Staff very friendly and attentive. Plenty of sanitation around. Food good but maybe a little overpriced. Room lovely and look forward to a return visit when restrictions lifted.

A lovely experience in a quiet location. Covid measures were followed giving you peace of mind. Food was beautifully presented and house white wine was well received by my guests. Staff were attentive as we celebrated my friends 70th birthday and they also brought a candle and cake to allow us sing the wee song without disturbing other guests. Well worth a return visit.
I had a lovely experience in the Garden Room as the room itself was very nice, food was excellent and the waiter(Connor I think) was fantastic.

Fabulous service and friendly staff with amazing food in a relaxing and safe environment! Everything was covid safe from staff to the tables which made it a relaxing and enjoyable evening. The food was amazing and I have recommended it to several people and will continue to do so. I have even bought a second voucher for the dinner because it was so enjoyable during such difficult times! Will definitely be back

Really disappointed ... beautiful surroundings, lovely table by the window and good food but the service ruined the night. Escorted from the residents only lounge despite the fact that they had seated us there ( we had no idea it was residents only), there were numerous empty tables and we had less than 10 minutes to have a pre dinner drink before our table reservation! Rude and utterly unhelpful waiter.. every recommendation was the most expensive on the menu... told us the kitchen was closed before we'd even got desert menus and even a simple request for a side of potato was initially refused! Overall lacking the class that we expected. So disappointed we choose to spend a precious night out at the Garden Room :(

It was my first time dining here.Came for lunch midweek. Was a nice atmosphere. We were early for our booking however Fiona who greeted us kindly organised a table straight away with no fuss. Fiona was so lovely and pleasant and extremely friendly. Lorenzo served us again extremely friendly and he helped us choose a beautiful wine to accompany our meal. All the staff were so helpful and friendly. Will most definitely be back again.

We had an Italian waitress and she was genuinely welcoming and friendly ...atmosphere was excellent , we will be back with our families ASAP ....food top class
Due to the present circumstances we were very impressed with the service, food and ambience overall. The staff were polite and unobtrusive regarding social distancing and it did not impede on our experience.

An ideal spot for Sunday (or any day) lunch... great location, tranquil ambience, excellent good, and very well aligned to national covid guidelines in terms social distancing and hand sanitising.
We had such a lovely experience for our weekend! We had a lovely runner called Micheal who was great at explaining the meal and giving his recommendations!

The starters we ordered could’ve been better, but the mains and desserts were absolutely unbelievable! The staff were pleasant, especially Michael who knew a lot about the menu and was lovely to talk to. We were well looked after, overall a fabulous experience.
Super evening celebrating Ashlings 50th. Food, service and ambiance was excellent.

The marion is a fabulous venue. Great service and so relaxing. The food is good but a little overpriced for lunch.
