The Ivy Victoria Quarter
The most amazing food. I cannot recommend it enough
First time visit for my wife’s 50th birthday. It made a special day a very special occasion.
Lovely atmosphere, and service. Food also excellent!
We had a lovely time in Ivy! Gorgeous restaurant and great service.
Booked birthday breakfast with my friends. Food was delicious and birthday girl got a little treat which was nice.
My friend and I were meeting up for the first time in 11 years. I wanted to go to somewhere special. My husband and i have eaten at The Ivy Leeds before and really enjoyed it. This time we had afternoon tea. We enjoyed it but I have had better. The service was good but I asked for a tonic three times and eventually gave in. My latte was on the house as a result. The sandwiches were a bit bland, with very little filling. We had two dessert type dishes. No hot water was provided for the tea. In general I have had better afternoon teas elsewhere but we did have a good time and I will visit again but probably will not have afternoon tea
We were very happy with the food, service and ambience. Would visit again.
Lovely restaurant , when we arrived there was quite a few tables in. Service was good but as the tables emptied out, staff went on there breaks and service became sporadic. It took 15 minutes for the waitress to bring our bill from asking, far too long considering it was quiet then. The beetroot bread on our sandwiches was hard and the sandwich didn’t feel freshly made. But other elements of our afternoon tea were very good.
Absolutely lovely experience once again,. The attention from the staff is incredible. We were particularly well looked after by a young man who was leaving to join the Harrogate Ivy - well done Harrogate he’s a great guy to join your team Food excellent A**
Excellent food. Service good. Had to wait a while to pay the bill. Thought tables too close together
Braidon and Beth were great and food was lovely. Fab night.
Amazing good, beautifully decorated with a lovely, friendly atmosphere. We will definitely be back soon!
Right from the greeting we received, everything was perfect.
Staff well trained and we were given plenty of time to browse the menu with cocktails before ordering.
I would certainly recommend this restaurant for evening.
Not impressed with the meal for my husbands birthday. No ambiance, felt like we were eating in a cafeteria on a Saturday evening.
Worse was the food, I had scallops and tuna. I only got 3 scallops (one broken up!) for £12! And the tuna was over cooked and dry, even though it was one of the specials. Will not be returning and have told my friends not to bother either. My husband has been to the Birmingham Ivy and had a much nicer experience. Very very disappointed! £100+ for a meal for two, and very mediocre.
Totally ruined our Saturday evening because of our waiterWe received two £25 gift vouchers as a Xmas present which we presented on paying the bill the waiter went away and insisted there was only one voucher ,as we were in a hurry to get to the theatre I said I would double check when I got home.I rang the ivy back that evening saying we definitely used both vouchers since then I have left countless messages and finally got through to a manager under duress called Reece who promised to ring me Monday I am still waiting the after sales to returning customers is appalling for a company of this stature I truly hope someone in higher management reads this and contacts me yours sincerely Mr Merrick This is a matter of principle as they were a gift from an elderly relative
We were seated and offered drinks ,we then waited 15 minutes for the food order to be taken..then 30 mins for 2 starters one of which was 6 OLIVES £3.95. The main courses took nearly 1 hrs to arrive.2 children's pastas arrived without tomato sauce..2 shepherds pies without ordered side of chips and 1 blackened cod with side of rice. Took 10mins to attract someone and then we had to wait for these items to be delivered..pasta was cold when sauce was delivered..fish had been eaten so rice eaten on it's own.1 shepherds pie eaten and 1 -3/4 eaten by the time the chips arrived..was apologised to and told 2 sides would not be charged. Dessert s were excellent although no children's menu on dessert so they cost over £8 each.
Great atmosphere and service from all the staff. Would definitely return.
Very nice with lovely friendly service. Great food 😃
Love the Ivy Victoria Quarter. As a regular visitor I like the consistent standard of food, service, cleanliness, ambience and value for money.
Was a very special visit. Enjoyed every minute and was a wonderful atmosphere. Looking forward to the next visit
Great food and service, one of us needed gluten free and the choice was excellent.
Excellent food and service dining with a disabled relative and made to feel very welcome and looked after
Lovely meal in great surroundings and good service
Excellent lunch, lovely food, excellent service from all concerned, we were made to feel special by all staff.
Highly recommend the Ivy for a special treat.
Great food and atmosphere, will definitely visit again
Very pleasant meal. Staff are very professional. My only issue was that I had to go upstairs to the bathroom and it was quite a treck. (I have M.S. but my disability is not visibly apparent and I don’t like to make a fuss about it).
The food and atmosphere was amazing it had a special touch of class, the scones were the best scones I have ever had with the freshes strawberry’s. The only thing I was disappointed with was not having our champagne before our afternoon tea so we could have our tea with the food after we was asked what way round we would like to have it. I didn’t like the type of tea I chose which was nobody’s fault but the staff was happy enough to change it which was great. I would recommend to friends and would give the ivy another try
Excellent had the lamb veg accompaniment portion could have been larger and would have prefered food to come on a plate as found it difficult to cut in the bowl however will deffinetly go back again
We had a lovely meal. Our waiter was extra attentive, the food was amazing and I would definitely recommend the salted caramel espresso martini!
A class above the others, attentive staff and excellent well presented food.
Took some friends who were visiting from Manchester. Had heard mixed reviews when the restaurant first opened so was a little worried it might not impress as much as we wanted it to. We needn't have been remotely concerned. From the very smily welcome at the greet desk, to the excellent service, the quite lovely food & the very palatable Gavi, we were quite that - impressed
We're looking to return before the end of January before we go to a show - certainly there are no shortage of lovely restaurants in Leeds, so for us to be wanting to return again so soon should speak volumes
Well done The Ivy......your arrival in Leeds is appreciated
The frozen chips were a massive disappointment. The food was average, it was all a bit overrated. Style over substance.
really nice for a nice breakfast/brunch with a friend.
Quality of food & the chocolate bombe is out of this world
They have changed the yellow fin tuna for winter menu
Not so good
The summer menu yellow fin tuna is out of this world
Superb service and good food. Drinks are expensive but very good quality. Overall a very nice experience. Would definitely recommend.
The meal was a Christmas present and what fantastic present. Had a fabulous evening and meal, the service was great and very friendly. Will definitely be coming back, highly recommend.
Welcoming with great atmosphere. Good table locations and an experienced and friendly waiter. The food arrived on time but the bar seemed to struggle with getting drinks out.
The food was pleasant but not memorable. My chicken Milanese was a little heavy and under seasoned. The pudding which we shared was very tasty and the waiter thoughtfully suggested 2 spoons!
All in all a great lunchtime experience in a great location with a buzzy atmosphere.
This wasthe second time we used this restaurant. On both occasions the food was excellent and the service attentive. Thoroughly recommend this place.
Very good standard of food. Shepherd’s pie was different but excellent.
Went with a friend on 2/1/20 as part of our New Year celebrations and was not disappointed. Everything was perfect. The restaurant itself was beautiful, kind of Art Deco (ish) I think. The food was beautiful, we both had 3 courses, though on reflection I would have had the Prawn cocktail starter. The service was superb too. It’s going to be our New Year tradition to “Let’s go to the Ivy”
Beautiful food, excellent service in lovely surroundings.
