eating at the Chrysler Club with my 12 year old son. He loved the food selection. Our server was slow with addressing our table, we got our food, started eating and after 5 minutes I had to ask for drinks because nobody came to our table. And 15 minutes later, I receive a phone call from the guest services/host station as they were asking where I was. :) They thought we never showed up for our reservation. :) All good....overall, excellent food and nice serving staff, just left the impression of being a bit disorganized. We'd definitely return if given the opportunity.
Afternoon hockey game. Had Club seats which is the only way you can get a reservation in the Chrysler Club...Buffet was delicious and well prepared. Wait staff was really friendly, but not particularly attentive. I would have left a bigger tip, but the service didn't warrant it. When she was attentive, the service was terrific.....
I will go again.....where else can you go in the saddledome....?! If such a big deal is made to eat at this 'exclusive' club, the service should be top notch.
Terrific service by our server... she explained that we were welcome back in between periods (with a CC of course) and it was fantastic!
One exception to the experience was the waitress was most of the time too busy to assist in
the drink replaces. Would have more to drink had there been someone to ask.
Great place to go before Flames, Hitmen and concerts. Food was excellent and the server was absolutely great.
Excellent buffet! So much to choose from. All very delicious! Great place to go before a Flames game!!!
Decent meal foe the Price. Service was a little slow considering the number of people present. We have attended other events there that were alot busier with better service
