Cool atmosphere and great craft cocktails. We left hungry. Party of 4- we ordered 12 oysters, lobster roll, lobster macaroni and cheese, 5 (very small) crab claws and a crab cake. It was delicious… but not enough.

Great place to have a drink but sadly, the food is not up to par with the friendly service and awesome decor and vibe. The $42 Lobster Roll was so underwhelming—mad at myself for ordering it. Go for drinks and maybe a burger but wish they did better with the food. As a guest of the hotel, dinner on site is not the call I fear.

Our waiter, the bartender, and hostess were exceptional. Extremely attentive and patient as we decided what to order. The hostess relocated us when she noticed we were a family wedged in between two louder parties. The drinks were unique and carefully crafted. The food was very flavorful and the portions were large. We sampled the burger, duck wings, lobster macaroni and cheese, cheese toastie (grilled cheese), calamari, and the shrimp cocktail. The grilled cheese, burger, and wings were our favorites. Nice hotel bar with rich history and art. Enjoyable rainy evening there when the Red Sox game was cancelled!

We had a really good meal at The Fed. It features solid pub fare—burger was good, drinks were creative and well prepared, and the service was excellent. We’d recommend it for a relaxing evening with good food.

Really delicious food and a great wine/bar list. Seating is set up to be loungey which can be a little less comfortable for dinner but not terribly awkward. It's a high volume place but the tables are spaced well so you aren't on top of your neighbors listening to every word 🤣

Unique place with a limited but very good menu. I’ve eaten here several times and have always had a good meal. Drinks are terrific and it has a nice ambiance, although, some of the chairs are a bit odd (especially for someone with a bad back). Recommend you give it a try.

I think the food is very good. Service is seriously lacking esp at a high end hotel. You order something and it is not correct. Staff is so MIA you have to hunt them down for help. However, the food is good and it is always quiet so it is a tough decision to go or not.

The menu was lacking and overpriced. The crab cake was dry and tasted frozen with no seasoning. There was no one there and the service was pretty slow. Wish we’d just gone somewhere else but we stayed at the hotel and decided to try it. The popcorn macaron ice cream sandwich wasn’t all the reviews seemed to suggest, but the sticky toffee pudding was very good. At least we ended on a high note.

First visit and consistent with the majority of reviews; setting and ambience is great with beautiful retro-style bar setting, food is excellent with a small, focussed menu - the duck 'wings' were the highlight! Service was the one area that lets it down; to be clear, the actual service we received was excellent, it just took an age to be seated, our order taken, drinks served etc as they're clearly understaffed. I appreciate this is impacting all industries but this has been a comment in reviews for over a year now, mgmnt need to address the issue.

The food is always great at the Fed. Comfortable corner table made for a lovely family dinner. We will be back!

Happy attentive and fast service….great bartended cocktails and the food was very good, from the crab cakes , the hummus dish and Caesar salad….all very good.
