The Empty Glass is an award- winning restau­rant and bar sit­u­ated on Sarsfield Street, in the heart of Limerick city cen­tre. We offer great food and amaz­ing value. Where pos­si­ble we use ingre­di­ents from The Milk Market and local arti­san pro­duc­ers to make up our menu which has a wide range of fish, sal­ads, meat, game and sand­wiches, in addi­tion to coeliac and veg­e­tar­ian dishes and a healthy kids menu.

                          The Empty Glass was also the empty restaurant. Food was adequate but not great. Other half enjoyed his chicken wing starter but burger was slightly over cooked. Chips were fab. Soup slightly peppery but ok. Fish of the day was poor. Good service and convenient location but hesitate to recommend.

                          Everything was outstanding there was a party going on so little bit to load when having a meal but you would get over it the manager over empty glass cant say enough about him hes a pleasure to speak to and very very helpful just a nice person cant wait to go back again

                          DISGRACE,A JOKE, Un professional. Twats, under construction for the last week, was never told, booking confirmed via email and text, drove 40k, spoiled the night ..it was a 50th dinner, only for the recaptioned in the hotel very polite and nice....Manager could be bothered to inform us on the night ,fuming on the night at what happened. Receptionist did not even know that there was renovation going on. No communication Should b called The Empty Plate

                          After a draining week we decided last minute to go for dinner so we booked the empty glass. We arrived and we're met by a lovely waiter. Food was lovely even the stir fry as recommended by the waiter there was only a hand full of people there so we could sit down relax and hear eachother speak just what we needed. Thank you

                          Went and restraunt which we booked was all booked out for party they could have let us know on reservation. diners moved beside bar with loud music so bad we had to leave staff were lovely and apologised just wish they had let us know restraunt was not a available instead of letting us reserve a table that wasn't there disappointing experience looked a lovely place menu and prices looked good . Again staff were very nice and understood us leaving

                          Highly recommend this restaurant, the staff here are fabulous and they went over and beyond to assist us, extremely pleasant and friendly. The food was lovely, excellent value for money, lovely atmosphere, I can’t find fault at all, I will definitely be back.
