The Hampton Social - Burr Ridge
Very good. A little noisy as we were close to A Wedding Shower. The soup we ordered came out with entree. We sent it back.
Great service from Nicole. Thanks for making our Birthday special
Service was terrible. Waitor saw that I was seated waiting for another guest but didnt ask me if I needed anything while I waited (10 minutes). Also forgot allergies. Told me mocktail I ordered was carbonated (was looking for something carbonated) but it was not.
Nice overall. Band was playing when we got there but quit soon after- a little disappointing
Server was above and beyond outstanding. She was thin, blond. Forgot her name. Recommended.
Our server was phenomenal, I wish I remembered her name. We arrived right at 6pm on a Saturday with a reservation for 8 and were promptly seated in the bar.
Food and drinks were excellent and beautiful decor!
Will be back again!
Had a great 30th birthday brunch with friends!
Truffle Parmesan fries should have Parmesan on them - not random red seasoning. Caesar salad was weak, but had great croutons. Avocado toast is one thing - but add tomato, crab (tiny amount) burrata cheese AND an egg - on hard sourdough - it was overkill and too hard to manage. Thanks to Kaitlyn our brilliant server - she saved the day with her outstanding service and personality!
Mostly good but disappointed in crab cakes - should be named hash browns
My wife’s Birthday. Gave her the flourless chocolate cake with ice cream complementary. Great small plates and appetizers.
It was my 18th birthday and I really enjoyed all my friends getting together for this speacial occasion
Great service, waitress was really nice and attentive, great ambiance and drinks were very good!
It was lovely. My daughter celebrated her bday and had a great time!
It was a great experience! Love going to Hampton social as always! Food and service is always on point!
Our service was excellent. The food was only “good”. I expected more for the prices. The atmosphere is very “instagrammable” which I can only describe as a perfect place for your 20-something year old kids to go and take pics. I had heard great things about HS but sadly this was my first and only visit. It just wasn’t anything special.
Went to have dinner with a friend. The service was great. I wish they had a gluten-free menu, but the server knew her stuff. The food was pretty good but, nothing special and a little over-priced.
It was lunch so There were maybe 5 occupied tables. From the moment I was greeted at the table I had a hard time understanding both the hostess and waitress. However, the waitress had a hard time understanding what I was trying to order, sparkling Rose. No specials were explained and she seemed to be bothered that we were in the restaurant. Food came out in good time as we ordered two small plates , soup and salad. We were celebrating a birthday which is unfortunate because the birthday girl didn’t like her soup, the tomato soup was super chunky. The plates were left on our table and we were never asked if we enjoyed our meal. Still only 4 or 5 tables in the restaurant and I had to flag the waitress down just to get another glass of wine. I spent over 150 dollars and felt like I was inconvenience for dining in the restaurant. It was supposed to be a fun birthday lunch however it was not due to poor service. The crab coquettes and jar of king crab was really good. Soup and Hampton Caesar salad was not very good. Also, when handing me my bill it was attached to a scribbled on postcard for the restaurant- I have never seen that before? Will not go back or tell anyone to.
We came to the Hampton Social in burr ridge for a birthday dinner and had an excellent time. The food was good and the service very friendly. We will definitely be back!
Service was slow
Celebrating a birthday, nice to get out. Fantastic food and wine.
The waiter was AWFUL!!!!!!! He could not remember our order and we had to tell him several times. I ordered the Caesar Salad, it had no taste and who in the world serves Caesar Salad with ROCK HARD BRUSSEL SPROUTS??????? They need to either revise the salad without brussel sprouts or take it off the menu. Also they need to revamp the salad dressing that goes with it. My daughter had the shrimp tacos, way way too spicy.
Marty, I'm sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your visit. We are always striving to have our food and service be just as satisfying as the environment. If that failed to be your experience, I apologize. We are grateful for the feedback and will address the concerns raised in your review.
Had a live singer, but he wasn't overpowering. Great service. It had a very spacious atmosphere with good food The Brussel sprouts didn't have as much cheese as last time, but everything else was great.
Thank you so much for the nice review. Glad that you got to enjoy both the ambiance of the restaurant and the singer. We hope you'll come and see us again soon.
The location is very pretty. The waitress was very helpful. The food was ok, our brussel spout appetizer was overdone and the first had minimum goat cheese. Our waitress, brought us a second. The crab cakes were good, very thin and the cheese potatoes, though good, were a little over baked. We ordered the Bee's Knees cocktail - actually 3 of them and all three tasted different. The second had minimal honey, the third had the most ice. The total bill was very expensive for two people on a Tuesday night! I will not return.
6pm reservations seated promptly, friendly front staff. Choice of high-tops or reg tables. Plenty of TV’s to watch sporting events. Large open air restaurant to host large parties if needed. Causal dining...Will get Loud. Good food but bit pricey. Great service from our waitress “Jordan” most attentive with fantastic personality. We ordered appetizers and entree’s. However everything was brought out at one time? Enjoyable dining experience. Will definitely return.
Staff is always super attentive. Brussel sprouts with goat cheese and almonds is always amazing. Crab cake stack with 6 minute eggs also wonderful.
The atmosphere, live singing, food, cocktails and our server Brittany, all made for an amazing Thursday evening!
Food ok, service needs improvement. Overall not impressed.

It was a terrible experience. After confirming and confirming and reconfirming one of our guests who was having a birthday that day was SEVERELY ALLERGIC TO EGGS. SHE WAA ILL AND HAD TO GO TO THE ER.
NEVER GOING BACK.
It is a beautiful restaurant. Service was great. Here is my issue. The prices were too high relative to the food we ordered. Honestly...$160 for 3 salads, 1 egg Benedict and 4 glasses of house wine is really pricey.
We tried the lobster roll, shrimp tacos, crab in a jar, grilled cheese with avocado, and Brussel sprouts along with the frozen Rose. Everything was really really good! Only disappointment was that we wish we could’ve tried more! So that means we can’t wait to go back!
Everything was wonderful!!
Food and service were great!
AlexiaM., thanks for taking the time to leave an awesome review! Glad you enjoyed your visit and we look forward to you coming back to dine with us again.
Nearly half the menu items were sold out, and our waiter didn't bother to explain this to us until we attempted to order each item. Most of the seafood options were unavailable, which was why the main reason we chose this restaurant.
This was our first time their and we were not impressed. Service was not good, food was average and yet pricey. Will not be going back anytime soon.
Open and airy feeling. Love that the menu wasn’t huge. Food was delicious. Atmosphere was lively.
Asked the server (who was very nice) were the crab cakes lumpy or lots of fillers, she went to kitchen to ask and was told they have very little filler in them 3 of us ordered, they were ALL filler! No sign of crab. We are from the east coast, so it was an unpleasant dining experience.
Food was over priced and not that good at all. We ordered calamari as an appetizer and fish as an entree and got all brought out at once. Nothing tasted that good, poor and very average. Will try a different place next time.
Very nice good food and drinks
Absolutely recommend Hampton Social. The food is delicious, service is great and it's such a nice place to hang out and enjoy the mild weather.
Brussel sprout appetizer was outstanding-
Scallop salad was totally overpriced- it came the size of an appetizer with 4 scallops for $28
They offered a bruschetta that was soggy as a remedy. Bad!
