Amazing experience every time I come here!!

Restaurant experience was ok service was very slow at times. Food was ok orders came overcooked.

It's not the restaurant's fault, but my family and I came for lunch one afternoon that happened to be very cold and windy. However, we had to ask for a heater to be brought over to the table and then we had to ask for two more heaters to be brought to the table. None of the servers seemed to care too much about our comfort, as they did not ask how we were, how the food was, or if we needed anything. It took extremely long to get our first round of drinks so we were just sitting around waiting without the servers even checking in on us or apologizing for the wait.

All in all, the food and the drinks were good (everyone loved the Mediterranean Mules) and there wasn't really much that could be done about the weather but the service was lacking.

The receptionist, when I called was not very friendly nor was she upon arrival. The waiter was very professional and did an excellent job. Although the dips with pita bread were great, my mimosa was terrible and this is the second visit where the chicken was clearly reheated and dry. It was not fresh. French fires were good but they needed salt. They were accommodating with outdoor heaters and spacing of customers.

The view is everything here. The food is ok, my potatoes came out cold, actually cold and when I asked for them to be replaced as I asked for them well done, I was told that they will come out black and was that ok? Weird-most people like well done hash browns!! The server I had on Sunday was inattentive and took so long to help us I got up and paid the bill inside myself. Last time I was here the service was great...

This restaurant will never see us again. The service was atrocious. We got there early , the hostess was pleasant and sat us. From there we disappeared, no one came over to our table for 30 minutes. Then I ordered a drink and that took 20 minutes and never showed up with the drink , when we finally got our waiters attention he was rude. That was it . We walked out. There are many other establishments to spend my money but this place will never get a penny from me.

Spectacular view. Food was delicious and the service was great.

Great food and atmosphere. The salmon and seafood pasta was amazing. The staff was very friendly as well. Plenty if parking and the outdoor dining area overlooked the water. Plenty of fire heaters to keep you warm.

A very nice place on the water in Glen Cove, very elegant and the food was very good. I had a delicious Octopus for appetizer and the west cost oysters were some of the meatiest and delicious oysters I tasted.

The experience was absolutely amazing!from the moment we arrived,service,drinks,meal until the moment we left.Savaas our server was just simply fantastic!
We’ll definitely be back.❤️❤️

Food wasn’t good , not recommended

This was my husband and I first time at The Cove and we really enjoyed it. The service and food was very good. Will definitely go back.

We sat outside at a table for two covertly safe with the heater to keep us warm and watch the sun go down
A nice glass of wine and a wonderful piece of fish topped off by a cappuccino and great service along with great host the same can’t ask for more

Food took forever and came out raw. Server had zero sense of hospitality. After waiting for about 20 mins for the appetizer which was just dips, entrees came out and the steak sandwich was raw. Took another 5 mins to flag down the waiter, by the time I was done with my salad, his sandwich was no where in site. Server made no apologies nor tried to make it right. Blamed the kitchen. Took another 20 mins to pay.
Unfortunate, as the view is top notch. Wouldn’t go back because service was that bad.
If you do want to check out the view, stick to drinks and apps.

Staff was welcoming and attentive. We sat outside, it was peaceful and had a great view. Food was excellent. Large portions. Delicious desert. Great cocktails. We will be back

It was a lovely evening. Delicious food. Very good service.
The music was a little too loud -- making it difficult to have a conversation at our table.

Delicious oysters great service

This is a wonderful place for a special event. I would prefer more moderately priced lunch items. Right now there is no lunch menu just an all-day menu which has high priced entrees.

The food and ambiance were good. Service was ver good and professional. Masks were warn and tables were well spaced. The menu was on your phone.

Delicious food, great cocktails and nice, lively vibe.

This was our second visit( the first time was sensational). Unfortunately this time was on a Saturday and they only had a limited brunch menu. We were looking forward to repeating our choices from the first visit which was on a Friday. The food is excellent just a tad expensive but in today’s atmosphere it’s worth a visit

Never fails to please especially on a beautiful day. I ordered calamari and fries and the calamari were crisp, fresh and cooked to perfection. My companion ordered a salad with salmon. Fries are prepared fresh so no complaints there. The service is exemplary and overall one feels as if you are on vacation overlooking the water when sitting outdoors. Our server was a lovely mexican fellow who went through the specials in detail and was very accommodating as I requested dijon/honey for the calamari which typically they don't offer. He brought me 2 little containers so I could prepare myself.

This place is beautiful. Good experience

The restaurant was nice. The view was very pretty. The food was okay. The music was loud and annoying. Techno type music that gives you a headache after 15 minutes.

Love this place for outdoor dinner. However, “The all day “menu is very limited for a lunch experience. It needs to be expanded with more offerings and at a lower price.
Service is great, clean and lively ambiance.

We came for lunch on a Friday and sat outside. Water views, good food and great service! I liked that they have trendy but not noisy music in the background, which sets a fun vibe. They have heated lamps and tents available if needed. In addition to outdoor seating for eating, they have an outdoor bar as well! We liked it so much we booked a table for a party of 7 for a girlfriend’s dinner in October. We hope to have another positive experience - and enjoy the DJ which apparently comes out at 7 pm on Saturdays!

Another superb night at The Cove. Once again this place made my evening one to remember. Good times, good vibes, great food, great drinks, wonderful staff and the music on an outdoor Thursday evening was fantastic!

Overpriced food and drinks. Bland food and light drinks. Really like the service and ambiance.
Will never ever go back for such tasteless food.
I emailed them twice the next day about complaining, no response. I hate to write a bad review. But if you wait for 2 weeks to celebrate your special day and food AND drinks turn out to be blah..I have to take action.

Overall the cove was a good restaurant, the view was great. We caught the sunset which was really nice to watch. Our server was fast and very nice, however the food was not the greatest. My prawns were cold, and my boyfriends entree was not what we expected.

We had been there before and liked it. Menu little limited . Only down side they ran out of olives for our martinis which changes things with the drink

We went at 2:30 om Sunday and could only have brunch. We wanted a lunch menu with fish offered. Since this is a dockside restaurant and the online menu showed fish we were extremely disappointed. The meal we had was only fair.

Terrible service with very little waiter interaction. Eggs took 70 minutes to prepare .

Went for brunch. Food was good. Ordered a starter but didn't even get halfway through it before our lunch was being served. We felt a bit rushed. We told the waitress to give us some time (even to look at the menu) but she kept hovering. I would try going back again to give it another shot.
