I find the staff who greet you at the door are becoming more rude with each visit. I have had easier times getting into clubs with a fake ID, then simply redeeming my reservations at the Keg. I appreciate Covid concern and people not wearing masks, but you don't have to be rude. Not sure why I keep going back, if we receive the welcome each time we come to your restaurant.
It was great! Drinks and food were delicious. Always love the frozen pina coladas.
It was a fabulous evening. Our server was outstanding. We didn’t feel rushed. Food was excellent. We cannot wait to return.

Steaks were supposed to be medium well and they came out with blood. Way over spiced and the cut and potion was horrible. Loud noises coming from the cooks in the kitchen the entire time . Used to enjoy going here but won’t be back.
Server was great but steak was very salty. Quality of food is not what is once was
The food was excellent and our server was the best. I was seated by the bottom of the stairs which was fine but there were people waiting to be seated pretty much standing over us while we ate. i was uncomfortable. just a note for future diners. Please keep people away from the diners.

My cousin and I had a lovely meal while catching up! We found it quiet enough to chat comfortably and the meal was excellent. They were also quite mindful of food allergies when serving. Would recommend!

Never disappointed in the Keg, the best of everything.
Asked for steaks with bone in and after 20 minutes was told they were sold out. Went with prime rib medium rare and it came out basically raw was red all over. Sent back to be done more and plus it had a lot of fat on it. The rest of the group were finished and I was just eating. No one came to apologize for the issues. For the value of what was spent I would expect customer service to be better.
We had an amazing date night. Food was fantastic and service outstanding. We can't wait to return again soon 😁
Food was fantastic. I recommend the prime rib off the roast air jus. The twice baked potato never disappoints. And the mushroom Neptune is divine!
The overall atmosphere was very relaxed which I totally enjoy.
Decided to go here for my birthday. The apps are always a hit at the Keg but this time opted for steak. I had the bleu cheese filet. I asked for medium well and there was a lot of pink in my steak. For the price and presentation of the Kegs steak entrees I find you can have a much better meal elsewhere downtown. My own mistake for thinking it would be over-the-top. The ambience and service was stellar, I will be back for apps definitely not steak!

Always a great experience. The music, where we were seated, was a little loud, but not unbearable. My steak was a little saltier than usual but I did still enjoy.

The service was phenomenal, drinks were great! The only issue was my steak was very chewy and the fat wasn’t rendered.
My steak wasn’t cooked the way I had asked but the kitchen manager came out twice to apologize & made sure it was ok after he fixed it. As well as took care of our drinks! Amazing service
Had a fantastic evening with my girlfriend, the food was prompt, hot, and done as expected. Service was genuine, and overall was a great dining experience!

The appetizers were good and large quantity (too much for an appetizer actually) but that's where the positives for the food ends. I ordered the pistachio crusted salmon with Brussels sprouts and fries instead of mashed potatoes. The pistachios were burnt, the small piece of salmon was slightly overcooked and tasted like it was frozen before cooking. I don't know what went wrong with the sprouts but the flavour was completely unpleasant and I couldn't eat them or even the bacon that they were cooked with. The fries were definitely just frozen fries and weren't even seasoned. Overall a completely unpleasant meal that was definitely not worth the price. The only part of the meal I could actually finish was the boring fries that I could've made just as well (or better) for myself at home.
A bit disappointed in the temperature of the food , plate hot , garlic mash Luke warm and onion crisps. Prime rib tender , but not a typical slice bit fattier and weird shape. calamari was good.
Sat in the back no where near any view.
First time in the new bldg. 3/5 times here have been disappointed. Not like Kegs on the mainland, I have never been disappointed with food or service. Last time here I had to wait 45 mins just to pay my bill. Think I will try out other places from now on .
Booked this table ages ago. Waited forever to be served. Eventually a manager took over our table. Seated at the end of a string of tables next to an empty section beside the stairs. Although the appetizer and drink was taken off the bill I regret this booking.
Fantastic!! Service was prompt, courteous and helpful. Food was tasty and right temperature. Steak done to perfection. Enjoyed thoroughly!!

Started off poorly by front receptionist being rude and questioning if we knew about their booking policy?? Then proceeded to tell us we could only stay for 1.5 hour limit?? Really??? I find it disgusting how in this day and age when businesses are begging for customers to attend that she started off a conversation like this. Nothing screamed customer service from this young lady and I wanted to take my hard earned money elsewhere to a place that would appreciate us attending. Never so disappointed to have a special occasion start off like this. Anyways, fast forward to our server Kennedy who all but made up for her coworker’s ignorance. She encouraged us to stay as long as we wanted to, served us wonderfully, engaged I. Light hearted conversation and made us smile during very stressful times. As a front line worker the last thing I needed on a special night was to be made to feel I was a burden to others. Thank you Kennedy for the birthday dessert which was my favourite. You made my night as best as it could be. Keg, please have a cheat with your staff.... customer service is everything and especially during the most challenging of years. Thanks.
Made to wait over 10 minutes in a freezing cold porch for a 5 pm reservation and the restaurant was essentially empty.
The four female reception people (hosts) at the front door were more concerned about everything in the world other than quickly seating guests. I would suggest that their attitudes were edging on rude as opposed to other restaurants where their is a welcoming attitude and environment.
We were then offered the worst table in the restaurant in the highest traffic area while there were dozens of empty booths. It wasn’t a situation where they were worried about capacity as the restaurant was empty when we left. I believe the table offered to us was offered because we had two kids with us. This was apparent as multiple parties of four were brought past the terrible table, farther into the restaurant to nicer areas of the restaurant. That particular table was then offered two two other young families and accepted by the third young family. Clearly a restaurant that doesn’t like kids!
On the positive side, our server, I believe named Dana was awesome. So pleasant and professional and the perfect amount of attention during the meal.
Two of the four steaks that were ordered were completely burnt and black on one side. I am not a person who generally complains in a restaurant but the server immediately realized and said she would send the manager. We were incredibly hungry and got sick of waiting so begin eating the burnt offerings. Manager showed up when most of the meal was gone and offered to remove a drink from the bill. In hindsight we should have sent the steaks back but I rarely do that at a restaurant.
Overall, my family and I are very fortunate and able to enjoy restaurants on a fairly regular basis, if not, this would have been an incredibly disappointing experience especially with all of the other great restaurants in the city.
