   In their desire to pack more diners in, The Ivy have put (folding) tables in the private dining room. It is not possible to sit at these without having a table in front of you. Also the tables are back to back with others making it cramped and difficult for guests to get in and out. The food took over 30 mins to arrive and we we told that this was because we asked for 1 steak to be well done! The burger had mayo on it - which was not in the description - which seems nothing big unless you don't like mayo and having waited so long for you food!

   Very busy Saturday evening visit and the staff we great! Our table wasn’t ready so was taken upstairs for a nice drink first. Staff so friendly and nothing too big an ask. Food was phenomenal! Shout out to the fish and chips, it was like a cloud wrapped in crispy batter! Cocktails were delicious. Cannot wait to come back!

    We arrived 15 minutes early for our table unfortunately there were no seats available at the bar so we sat outside for drink. Our waiter was so nice and attentive. Our table was 15 minutes late but we had a lovely time. Our waitress again was so lovely the restaurant was very busy but her service was so good even though she was rushed off her feet.
